Shunkan no Hagane Flash flood of flying steel

___Description: The Shunkan no Hagane style uses blades of all sizes to mold the flow of battle to the user’s will. This style is a modern adaptation of traditional weaponry practices, taking the facets from the traditional styles themselves and applying them to more recent situations. As such many of the moves can be executed with a variety of bladed weapons. The techniques can also be used with blunted and training versions of bladed weapons, but the techniques in the style lose the majority of their piercing and slicing power.
The Instant of Steel style originated in a peninsula to the northeast of the Water Country and drifted slowly toward the Western lands and their Hidden Villages. Many of the practitioners gained fame through formal sparring tournaments, and as such the name of the style has yet to gain the fame that some others have; only those who actively watch or participate frequently in contests know of the practitioners and their abilities. Unfortunately, the style is hard to adapt in earlier stages for use in sudden battles, and is mostly used in duels. However, it is incredibly useful in almost any battle once higher levels are mastered, as the basic techniques become much stronger and faster.
___Notes: • “Finesse” refers to the ability to execute movements without excess damage, as in fine-point striking.
___S t a g e O n e [1] ○ Basic Chop Simple :: E-Rank An overhead vertical strike meant as an offensive technique. Very basic, but it is a very powerful strike.
○ Forward Step Simple :: E-Rank A single step or series of steps forward, meant to add a great deal of power to offensive attacks. While it is quick, it is still one of the slower movements in the Style.
○ Backward Step Simple :: E-Rank A single step or series of steps backward, meant as an escape or evasion technique. While it is quick, it is still one of the slower movements of the style, and it is mostly used as a positioning technique.
○ Basic Stab Simple :: E-Rank The basic stab used in most blade styles. It is a plain forward thrust with the blade, meant to pierce skin and cause damage to the main body.
○ Basic Block Simple :: E-Rank The set of basic upper- and lower-blocks used with swords and other bladed weapons. It works best on the basic offensive chops and slices.
___S t a g e T w o [2] ○ Pivot Block Simple :: D-Rank The user pivots on the forward leg and deflects an incoming attack with their blade, setting them up for a highly effective counterattack. In addition, this movement sets the user up for a highly effective disarming technique, or even a throwing movement. • Basic Block learned.
○ Forward Grind Simple :: D-Rank After blocking an incoming attack or after the opponent’s block, with the blade of choice, the user grinds his or her blade toward the opponent on the blocked weapon. This movement closes the distance between the user and the opponent while forcing the target’s weapon to remain still. • Basic Block learned.
○ Deflection One Simple :: D-Rank In the early stages of an opponent’s Taijutsu or Kenjutsu attack, the user raises his or her blade and slightly alters the course of the incoming attack so that it misses, allowing for a quick counterattack by the user. • Basic Block learned.
○ Disarming One Simple :: D-Rank The user aims for a point just beyond the focal point of the opponent’s weapon of choice, be it metal or flesh, and gently guides his or her blade to that point. After it has reached this point, the user redirects the weapon away from the opponent, causing it to slip out of the target’s grasp. • Basic Stab learned.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] ○ Calligraphy Simple :: C-Rank A series of fine-point stabs and slices resembling calligraphy strokes. The wounds they inflict are shallow, but very painful and debilitating. • Basic Stab, Deflection One learned.
○ Extension Simple :: C-Rank A technique that relies on the user’s skill with blades being more than that of a normal person’s. By swinging firmly and quickly, the air around the user’s blade shears and sharpens; this makes an incredibly powerful attack that can strike slightly farther than the blade seems possible of reaching. In essence, this attack cuts a few inches farther than the blade can reach. • Basic Stab, Deflection One learned.
○ Thread Walking One Simple :: C-Rank Utilizing their new balance, the user can now walk on threads and wires without much difficulty and without chakra.
○ Solid Footing Simple :: C-Rank When on the ground the user becomes incredibly difficult to throw off of his or her footing, in or out of stance.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] ○ Swordslinger Simple :: B-Rank The rapid changing and using of blades during a battle has become recently known as “swordslinging” within the martial world due to its resemblance to certain methods of using long-range weaponry. Within the Shunkan no Hagane style, however, this is a technique taken very seriously, and as such it is only given to those who have mastered the style up to this Stage and have experience using at least five weapons. The technique involves rapidly unsheathing, attacking, and sheathing weapons without pause, constantly changing mode and form of attack, and results in the user’s ability to use techniques without any extra physical cost. • Extension, Calligraphy practiced using at least five other bladed weapons.
