Anna walked out of a shop, a bag in her clutches as she left. She'd brought a bad to take home one of her finished pieces of pottery to show her sister, surly she'd have the better artwork of the week this time around. She smirked lightly to herself. Sibling rivalry at it friendliest some times made her feel giddy and giggly.
While the little lady was completing her errands, Yefrem was sauntering lazily along the streets, in search of a nice place to get some grub, quite hungry after a successful execution of a recent target. He hummed and mumbled to himself in Russian, pausing as he spied the pink and gold female. well.. the fruits on her, more so. It was odd, and perplexing at the same time, making him waltz over to observe the little icons on her, muttering things to himself even more.. and of course, in Russian.
Her gate seemed to slow as she noticed she was being followed by a strange individual. Her sister and she were new to this place and she had met a small few since her arrival. Her ears flicked back behind her as she made out what seemed to be some sort of muttering. Her pace quickened once more as she tried to gain a bit of distance unsure of this new encounter just yet as she rounded a corner, the bag swinging around as she spun to face her stalker.
Even as she kept on walking, he followed her laxly, as if it was completely fine. Why did she have food on her like that? Was she a fruit lady or something? He did like fruit.. and so, he called out to her, "Oi! Lady, you are selling fruit, yes?" looking quite excited. Perhaps this was her way of advertising!
Her face faulted at his words but it soon faded into a wide smile. Setting down her bag, she erupted into laughter. "No. I have no fruit.." She looked at her bag and wondered if maybe he thought she had food with her. "This is just pottery.."
Pausing as she did, he peered into her bag, blinking with slight confusion... then looked to the fruit markings on her pelt. Pursing his lips to the side, he hummed, "Well why is fruit on body? Is not way of advertise, no?" his english was clearly so very broken.
She stifled a small giggle and fluttered her long lashes as her gaze followed his to her markings. Shrugging she looked back at him. "I've always had those... They're my birthmarks." She shook her hair from eyes and grinned back at him. "Sorry for the misunderstanding."
His ears twitched in surprise from her response, tilting his head a little, "Oh, is no fruit." he looked a bit disappointed, but it didn't last long, as his eyes darted about the place eagerly instead, "Is fine. I find food somewhere!" he announced.
She chuckled with a shake of her head. "I know of a small bistro near here, I could show you the way if you like." Her own stomach let out an audible grumble and she offered an apologetic yet sheepish smile. "I guess It wouldn't do me any harm to get something to nibble on there as well... I could always take some back to my sister too.." She trailed off in thought the last bit said mostly to herself in thought.
His fluffy tail was flicking about happily, halting as she pointed out the eatery nearby. He looked to her with great enthusiasm, like a child would in awe, "has good food?" he asks, looking over her in hopes to spot it. Walking around her some, he glanced back, and nodded fervently, "Is good to eat! Let us eat!" his strong need to eat had him a little more peppy than normal, which would surely be sedated after a nice meal.
Nodding she turned around to face him once more. "It has some decent things to eat there.. It's no five star restaurant, but it's pretty good." She turned and picked up her bag once more and started off in the direction of the bistro. "C'mmon!" She said around the handles of the bag, nodding her head in the direction she was heading.
Pleased enough, he trotted on after her, looking about curiously at the other places that they passed. His nose twitched a few times to smell the delicious scents of food wafting out of stores and street vendors, making him lick his lips a few times anxiously. His dagger patted against his hip as he bounded, making a few give weird looks at him.. to which he didn't take into account.
Just down the way stood a quaint looking little building with an oning and tables set under it. Scents of fresh bread and other freshly prepared foods wafted from it's doors as they drew near. Smiling, she glanced to the side some at him and then back at the bistro as she drew closer to it. "Ish really quaint huh?"

Drawing up to the store, he looked it up and down, but mostly peered inside to see what he could, before giving a wide grin, "is nice!" he affirmed, nodding along with his decision. Not waiting for much else, he strolled on in, just ready to get some food in his belly!
Snickering around the bag, she followed him inside and looked around for a place to sit. Her eyes followed along the tabled till she found a free one and made her way towards it.
Perking his ears, he trotted on after her to the table, sitting himself down, and looking towards where the kitchen must be! His tail flickered this way and that before he picked up the menu... staring at it.. upside down.. pretending to know how to read it, "Mmm... let's see.."
Setting her bag down again, she took a seat and picked up her own menu, peering over it only to giggle when she saw his was upside down. "Having any difficulties finding something good to eat?" She hid her nose and smile behind her menu, her eyes the only thing that would be visible to him.
Rather.. well not determined, but certain of himself with how he was handling the menu, he glanced up at her from the prompting, giving a winning grin, "No, no, no, is fine!" he placed the menu down, and looked around for a waiter, calling out to one in Russian.. and ... ordering in Russian. Clearly the waiter had NO idea what was being said, and just gave Anna a confused expression.
Anna looked rather baffled. Seeing the expression on the poor weighter's face she frowned and gave a shrug and an apologetic look. "Perhaps if you tell me what you want I can let him know because He doesn't seem to understand what ever it it your saying..." She wasn't trying to be rude.. just trying to help.
Glancing to her, he made a motion of a circle on the table, and lifted his paw to show stacks. He spoke in more Russian... and looked to both the waiter and the female as if expecting them to understand, a wide grin on his face as a paw patted his belly.
Anna almost didn't get it. The raising of a stack gave her a slight tip. " Pancakes?" It was the only thing she could think of that was round and in a stack. Well, those and Belgian waffles....
The waiter simply nodded, and walked off. Yefrem had wanted a burger, but heck he didn't know what he was getting now. But he was happy to be having food on the way. Grinning wide, he sat back in his chair and swung his tail about, humming a happy little tune.
Anna blinked after the waiter and then looked back at Yefrem. "I'm sorry.. I don't know if that's what you had been wanting... My question had been towards you rather than telling the waiter what to give you.... If you don't like it I can always try to figure out your real order and have that brought out." She offered an apologetic smile and flicked her tail lightly, her ears perking some at the tune he was humming. "That's a nice ditty.. make it yourself?"
