In the small coastal town of Balmore, things were as ordinary and normal as can be. All the neighbors were good friends and everyone knew each other. Things were quite peaceful till one day a baby was found on the steps to the local police station. Only a few hours old, the baby was taken to the hospital as everyone searched for the baby's true home, but no one in town was due to have a baby or expected a baby anytime soon. After posting fliers about the lost baby for a few weeks, no one came for it. The police chief had become rather attached to the infant sense he was the one who discovered it, and took the child home to raise as his own. He quickly found that the child had a talent for trouble and only became worse as it grew. The towns people and police chief had no idea that the child could be anything other than human, but more was unknown about the infant than just its origin. The child held a secret that not even itself knew.........
The people of this town did not know that other races besides just humans roamed this earth along side them. There are many secrets that are kept secret with a great deal of effort, and are planed to stay that way.... many creatures roam this world, some good, some bad, and some who don't take sides.
The police chief, Bryan Green, named the child Haydon Green. The baby girl grew up as the town trouble maker. Some would describe her as a seemingly angry child, and has only gotten worse sense a stranger moved into town.. Something deep inside Haydon holds a burning hate for this strange new classmate of hers, the very sight of him irritates her. There is something different about him, something .......... inhuman. Story takes place in modern day ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Username: X-LUX-X Name: Haydon Green Age: 17 Gender: female Race: unknown Personality/Bio: Haydon was left on the steps of the Balmore police station. She was only a few hours old and no one came back for her. After a week of waiting the police chief, Bryan Green, took the infant in with open arms. He quickly found that Haydon had a particular talent for trouble and didn't do well with the other children as she grew up. Bryan never called himself Haydon's father and she never saw him as that ether. Haydon grew up knowing that Bryan wasn't her father, he didn't hide the fact that she was abandoned on the police station steps. Knowing that it would only hurt her more in the future if she was lied to her whole life. Despite not being her father, Bryan still loves Haydon with all his heart. As Haydon got into middle school and high school, she seemed to become more of a troublemaker, getting herself arrested by the very officers that she calls family. Along with her troublemaking, Haydon got into more fights at school as well. Her behavior and attitude has always baffled the teachers and everyone due to the fact that she is one of the smartest kids in the school. Haydon has always gotten A's on her assignments and tests with little effort. Now, Haydon is in her final year of school and the only thing stopping her from graduating is her growing criminal record. Then suddenly some new kid comes around and for the first time in her life Haydond starts to actually feel something. For some reason she feels closer to this stranger than she is to the people she's grown up with. Not knowing whats happening to her or what she is feeling, Haydon becomes irritated and enraged, causing her troublemaking and fighting to grow even worse. She doesn't know weather this new comer is a threat or a friend and somewhere along the way Haydon starts to question weather or not she is even human. To much of her life is still a huge mystery to all, Haydon just knows that she is very different. Abilities: strange dreams, unknowingly reading bits of others thoughts, and strong intuition. (for now) Other: Haydon was found with a strange charm around her neck that night on the steps of the police station, that charm has been her only connection to her true history. Haydon never takes the charm off. She has yet to realize just how important it is to her. Pic: _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Mysterious boy Username: VampuricWerewolf Name: Ariyo Dow Age: 17 Race: Incubus Personality: one of those people who is just liked by everyone, he is good at sports and in school and is wildly popular with the girls, but doesn’t seem to show any interest in them, except for one special girl that he watches when no one else is looking. Bio: Ariyo left his village in order to find the missing half of his soul. When he discovered her, he first thought she was human, but after a few careful questions, he learned of her unknown origins and knew without a doubt, this girl was his soulmate. Abilities: enthrallment, memory manipulation, shape shift (minor, makes himself look human), flying, inhuman strength, control pheromones in the air around him, claws, heals quickly Other: he has a necklace that matches the one that his soul mate also carries, though his is on a long chain and always hidden under his shirt, he never takes it off.