○ Illusory Double Simple :: B-Rank A close range attack, the user goes for a direct stab at the opponent. By pulling the blade slightly back immediately afterward, the user can then strike another nearby point very shortly after the first strike. This technique is fast enough that those who are of the same rank as the user cannot see the second strike. • Basic Stab.
○ Sensory Information Simple :: B-Rank A passive technique that allows the user to judge the location of an incoming object or person, but not the direction it is moving in, based on sounds and disturbances made in the environment.
○ Twin Blade Simple :: B-Rank Due to the user’s strength, the air around the blade sharpens similar to the Extension technique. However, due to the user’s speed and proficiency with blades, the air blade hits after the actual blade with enough force to crack or shatter most blades. • Calligraphy, Extension learned.
○ Brush Stroke Simple :: B-Rank A series of quick cuts that eclipse the Calligraphy technique in both speed and depth, but are much more difficult to work with. The cuts now pierce all the way through muscles, and can cut in to bone. This technique can only be seen by people with a speed rank higher than the user’s own. • Calligraphy learned.
○ Hydra Strike Simple :: B-Rank An enhancement of the Twin Blade. Instead of only one additional strike, the user can now launch several in a row without any loss in speed or power. • Twin Blade learned.
○ Disarming Two Simple :: B-Rank The user aims for the point just beyond the focal point of the opponent’s weapon of choice, be it metal or flesh, and swings strongly for that point. Once the user’s blade connects, the opponent’s blade breaks in two and the hilt of the blade is sent flying. If the opponent holds on to his or her blade too strongly, the bone fingers in the hand(s) holding on to the hilt crack.
○ Deflection Two Simple :: B-Rank In the early stages of an opponent’s Taijutsu or Kenjutsu attack, the user raises his or her blade and alters the course of the incoming attack so that it is rendered useless, allowing for a quick counterattack by the user.
○ Advance of Steel Simple :: B-Rank A very quick forward movement that doubles the strength and effectiveness of all offensive and defensive techniques and makes them very difficult to dodge by anyone of the user’s speed rank or lower.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] ○ Shearing Simple :: A-Rank The user, because of the large amount of training he or she has now completed, can now operate blades with such speed and ease that the air begins to shear along the edges of the weapons when they are used, extending their range by almost a foot on all bladed sides. This effect lasts for ten posts. • Extension learned.
○ Thread Walking Two Simple :: A-Rank The user is now able to both run and fight while balancing on threads and wires, though doing these things at the same time is widely regarded as totally infeasible. • Thread Walking One Learned
○ Crescent Block Simple :: A-Rank A circular block meant to serve as an all purpose defensive technique. By catching the incoming attack and carrying it in a circular path on the blade edge, the user gains a great amount of control over the opposing weapon, enough to be able to drive it in to the ground or to easily disarm the opponent without the need for extra techniques or movements. In addition, this technique has great cutting power against soft weapons such as arms, legs, and anything made out of wood or bamboo. • Basic Block.
○ Defense of Steel Simple :: A-Rank A powerful defensive technique that is capable of nullifying elemental Ninjutsu up to C-Rank. By performing any appropriate block while Shearing is active, the user can slice through an incoming attack without his or her blade ever touching it. This technique works by shearing the material in the path of the blade, dispersing energy and matter in to the surrounding landscape. This defense is extremely effective against carried weapons of all types. Must be using a metal blade. • All Stage Three and Stage Four techniques, Shearing learned.
___S t a g e S i x [6] ○ Final Words Simple :: S-Rank A passive technique whereby the user can accurately judge the distance, location, and speed of an incoming object or person based on the sounds made and the disturbances made in the environment. • All techniques prior to this Stage learned.
○ Vorpal Blade Simple :: S-Rank A passive technique that forces the user’s blade to act as if it were twice as sharp as it actually is. This makes it easy to carve through armor even without the use of techniques that do so, and those techniques become potent enough to slice through heavy armors. • All techniques prior to this Stage learned.
○ Movement of Steel Simple :: S-Rank An unbelievably quick movement technique that has a speed that totally eclipses that of the Body Flicker Technique, with the same range. However, it is difficult to control and can only be used in one direction at a time. This technique creates an after-image where the user had been standing. • All techniques prior to this Stage learned.
