Alright yes, one of the cats managed to get away. It happens a lot once in a while, but you can help me get it back, can't you?


██ INSTRUCTIONS:

There are two parts to this game.

In the first part, RP your character going off to catch a cat. Roll a 100d to see what cat you have to catch for Flo.

After that, check under the individual posts for each cat for what to do next.

= For whichever cat you get, you may choose any place in Megapolis for the capture to take place, including SA.
= This game is here to help you get points, but do not abuse it and try to get all 10 points for growth to sidekick stage from this alone!
= Further instructions for each cat are stated below. Have fun!

FEZ CAT
(16 - 74, Common, 1 point for successfully catching)

Oh dear, so fez cat escaped huh? Beware, it may look very harmless but that fez is really, really distracting, and...

Sorry where was I again? Oh right.

• Roll a 100-sided die to get your result. Then conclude with an appropriate response depending on what number you rolled.
  
  
• 1 - 24:
  Aw dangit, you got distracted by that darn fez and it got away.
  
  
• 25 - 75:
  By some ingenius method, you manage to catch fez cat! Good job!
  
  
• 76 - 100:
  You didn't manage to find fez cat, but you do see the trail of distraction destruction it left behind. Guess you gotta pick up after it first...
  

Include the word CAUGHT in bold red in your post if you caught it! You get 1 point if you catch it.

You may choose any place in Megapolis for this to take place, including SA.

INVISIBLE CAT
(1 - 15 or 75 - 90, Uncommon, 2 points for successfully catching)

Flo is usually very careful around these cats, but once in a while, it simply vanishes into thin air. Bizarre...

There are two steps to catching this cat.

• STEP ONE: Bait it
  Invisible Cat likes shiny things and sunglasses, so use things like those to lure it.
  
  Then roll an 8-sided die.
  
  Odd numbers mean the bait failed to attract InvisiCat, or it was never there in the first place, oops. RP that in another post and conclude it there.
  
  Even numbers mean that InvisiCat has appeared! Move on to STEP TWO.
  
  
  
• STEP TWO: Catch it
  
  Roll another 8-sided die.
  
  Another even number means you caught it! Finish up with a concluding post and remember to put CAUGHT in bold red somewhere.
  
  Odd number means you failed to catch it. Conclude your post accordingly and finish up there.

Catching Invisicat will net you 2 points.

You may choose any place in Megapolis for this to take place, including SA.

TECHNO
(91 - 100, Rare, 3 points for successfully catching)

Wow... good luck catching this little guy. Binary programmed it himself so, who knows what its capable of. This one is malfunctioning though, so you gotta bring it in for repairs.

There are two ways to go about this:

• OPTION 1
  Roll another 100d. If you get either 1 or 100, you caught him and get 3 points! WOW. Remember to conclude your victory by putting CAUGHT somewhere in your post!
  
  
• OPTION 2
  You tried, but failed to nab him. Admit defeat and you get 1 point for doing so at least. Write out your concluding post and you get your point!

If you take that gamble and try for Option 1, successfully catching Techno will get you 3 points! Or you can simply go for Option 2 and get 1 point

You may choose any place in Megapolis for the capture to take place, including SA.

sidekickaa was feeling kind of antsy today so he thought he'd offer to help Dr Flo with one of her escaped cats. Goodness her lab really needs some extra reinforcements if these things kept escaping.

((GOT A FEZ CAT))

Well so he got to catch a fez cat. Excellent, should be easily done in no time at all! I mean, how hard can it be to catch a cat wearing a fez right. It was going to be a piece of cake.

Strutting down the hallways of the main building, sidekickaa made cooing noises to try and coax the feline out. All he got were strange stares from the students, but no cat.

He switched directions and made for the training grounds... aha! There is was. The mule rubbed his palms together in anticipation, You're not getting away that easy fez cat...

((GOT DISTRACTED AJDKFLJDK))

As Lady Luck would have it, sidekickaa was instantly mesmerized by that beautiful, beautiful hat. The vibrant hues, the glorious shine, the kawaii-ness of it all...

And so unfortunately, the cat got away while he was busy admiring the silly fez. Damnit.