Haydon green Laying in her bed staring blankly at the ceiling, Haydon had another sleepless night though she did not seem exhausted or tired. Suddenly hearing the annoying screech of her alarm clock, Haydon slammed an irritated hand down on it to shut it up. Sitting up she looked out the window at the early morning darkness for a moment before sliding off the bed and making her way down to the kitchen. Haydon always made some breakfast for Bryan before he went to work. As if called by the smell of bacon, eggs, and toast, sharif Green came walking in with a grate yawn and the stretch of his arms. "Good morning." he said as he took over the cooking for Haydon. "Good morning Bryan." she greeted him as usual. She grabbed a few pieces of bacon and hurried back up stairs. "Your not eating?" Bryan called up after her with a questioning look, usually Haydon ate like a horse. "Not hungry." she called back as she finished eating the bacon and got ready for school. The police chief made a doubtful look at what Haydon had said but went back to cooking his meal. Haydons appetite seemed to change along with her sleeping habits, she did't feel the need to eat all the time. Until she got really hungry, then she ate like a pig. Haydon dreaded the walk to school as she took her shower and dressed. Finally dressed and hair still damp, Haydon scooped up her backpack and trotted back downstairs. "I'm going to school now." she said and patted Bryan on the back as she passed him. "Oi, keep the mischief to a minimum, and NO fighting!" he called while jabbing a spatula at her. Haydon walked down the porch steps with a smile on her face, Bryan got at least one phone call about her a week. The pavement was wet this morning, Haydons feet splashed in its puddles as she walked. She could hear the ocean waves crashing against the beach before she herd an annoying voice. "Well, well, what do we have here? The little orphan, Haydon Green." Haydon's green eyes went cold as she turned to see the school jock, Andrew, with his little gang. Fists clenching, she remembered what Bryan told her before she left and forced herself to keep walking. Andrew gave a confused look, usually calling her an orphan set Haydon off. He quickly caught up with her and stepped in front of her. "What, have you finally excepted the fact that you don't have a family? You don't even have friends." he chuckled and gave her a little shove. Suddenly a fist connected with Andrews jaw forcing him to stumble out of the way, Haydon was ready to lung at him but was grabbed by Andrews little buddies. In the end Haydon arrived at school with a bloody eye brow and lip, Andrew however went home for the day with his sidekicks. She knew they would never admit to being beat up by a girl. Other than the bloody lip and brow, Haydon had a few bruises on her back and sides, her knuckles were also slightly red and sore. As she walked in the door the principal folded his arms and narrowed his eyes. "Good morning Mr. Walker." Haydon smiled. She was then sent to the nurses office and received some detention after school for a week, starting today. "Good old mondays."

Ariyo arrived at the human school and looked at the front door for a bit, frowning, he smelled blood, more-he smelled Haydon's blood. his frown deepened, she'd been in another fight and he knew who with. at least he would know by who didn't show up to class today. he'd be paying them a visit later-someone called out and he smiled, waving pleasantly as if he didn't have a care in the world. just like he always did. he walked into the school and to his classroom, almost instantly surrounded by people. he smiled and talked with them, used to this since his arrival at the school. though he had control over his pheromone levels, he couldn't help a little of them leaking out and the humans were drawn to him like flies. The humans were, not so for his soul mate. a he walked into the room and sat down in his usual desk, the one off to the side and back behind Haydon's where he could keep an eye on her easily. he gave her a small smile as he walked past her desk, as he always did, but he saw the woulds on her face and his hidden anger grew. how dare they hurt her like that?