○ Offense of Steel Complex :: S-Rank From the ready position, the user swings the blade he or she has chosen at a given target, sending a wave of energy in the direction of the swing that slices anything it hits in the way that the blade would. The technique starts out with a range of 5 meters, but increases by another 3 meters for every rank of speed added to it. This means that a Genin using this technique would only have a range of 5 meters, but that a Kage would be able to hit something 18 meters away. • All techniques prior to this Stage learned.
○ Instant of Steel Complex :: S-Rank A change to the physical state that doubles the speed of all blade techniques and halves the user’s reaction time. This state lasts for ten posts. • All techniques prior to this Stage learned.

Sobagai Deba Sentou Close quarters knife combat
___Description: The Sobagai Deba Sentou is a close combat countering weapon / body style. Utilizing reaction time and handling. Using only a simple combat knife and precision, practitioners can swiftly counter weapon and body techniques from various framed opponents. This bukijutsu style is typically used as a secondary style, usually when the practitioner's main weapon is knocked away or destroyed; or their other attempts at combat prove fruitless.
___Notes: • Sobagai Deba Sentou contains various techniques branded with the type "Practice." When these techniques are learned, they become passive benefits for the practitioner. • "Practice" techniques are learned as if Simple techniques of the same rank. • Each stage of this style grants a slight increase in agility and speed.
___S t a g e O n e [1] Countering Technique: Upward Repel Simple :: Rank E When the enemy attack closes in, the user will repel with the knife with an upward slashing motion. This upward repel may have enough exerting force to startle or offset the enemy.
Offensive Technique: Assisted Jab Complex :: Rank E Channeling chakra into the wielding hand, the user will stab with the hilt of his blade. The end result is a powerful blunt jab that can wind the target if it connects correctly.
Offensive Style: Knife Stances Practice :: Rank E The user becomes more accustomed to upward, downward, and sideways slashing motions. Increasing the speed in which they can perform by a moderate margin. ( speed sharply increased )
Offensive Style: Simple Play Practice :: Rank E With this practice, the user is able to more comfortably switch between upward, downward, and sideways slashing motions in a pinch.
___S t a g e T w o [2] Countering Technique: Back Repels Simple :: Rank D A hasty knife repel mainly used to confuse the enemy. After an attack has been parried upward, the user will throw his knife upward, meanwhile spinning around the enemy's side to get into position to catch the knife as it falls.
Trick Technique: Change of Hands Simple :: Rank D During any freestyle form of vertical or horizontal slashes, the user will perform a simple pass, switching their knife from one hand to the other. Consecutive usage can result in a massive amount of confusion and inescapable slashing barrages.
Trick Technique: Kneecap Surprise Simple :: Rank D The user will begin by performing a simple combination of horizontal slashes, often ending in [ Change of Hands. ] At any point during this chain of cuts, the user will steady their movement, and rather than continue with their previous slashes, flip and toss the knife into the opponent's leg. Often stabbing into the kneecap, or busting it with a powerful hilt impact.
Offensive Technique: Swift Dart Complex :: Rank D Channeling chakra to his hand, then the knife, the user tosses his blade at a decently increased speed, while the chakra causes it to pierce the air- making almost no noise.
Trick Style: Knife Toss Practice :: Rank D The practitioner has developed a greater sense of precision- able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the hilt with ease. ( Only by the hilt, not the tip of the blade. )
Offensive Style: Artless Draw Practice :: Rank D The practitioner has better developed their ability to pull their blade straight from its resting place to an offensive slash.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Trick Technique: Knife Punt Simple :: Rank C A very tricky yet powerful attack that can often end a fight on the spot. After dropping an enemy's defenses, often by parrying one of their attacks, the user will drop his knife. As the knife drops, the practitioner will time a kick in order to punt the knife upward- back into the opponent's exposed body. If truly successful, the knife will typically end up somewhere in the head of the enemy.
Trick Technique: Dirty Reflection Simple :: Rank C Given proper conditions, the user will angle their knife as to reflect sunlight into the enemy's eyes. Although it seems like a meager act that anyone could do, this training is solely for the purpose of precision- teaching the user how to tilt their blade in such a way as to reflect a focused amount of light.
Offensive Technique: Vital Poke Complex :: Rank C The user builds up chakra in a freehand, then surges it to the finger tips of the same hand, causing a very thin and short ranged aura to form. From here, the user will attempt to poke the target in the stomach, chest, upper arm, or upper leg. If connection is properly made, the opponent will feel as though they have just been internally stabbed. Although contact at the stomach or chest causes more damage, a solid stab to the arm or leg can cripple the opponent's usage of said limb.