An escaped cat, eh? Tabby imagined that this was a crucial test of her competence as a hero-in-training... one of the basics, she believed, was to be able to rescue cats from tall trees... Nonetheless, Tabby went searching... she climbed the tallest trees she could find, keeping an eye out for cats meowing in distress!!

And there, she saw perched on one of the branches, a red cat donning a rather... distracting fez on its head...

Tabby climbed for the fez cat, but it was too destructive... Twigs, baby birds, and branches came tumbling down towards Tabby!! Tabby gasped and almost instinctively, managed to attract the baby birds safely onto her back....
But by the time Tabby could look up towards where the fez cat last was, it was gone .... She sighed and climbed onto a tree that wasn't destroyed by the fez cat, rebuilt the nest somehow, and placed the baby birds in. "There," she exclaimed and smiled adoringly. "Now to wait until your mommy gets back."

Theo didn't think that one of his missions as a rookie would involve chasing down a cat, but it was what was assigned to him and he would do it regardless. Thankfully for him, he was at least given an indication of where the cat had escaped to: it was somewhere in the dorms.

Theo sighed internally. The dorms? He though as he lazily looked for the escaped feline. I hope no one let it in their room. I don't want to go looking through drawers to find this damn cat.

Something flickered in the corner of Theo's eye down one of the corridors off the main hallway, hoping it was the cat he was supposed to be searching for, he shot down that way.

By stroke of luck when Theo rounded the corner he came into sight of the supposed cat. It was a cat with a very red fez hat on. He stared at it for a brief moment wondering how in the hell that hat stayed on that cats head before he remembered exactly why he was going after the cat in the first place: it was na escapee. That and Flo was kinda hot.

"Here kitty, kitty, kitty," He said in a sweet voice. Theo's neighborhood had plenty of cats that lived in the area, so he knew exactly how to talk to a cat. Or at least he hoped he knew how to talk to a cat.

As if written by the gods, the cat with the very red hat came up to Theo with a purr. Theo kinda felt bad that he was gonna have to grab it and haul it back to Dr. Flo, but it's what he was assigned to do...

...He'd get the cat back to her later.

Picking the CAUGHT cat up, Theo looked around briefly before smiling, whispering to the feline in his arms, "Com'on fuzz-ball. You and me are gonna hang out for a little. The old lady can wait."  

[Saint-Cinq]

Arthur walked down the laboratories, hands spaded into his pockets and looking distracted. he was on the very last chapter of a good book and after that he had hoped that he would get to practice his writing for a little while. He'd tried explaining that good handwriting was essential to his survival at the Academy, but as no one seemed to buy that, he found himself here, standing at the front of Dr. Flo's lab, wondering what on earth she could have for him to do.

...cats? A cat had escaped and he was needed to bring it back?

Arthur grimaced. Talk about a let down. He'd had to walk all the way into a very secret and very high-tech looking laboratory and what did he get to do? Track down a computer virus in a virtual reality world? Battle against a plant monster that threatened the island? No, he got to run after cats.

At least some of them sounded interesting. He wondered which one he would be assigned to go after.

When she was recruited to the Academy and they said she would be "rescuing kittens from trees" Danica had thought they were being ironic. But here she was, trolling around the school grounds with a pocket full of cat treats and a laser pointer. Extra credit or no, she was feeling more than a little is silly. She looked around and cleared her throat. "Er... here Kitty-Kitty?"  

[Saint-Cinq]

"An invisible cat, huh?" Arthur murmured. Huh. That sounded a lot more interesting than he'd thought it would. Like he were fighting against the Invisible Man or something from his stories, and it would be a battle of the wits to see which one of them would slip up first.

Arthur decided that he could get behind this.

After a quick inventory of his person, Arthur decided that the purple-checkered and studded belt that he was wearing would probably be the shiniest thing he had on his person. His jeans were skintight anyway-- the belt was more for the statement than for the utility. He folded the belt into what he hoped was an alluring shape-- what did one use to attract cats anyway? -- and then crouched behind a tree in the green outside the laboratory, waiting for the cat to make its move.
