Sonika quickly threw on her winter boots grabbed her coat and started walking down the hall when she was at the door she stopped and started to button up her coat. As she walked outside she reached into her pocket grabbing both her scarf and earmuffs making sure both where snug and comfortable. The wind was cold but that couldn’t take away from how lovely the evening was, Sonika walked to the entrance of the garden and looked around for a moment. For a while Sonika stood waiting but soon started to wander as she turned the corner the familiar blond figure made her smile “Ann!” she called out braking into a little jog to close the distance between them “I was beginning to think I may have missed you.” She said with a smile.

Sonika gently embraced Ann in a friendly hug "Wouldn't miss it.We never get enough time to just chat. " she pulled herself from the hug and started walking not really knowing where to go. Sonika looked to the same part of sky that Ann was admiring "Yeah it's very nice."she agreed as she adjusted her earmuffs.

Sonika’s face softened ever so slightly as she listened to Ann’s words, it was though she was spinning her words, and creating an image so beautiful that Sonika could barely comprehend it. However never being one to let her feelings get her down she put on a bit of a derpy smile and slid right up to Ann “ You bet” Sonika gave a some giggle. Striating herself she looked forward enjoying the few of the pine trees Sonika paused for a moment thinking of how to say just what was going to come out of her mouth next “So I got a call from the higher up’s last night and apparently have must be doing something right because” she held her breath for a moment, trying not to get chocked up “they booked me a summer tour, in Europe.” She said emotion leaking through her words “So things are looking pretty good on my end of the spectrum. Though I was getting worried for a wile there, my class was toddle flop but, I minored in nursing so I was thinking of taking the schools nursing position when I get back.” She said not really sear about everything that was going on.


OOC((OK sorry if it looks like trying to be dramatic but I really am going away this summer for a internship so I won’t have access to a computer. Just figured I would work that into the story))

Sonika smiled a little more watching to look of disbelief on her friend face “ yeah I know , wasn’t exactly expect it either.” she said scratching the back of her neck. Taken aback by the sudden embrace Sonika felt her cheeks warm a bit in embarrassment, though she happily returned the gesture. Pulling away from the hug Sonika fixed her coat and turned her face to the path they were following “While I really do hope they are seeing all the hard work I have been putting into my music lately, let’s not get to ahead of our self’s. First things first I have no doubt when they say Europe they really mean a few small club’s back home with a one or two stops in France ,Spain or Poland. Secondly as for Asia I really don’t think that’s likely I’m sure the reason they picked Europe is so that they don’t have to pay for my logging, ill just stay with Dad.” She said holding her chin .

Sonika continued to walk for a few steps but quickly found herself stopping again “Also most importantly I could never forget any of you no matter how hard I tried, you guys are like family. I really mean it too having you, Al and the all others behind me really helps me stay on course. I’d be lost without you all beside me.”She said with a smile and started walking down the path again. Despite her efforts to calm herself down Sonika was still shaking with anticipation. Zero-G had never even looked at her before and now they were giving her a chance to show them what she could do. Even though it was a small, it was still a chance to grasp something beyond herself.

Sonika walked along Ann gently bumped shoulders with her “I’m sure I’ll be just fine. So yeah that what’s going on, on my side of things? ” she said scratching the tip of her nose . Sonika eyes fell to the ground her foot finding a small pebble and she her broad smile had waned to a more content one “so yeah sorry if that was bit much to dump on you, I just couldn't keep it in any longer.” she said kicking the pebble.

Sonika cracked a smile “Is this the part when we gaze into each other’s eyes and start dancing about?” Sonika joked light heartedly. Giggling softly Sonika sped up a bit, turned and started walking backwards “ Count me in Oliver is such a sweet boy.”she said swaying a bit on her heals.

Letting Ann catch up Sonika once again walked by Ann’s side “Hey Ann. I know what you ,mean I’ll miss you all too, but I’ll only be gone a few mouths and I’ll write you all when I can. Also If I do good then I’m sure they’ll start to see just how good we really are. Maybe this can be a bit of a turning point for us.” She said as both her and Ann came up to the pinetum.

The smell of pine filled the air as Sonika and Ann walked into the pinetum, Sonika took a moment and breathed deeply taking in the fresh sweet air. Sonika was awaked from her little moment when Ann spoke “Oh I’m not leaving right now I won’t leave till the end of the semester. However some hot tea sounds brilliant right about now.” She said rubbing her hands together. Sonika watched Ann tug at her hair “ Is everything ok Ann , I haven’t brought you to down have I?” she said with a pleading smile as they walked on the brush of trees became thicker.