Haydon green Even before he came into the classroom, Haydon knew Ariyo was at school. The excited school girls running out of the room didn't give it away or anything. Haydon's eyes narrowed before the strange boy entered the room, and as usual he gave her a slight smile. Haydon just sat with her arms crossed and a suspicious look on her face. No one pretended to be friendly to her, they ether didn't like her or kept their distance. So what did this new kid want? Haydon tensed up just like she always did when he sat behind her, she was sure her tensed form was obvious yet she did not relax, she never did. Something about Ariyo made her defensive and irritated, she couldn't help but think that he was putting on a show for everyone else but in truth he was hiding something. Suddenly the bell rang and the teacher entered the room. After shaking their head at Haydon they turned to write on the board. Haydon thought she herd the words, 'Such a waist of intelligence.' come from the teacher but no one else seemed to hear it as she glanced around. Her brows pulled together with confusion before she looked back to the teacher. She then shook the words from her head and listened to the lecture of the day, trying to shake the feeling away. She always thought there was something strange about her, Haydon sometimes found herself answering unspoken questions or hearing someone say something that they really didn't say but thought. Haydon was then quickly lost in deep thought. Her green eyes examining the board as if she was paying attention but the look on her face hinted that she was somewhere else entirely.

Ariyo saw Haydon tense and felt himself frowning on the inside, she really didn't like him, but how could he change that? so far he'd let her be, not wanting to interfere with her life, but that hadn't been working. maybe-maybe he should take the initiative and speak to her, but how would she react? he was determined to find out. when the bell rang for break, he stood before his usual throng surrounded him and walked to Haydon's desk, smiling warmly. "sorry, but we haven't been properly introduced. My name is Ariyo, Ariyo Dow. i couldn't help but see that you arrive to school hurt often, may i ask where these wounds come from? i'd hate to hear a beautiful girl such as yourself has an unhappy home life."

Haydon green Quickly standing to leave after the bell rang, Haydon found her path blocked by Ariyo and she cocked an eye brow at him. What he said next totally threw her off guard and she glanced around for a moment. But Haydon suddenly went back into her defensive mode. Was he being sarcastic? Did one of his many friends tell him to mess with her? Haydon narrowed her eyes suspiciously. She knew he was the new kid but she was surprised that he wasn't warned to stay away from her by other kids. Apparently Haydon was considered "a magnet for trouble" though she never really looked for it, so the statement was true in a way. Haydon herd the loud crowds in the hall and knew Ariyo would soon be surrounded by people. "I'm Haydon." she said as she stepped around him. "And you can ask any number of your buddies as to why I come to school hurt often. I'm sure they'll have a story or two to tell." Haydon simply answered as she walked to the door and stopped. "My home life is none of your business." she added looking at him with guarded green eyes before she left. She walked down the hall dreading her next class. Gym. Haydon had a conflicted look on her face as she walked in thought. She doesn't trust anyone except Bryan, then why did something in her want to trust Ariyo? Was it because he was new and not yet infected with the same thoughts and judgment as the others? With the shake of her head she washed the thought away. No, she wouldn't trust anyone, not now..

Ariyo watched her leave and sighed softly, watching as Haydon walked away. her next class was gym, he hadn't been able to get into that class with her. he was still working on it, but for now he'd just have to watch from a distance. the kids that normally came to him in that class stared, their eyes wide that he'd talked to Haydon. he ignored their warnings about her and smiled, "people have several layers, i'm sure the front she shows isn't the only thing to her." he shrugged and head to his next class, interacting with the others, but his mind worrying about Haydon