Offensive Style: Two-fer-One Practice :: Rank C The practitioner is now accustomed to performing techniques they have mastered with either one or two knives.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Piercing Technique: What Defense? Simple :: Rank B While assaulting a blocking enemy, the user will attempt to outreach and grasp their arm. If successful, the user will then pull in the enemy's arm, while kicking outward with incredible force. Because of the contradiction of motions, this can easily break arms or disarm the target.
Disrupting Technique: Tingling Elbow Complex :: Rank B After breaking through an opponent's defense, typically via a parry, the user will deliver a powerful chakra-enhanced elbow strike to their head or sternum. As the elbow makes contact with the target, the built up chakra will be dispersed all at once- rushing to certain muscles to momentarily disrupt them. For a short amount of time, the opponent will then be unable to move their limbs, no matter what signals the brain gives to them.
Trick Style: Retreating Feet Practice :: Rank B The practitioner, already frequented by many techniques in the style, has finally realized that with a little bit of personal training, they are able to increase the precision and speed at which they lift and press their feet. This not only assists their ability to sneak up on people faster and quieter, but also helps when running from trackers.
Trick Style: Blade's Edge Practice :: Rank B The practitioner has developed an even greater sense of precision- able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the tip with ease. Additionally, some projectiles, such as shuriken or kunai, can be caught by their tip.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Countering Technique: Oopsie and Over Simple :: Rank A As an enemy attempts to deliver a straight forward attack, typically a punch or lunge, the user will grab the enemy's arm, and twist. Then, making use of their superior footwork and agility, leap overhead while still holding the arm, sufficiently causing severe pain, broken bones, or popped sockets.
Disrupting Technique: Severe Acupuncture Complex :: Rank A The user forms a powerful chakra aura around a knife, causing it to become lost in a haze, no longer appearing as an object, merely a flaming sharp shape in the user's hand. From here, the user will attempt to deliver a powerful hilt slam to one of the target's limbs. If contact is made with an arm or leg, it will cause said limb to go limp. However, if contact is made with the head, it will send a powerful surge throughout the body that renders the target immobile for some time. (2 - 4 posts)
Offensive Style: Stepless Practice :: Rank A The practitioner has become so used to performing quick and silent steps that they scarcely realize that they themselves are moving. Footsteps are almost utterly silent.
___S t a g e S i x [6] Offensive Technique: Should Height Simple :: Rank A The user will attempt to position themself atop their enemy's shoulders, legs wrapped around the neck. From here, the user will simply attempt to twist their legs, snapping the neck; or if they're feeling gory, stab into the enemy's trapped head.
Offensive Technique: Cutting and Crumbling Simple :: Rank A A quick technique in which the user draws their knife close to their wrist, then closes the distance with their target, and attempts to deliver two powerful blows to the enemy's sides. The user will perform horizontal chops inward on the enemy, the two blows together resulting in a good amount of external damage, in addition to stun.
Disrupting Technique: False Signals Complex :: Rank S The user channels chakra into their knife causing it blur out just as in [ Severe Acupuncture, ] before attempting to stab deep into the target's upper torso. As the knife digs into the enemy's chest, the chakra stored within it leaks throughout, tampering with pathways both physical and spiritual. So long as the knife remains in the enemy, all signals sent to the body are disrupted and sent to different places- a command to move the legs may result in a twitch of the nose, a request to clutch the fist could result in straight kick, and a jump could be the usage of an elemental technique, who knows? Even after the knife has been removed, the disruption still has some effect. ( 1 - 3 posts. )
Defensive Style: Plucking Roses Practice :: Rank S The practitioner is so well developed in their art that they are now able to snatch shuriken, kunai, senbon, and other such projectiles straight from the air.
Offensive Style: Mistborn Stepping Practice :: Rank S Silent, swift, and sharp. The practitioner is able to creep about at a decent pace while making close to zero noise.

Shigure Souen A legacy of greatness and evolution.
___D e s c r i p t i o n: This technique originated with one man, and like a family tree, it grew. As the technique was passed down, the more the tree grew. It is common for a generation to add a new form to the Shigure Souen. This is a sword style that varies, depending on who your master was. Thus, there could be many different variations of the Shigure Souen Style.
The Shigure Souen Style is a notoriously deadly sword style that is only passed down to worthy successors. Each 'form' of the style is only shown once to the student - if the student is worthy to succeed, he only needs to see it once to remember how to use it from then on. It originally only had one form that was passed down through generations of successors with each successor creating and adding their own forms resulting in many branches of Shigure Souen Style. However, as new forms were created, the weaker branches deteriorate, and others disappear as there is no worthy successor; hence, this style can be called the perfect, flawless style.

