The Moldy Cheese
*UNDERGROUND*
The Moldy Cheese is the local Dive bar for the Mice. They come here to wash away their sorrows and to socialize after hours. The bartender is a grumpy rat, but he won't bite (unless you forget to tip). Oh, and avoid the Spicy Marsala. I heard the special ingredient is the bartender's own spittle.

Molly slinked into the dark dive bar. Old, buzzing neon lights greeted her upon her arrival. There was a small crowd of mice at the bar, as well as a live band, which consisted of two small guitars and an upright bass. She sat herself down on a bar stool and called the bartender over. "Blue Cheese Special, on the rocks," she grumbled. The bartender snorted saying, "Not even a please?" he turned his back to her to make her drink. Molly put her head down on the bar. "Please.....sorry, I've just had a long day."

A brown mouse entered the bar in animal form. Jarred took a long look and came to the conclusion that he was in the right place. He shifted into anthro form.
Besides the body built for bipedal walking, the forelegs that were now useable arms, and the red vest he now wore, Jarred didn't look that much different as an anthro.
He went up to the bar and sat next to Molly. He decided to take in the music the live band was playing before he looked at the menu.

Molly lifted her head and looked to the side. She saw another anthro next to her, so she raised her head all the way up. "Yo, what's up?" The bartender handed her her drink and she moved her tong tail around as she began to drink it.

Jarred was a little surprised to hear the girl next to her talk. He answered, "Nothing really. I'm just moved here. I never thought there would be a community of shapeshifters, let alone a bar for mice. Which reminds me. I haven't taken a good look at the menu but do I have to pay for any of this?"

Molly chuckled. "Newbie, eh? And yeah, you have to pay. Stuff ain't free." She took a swig of her drink and sized the Mouse up. "You don't really seem like the Underground type. You live down here?"

Molly almost choked on her drink. She had never met a pet before, and this was a huge surprise to her. "How did you find out about this place??" She asked, confused.

Molly twitched her whiskers. "Interesting. They couldn't have been too loud about it. We are kind of a secret society, only without too many crazy rules and insane leaders." She sipped her drink. "Hmm... I was born in the streets. I never had owners."

"You usually find it lying around. No one is too good at holding onto their money. Me, I usually catch food for money. But here, have ten coins. That'll get you something on the menu." She reached into her pocket and pulled out ten coins and set them on the table.

Molly was only slightly inebriated. The Blue Cheese Special was called "special" specifically because it contained a Mouse-sized shot of tequila. No one at the bar really cared about age since there were very few drinks with alcohol, not to mention those who were underage we're restricted to a one alcoholic drink maximum. The alcohol absorbed quickly in her. "Feeling sober today?" She asked.