Haydon green Adam Haydon had no idea that another had witnessed her and Ariyos interaction, someone she not only disliked but hated. She swiftly changed her clothes in the girls locker room and hesitated at the door for a moment, debating wether to just skip or not. Suddenly the door opened and the gym teacher almost ran into her. There went her plan to skip. "Get your butt out there Green." her gym teacher warned. Today they were playing basketball. Grate, something physical. Her gut sank as the teams were chosen. Her opponent was Andrews so called friend but was more of his leader/master. Someone Haydon knew she couldn't win against in a fight. She tried once and they both ended up loosing, it was her worst fight ever, he did care that she was a girl or not and to be honest she didn't ether. walking up to each other, Haydon looked her opponent in the eye as if challenging him. "Adam." she said bluntly as she shoved the basketball at him. Catching it with little effort, Adam gave an empty half smile. "Haydon." he replied. They looked like two animals ready to brawl, suddenly the gym teacher realized that they may have made a huge mistake. "I hear you had a little fun this morning." Adam said with slightly narrowed eyes. "Andrew won't be back to school for a few days." he continued as the match started, Haydon guarded him from the hoop. "I didn't hurt him that badly." Haydon scoffed. "I know." Adam replied knowingly causing Haydon to stop and give him a confused look. Adam shoved passed her and made a dunk before he turned to look at her once more. "You better watch yourself." he warned then switched groups. Haydon stood confused, Adams warning did not come out as threatening, it was more caution. They hated each other why was he acting like this? The rest of the gym period went by normally, except she noticed Adam keeping an eye on her. When the bell rang, Haydon dressed back out and decided to head to her locker, Adam was creeping her out. As everyone went to class, she didn't feel like doing the same, Haydon had to much on her mind. She stood just staring at the inside of her locker, not realizing that the wounds from this morning only looked like red marks now.

"Was gym that bad?" Ariyo asked softly as he walked up to Haydon who was staring blankly into her locker, "or you just skipping?" he had papers piled in his arms, his 'excuse' to be out in the hallway was that the teacher had asked him to take those to the office for him. he could always claim the secretary had him get something up high for her if he took a little longer than needed. "hello again, Miss Haydon. if you decide to go to class you can come with me and say i made you help me carry the papers so you don't get into trouble for being late." it was an offer he hoped she'd take so he could spend a little more time with her one on one

Haydon green Haydon's eyes widened for only a moment at the voice she herd next to her, then narrowed as she closed her locker loudly and turned on him. "What are you playing at?" she questioned as her guarded gem stone eyes studied him suspiciously. Suddenly her eyes met Ariyo's and Haydon tensed up, her mind went blank as a strange feeling came over her. Confused by this foreign feeling, Haydon became irritated and forced herself to look away from the boy as she bit the inside of her lip. She didn't know if he was messing with her or not, her eyes fell on the papers in his hands. Haydon really didn't want to go to class, but if she skipped she knew Bryan would get on her case about it. Still not looking at him, Haydon reluctantly took a few papers from Ariyo without a word. This didn't mean she trusted him though, she was still slightly tensed around him. Even though something in her wanted to trust him she kept pushing it away. He could still easily be just like the others.

Ariyo's smile fell away when she asked what he was playing at, "you know, i really have no anterior motive. i just saw you tend to be alone and i wanted to talk to you." he smiled when she took the papers, "but i understand if you don't want to talk to me. you told me to ask my friends about what happened to you-but i'm not exactly sure what you meant by that. i really hope it wasn't anyone of my acquaintance that did this to you." though he was fairly certain he knew who had done it, but he wanted to be sure.

Haydon green Haydon shook her head slightly as she began to walk. "Out of the time you have been here you really haven't learned much have you?" she questioned though it really wasn't a question. If the boy wanted answers he would have to start giving her some before she would say anything more to him, if he wanted to know anymore he would have to go to his little buddies. Haydon still wasn't sure if Ariyo was messing with her or not.

Ariyo laughed, "yes, well. i have learned a bit, but not too terribly much. i'm working on it though." he shrugged and stepped into the office, "Miss Lea, we've some papers for you," he said to the secretary and put the papers down on the desk for her. he waited for Miss Lea to thank them and for Haydon to put her papers down before heading back out. "However, if i learn it was someone with whom i have interactions with that hurt you in such a way, whether it be today or previous days, i'm afraid i'll have to stop hanging out with them. i will have nothing to do with those who raise a hand against a woman." he rubbed the back of his head, "you could say i'm a lover, not a fighter."