Hyou Kin Dama [ Leopard Golden Ball ] Rank: A :: Complex Description: The user jumps forward while spinning in the air, forming a ball shape with his blades. This is basically a feinting maneuver, so even if the target manages to read the pattern of this attack and move out of the users trajectory, they will still be cut by the Chakra that is emitting from the blades that are sharpened to where they feel like the tip of a blade. • Can be charged with an Element of the users choice for an additional [20] Chakra. Ex: Katon, Suiton.
Santoryu Ougi Sanzen Sekai [ Ultimate Three Swords: Three Thousand Worlds ] Rank: A :: Simple Description:The user holds two of his/her swords at an angle against each other and spins them while running towards his/her opponent which will shred the enemy to bits. According to the name of this attack, this is the ultimate and strongest technique of the Santoryu. • Requires all previous techniques learned. • No post reductions applicable.
___S t a g e ○ S i x [6] Kyutoryu [ Nine-sword Style ] Rank: S :: Sword Style Description: The final sword-mastery step in the Cursed Three, the Kyutoryu. Unlike the previous, more physical focused sword-masteries, the Kyutoryu is more energy-centered, due to the large amounts of chakra the final techniques consume. • Confers a passive +100 chakra boost. • Double the post requirement to learn.
Kiki - Kyutoryu - Asura [ Demon Spirit - Nine Swords Style - Asura ] Rank: S :: Complex Description: The technique that allows the user to use Kyutoryu. While being relentlessly attacked, the user's anger and frustration manifests itself from a dark aura emanating from themselves into a being with six arms and three heads known as an Asura. The full activation of this technique actually causes the ground to darken several meters diameter from where the user stands and blow a gust of wind from the user. He then motions his arms upward leaving behind to sets of arms and each time the arms manifest so does the head coming from both right and left. This is used by creating Kage Bushin [ Shadow Clone ] that do not leave your own body. • Can only be used twice per battle. Asura Ichibugin [ Asura One Mist Silver ] Rank: S :: Complex Description: The user holds the swords so the blades are pointing towards the victim, the user leaps towards them slashing them with all nine of his swords at once afterwords ending in a position where all the swords are held in a way to make them look like they're fanning out. This technique has enough force to rip through a small house because of the Chakra emitting from each blade. • Can only be used twice per battle.
Asura Makyuusen [ Asura Demon Nine Flash ] Rank: S :: Complex Description: The user makes use of chakra to propel himself at the target with great speed, enough to where he leaves behind an afterimage of himself. As the image fades the user presents themselves right in front of the foe and begins to slash them up using all nine swords and ends with a stance where all nine swords are in a wheel shape. The wound is similar in shape to the sword stance. Leaves the user exhausted, as well as placing great strain on the joints. • Can only be used once per battle. • Requires 18 posts to learn.

Hakyoku-ken no Kata Destruction reaped in a single sweep
___D e s c r i p t i o n: Hakyoku-ken no Kata, or Style of the Catastrophe Blade, is an extremely powerful and wide style of swordsmanship not often practiced by shinobi. Because it was traditionally used by feudal soldiers, the use of the style by shinobi was truly unheard of. However, as time progressed, the usefulness of this art was remembered, and the workings of Hakyoku-Ken no Kata have been reconfigured to better suit the lighter framed warriors of this era. Designated as one of the most rigorous and difficult to master Bukijutsu in the world; those of the Hakyoku-Ken no Kata are rare. Finding a shinobi able to make use of such a style are ever more scarce. The reason for this is because of the basis of the style- Massive, unorthodox, and heavy weapons.
___N o t e s: • Complex Techniques require [1] extra post to learn. • Requires a heavy two-handed weapon. • Each stage mastered accrues a slight boost to strength.
___S t a g e O n e [1] Ju Suto [ Heavy Smash ] Simple :: Rank E The practitioner lugs their massive weapon over their shoulder in a single slow, yet powerful, vertical strike.
Soin [ Sweep ] Simple :: Rank E The practitioner drags their weapon against the ground; by utilizing a quick pivot turn, the user performs a hasty radial slash. Because of the weapon, the inexperienced have a difficult time stopping themselves.
___S t a g e T w o [2] Sasu [ Stab ] Simple :: Rank D By bringing the pommel of their weapon to their stomach, the user keeps their center of gravity low, and lunges out with both arms- performing a quick yet powerful poke. The inexperienced will likely stumble.
Houyou no Yochi [ Earth's Embrace ] Complex :: Rank D The practitioner slams his weapon into the ground, creating a one yard radial shock wave of chakra. Not meant to make contact on its own; this shock wave can make even the surest of footing crumble. Allowing for an easy follow through technique to a wobbling opponent.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Saidai Shinpuku [ Upwards Swing ] Simple :: Rank C The practitioner places the tip of their weapon to the ground, then pulls upward with all the might they can muster. Although extremely powerful and rather swift, an inexperienced user is left open after performing the technique.
Hiki [ Saw ] Simple :: Rank C The practitioner takes their weapon into a single hand, rising the opposite arm to rest the majority of the weight. The user then performs a swift sidestep and attempts to hack at their opponent with a single hard rising vertical strike. Because of the balancing of the weapon against their arm, this technique is extremely fast and offers only a minor window of opportunity for the opponent as it ends.
Taikutsuna Sutoraiki [ Dull Blade ] Complex :: Rank C The practitioner entrusts their weapon with chakra and then performs an empty swing. When he sees fit, the user stops mid-swing, causing the chakra to fling off in a sharp snap. • Max range: 10 yards.
Nibui Sasu [ Blunt Stab ] Complex :: Rank C The practitioner entrusts their weapon with chakra and then performs an empty stab. When he sees fit, the user stops mid-stab, causing the chakra to fling off in a sharp snap. • Max range: 12 yards. • Learned when [ Taikutsuna Sutoraiki ] is learned.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Tetsu Rakka [ Iron Drop ] Simple :: Rank B The practitioner musters all their might, and with a hard kick, leaps high overhead. Rearranging their position, the user will then dive back down with their massive weapon ready to pierce through or crush their target.
Bakuyaku Ugoki [ Explosive Movement ] Complex :: Rank B A technique developed by shinobi in order to remove the weight burden of their weapon for a brief moment. By placing a hefty amount of chakra to their lower half, the user fortifies and strengthens their muscles- No longer will it feel as though they are lugging around a weapon that could easily be the same weight as they are. However, because of its mechanics, this technique is not meant to be used for long durations. The strengthening of the muscles allows the user to make a quick dash or leap in order to close great distances. Nothing more. Hayai Ugoki [ Swift Movement ] Complex :: Rank B An alteration of [ Bakuyaku Ugoki ]. The practitioner applies the same method of chakra reinforcement, but rather than allow it to fade out in a single burst, they further mold the chakra in order to hold it in place. For a short amount of time, the user will able to move around as if they were completely free of their weapon or armor's weight burden. • Lasts [5] posts.
Nobi Ken [ Stretching Blade ] Complex :: Rank B As if the length of the practitioner's giant weapon wasn't long enough; this technique was developed to further increase the reach of such weapons. By pressing chakra to their pommel, the user manifests a skin over their weapon. This skin will stretch around the entire weapon granting an additional five or six inches of length in addition to added chakra damage. At any point during the duration of this technique, the user is able to cast off the chakra skin like a projectile slash. • Lasts [4] posts.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Kazetetsu [ Iron Wind ] Simple :: Rank A It may seem trivial, but the accurate flinging of a massive weapon is actually a difficult method to master. Though, with enough training such a feat can be achieved, and the practitioner will be able to toss their weapon with incredible precision and force.
Danzetsu no Konki [ Break Off Of Energy ] Complex :: Rank A By infusing chakra to their weapon, the user will create a skin of their respective chakra color which wraps around and reinforces in its entirety. With this modified blade, the user is able to cut through one projectile ninjutsu of any rank. • Can only be used twice per battle.
Danzetsu Hei [ Break Off Wall ] Complex :: Rank A Mimicking [ Danzetsu no Konki ], the user will wrap a skin around their weapon. However, rather than attempt to slice through an incoming attack, they will slam their weapon to the ground; creating a breaking point for the oncoming technique. • Learned when [ Danzetsu no Konki ] is learned. • Can only be used twice per battle.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Oufuu [ Cross Wind ] Simple :: Rank S The practitioner swings their weapon in an odd twisting pattern, and at such an alarming speed that it disturbs the air around it; sending out a wide burst of wind to peel enemies from their sturdy footing. The cut in air's continuity also reduces or utterly breaks attacks that depend on the air to be in solid form.
Tetsu Jiten [ Iron Spin ] Simple :: Rank S While keeping their center of gravity low, the user performs a chain of horizontal swings while on their heels. This continual motion results in the user resembling a massive and mobile spinning top of death. It should be noted that after excessive usage (3-5 posts), the user will be dizzied nearly as long as they were performing the attack.
Tetsu Kawase [ Iron Exchange ] Complex :: Rank S When faced with a projectile ninjutsu attack, the user will slam their blade into the ground. Feeding it a quick burst of chakra, the user causes the weapon to "catch" the incoming attack. With a quick kick to the still lodged weapon, the user is able to launch the caught technique to their desired target. • Can only be used once per battle.
Nigiri no Oni [ Ogre's Grip ] Attribute Through their rigorous endeavors with their mighty weapon, the practitioner has developed powerful and toned muscles- mainly on the arms. Because of this impressive development, the user needs only a single hand to wield their massive weapon. • Obtained when all other techniques are learned.

Tetsu no Ryu The heart and steel of a true samurai

___Description: Meaning "Iron Dragon," Tetsu no Ryu is an ancient form of swordsmanship closely tied with Feudal warplay. Born from the Land of Iron are the feared samurai who live there; training countless days and nights to develop a form of swordplay that mirrored their own ferocity. This style has it roots deepened in tradition, discipline, and hard work. It is geared for war, not stealth, and its vast amount of straightforward attacks are self-evident of this. Many of its techniques shine during duels, though they can be applicable most anywhere. Those who practice Tetsu no Ryu are bound to follow the code of Bushido. The virtues of a Bushi are: Rectitude (義, gi) ○ Courage (勇, yuu) ○ Benevolence (仁, jin) ○ Respect (礼, rei) ○ Honesty (誠, makoto) ○ Honor (誉, yo) ○ Loyalty (忠, chuu)
___Notes: • Students of this style are honor bound to follow the tenets of Bushido ( listed above. ) • If a student of this style breaks the tenets of Bushido while actively utilizing this style, their attacks will lack conviction. ( Every attack hits as if it were one rank lower, and complex attacks consume [25] additional chakra. This does not count against your other styles/abilities. ) • Each stage learned grants a slight increase to Reflexes, and Agility
___S t a g e O n e [1] Iaidō Simple :: Rank E With a single unhindered and swift motion, a true samurai can unsheathe his weapon and strike at the exact same time. This can provide an elegant, yet effective way to catch your opponent off guard, or as a means to interrupt handsigns. Note that this ability only shows true effectiveness upon the drawing of a weapon from its sheathe. Losing some of its element of surprise after being used once and then resheathed. ( This attack's rank mimics whatever stage of Tetsu no Ryu you are in. For example, if you are in Stage 5, this technique is considered rank A. )
A Decade of Peace Simple :: Rank E A Decade of Peace is at its core a defensive technique, envisioned in the mind that a true master of the sword need not use his prowess to find peace. This technique allows the user to find, through concentration, the point of their enemy’s own attack, diverting it with a quick stab of their blade below their weapon or limbs, then utilizing the flat of the blade diverts the attack overhead, while their free palm presses against the opponents chest, shoving them away, before sheathing your own blade in the gap provided. This technique can be easily paired with a number of jutsu to escape battle, or as bait to enrage your opponent.
Ryūtsuisen [ Dragon Hammer Strike ] Simple :: Rank E The "Dragon Hammer" is a sword-drop technique delivered from above, targeting the crown of the head or the shoulder of the adversary. The key to the technique lays in the momentum gained from the user’s jump and the free-fall, which is applied to the sword to multiply the force of the sword-stroke.
___S t a g e T w o [2] Ryūtsuisen: Zan [ Dragon Hammer Strike: Tragedy ] Simple :: Rank D A brutal variation of the origin, Zan utilizes a sword impalement or plant, rather than a cross body strike. While this vastly increases the lethality of the move on a general basis it does allow for non-lethal takedowns without using the blunt end of the weapon, as a skilled practitioner can target a specific limb or location to assault.
Turning Swallow Cut Complex :: Rank D Utilizing chaka to stimulate the nervous system, this cut is reputedly so quick and precise that it can strike down a bird in mid-flight. It is a downward strike the flicked back up into an upward strike, both strong enough to effortlessly slice through even the hardest wood.
Chakra Scabbard Complex :: Rank D After mastering two techniques, Iaido and any one other, a student is capable of awakening the true signature of the Tetsu no Ryu. A Samurai's blade becomes rife with pure chakra that crackles and dances around the blade. A blade properly focused is quite capable of cutting through even the thickest steel. • Active until battle ends or turned off. • Increases to Rank C after learning [ Form Manipulation. ] • Increases to Rank B after learning [ Two As One. ] • Chakra cost DOES increase as rank increases.
Twin Dragon Strike Simple :: Rank D Utilizing Iaido, the student of Tetsu no Ryu then follows up with a strike from his scabbard, utilizing the whole of his weapon, instead of just a single piece. This technique is generally utilized to catch an opponent unaware if they dodge the first stroke of the bladed weapon.
Twin Dragon Strike: Lightning Simple :: Rank D This technique does not rely on the utilization of Iaido, as it first strikes with the scabbard of the weapon, using the shock effect of being attacked with an improvised weapon, or the opening that follows an opponent’s dodge to follow the initial strike up with the actual bladed weapon.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Form Manipulation Complex :: Rank C Truly skilled practitioners learn to shape the chakra around their weapon into different shapes. From a lance to a broadsword, anything is possible. However, while anything may be possible some forms will of course be difficult to maintain, requiring extra chakra expenditure. For every dimensional five feet after the first, the jutsu will require an extra ten [10] chakra. • Lasts [10] posts
Pressure Wave Complex :: Rank C When swinging your weapon, you can create a crescent shaped chakra wave, five feet wide by one foot long, that can travel up to about 100ft before dissipating. A hit from it can be as strong or possibly even stronger than a normal blow. Unfortunately- it leaves your katana without a chakra scabbard and you must activate it again. • Max distance: 100ft. • Cannot be reused for a minimum of five [5] posts until Stage Three is mastered. • Can be reused in three [3] posts at Stage Four. • Can be reused in two [2] posts at Stage Five+.
Drying Pole Complex :: Rank C The user extends the tip of their blade with chakra as they thrust. Like a beam of energy, the strike can stretch several extra feet. • Max distance: 8ft.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Hachiware [ Helmet Breaker ] Complex :: Rank B This overhead blow is designed to go THROUGH a person, horse, and armor, all in one blow, by utilizing one’s chakra to actively sharpen the blade of your weapon. However, this fine point chakra manipulation creates crevices in the blade of your weapon, effectively making it useless after the fact, as any parrying blow would cause the rigid workings of the blade to crack entirely. • This technique breaks most normal weapons. • This technique can be blocked by an equal level bukijutsu or broken by Kai. • This technique can only ‘kill’ if the opponent is willing, otherwise it merely wounds/incapacitates if not blocked.
Two As One Complex :: Rank B You are actually able to make two blows at once. A normal sword blow and a chakra saber blow. This second blow is almost impossible to see coming, but can be blocked by a chakra force of the same rank as it disrupts the chakra scabbard’s free movement.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Many as One Complex :: Rank A A complex pattern of blows converge on the target. You may make five [5] blows with the chakra sabers and one with your real sword. All the attacks are real, and they can all pierce your opponent's sword if they are foolish enough to normally block you!
Divine Scabbard Complex :: Rank A In place of your chakra scabbard you are able to substitute pure chakra for whatever element you have an affinity for. • Same notes as [ Chakra Scabbard. ]
___S t a g e S i x [6] Kamikaze [ Divine Wind ] Complex :: Rank S By utilizing a Divine Scabbard as a base, the user prepares (2 posts) additional elemental chakra before performing a powerful stab. This combination of chakra and motion forces a powerful "beam" to be released from the sword. The immediate release of the beam causes a good amount of recoil to the user, often forcing them to a knee. The beam itself has impressive distance, often dispersed only out of sight, or when contact is made with an incredible chakra based defense. The impact of the beam is so devastating that it is often referred to simply as an "undeniable death sentence." Additionally, because the beam is formed of such specific combinations of chakra, it can easily pierce most anything, and prevents the usage of "escape" techniques (substitution and body flicker.) • Does not receive learning reductions. • Consumes one [ Divine Scabbard. ] • Can only be used once per battle. • Requires two [2] posts of preparation. ( Can move, but cannot be interrupted. ) • User receives crippling recoil without additional training.
Serene Absorption Attribute After mastering and being victim to one's own Kamikaze recoil, the practitioner will begin to develop a method to prevent such return damage. Manipulating their stance and force impact, the user attempts to divert such force by pressing and moving chakra into the ground. This is a rather difficult task to accomplish as it is not simply the act of moving chakra from one part of the body to another, but completely pressing it out of the body without having destructive results. Because of this odd requirement, it is recommended that multiple sessions be completed before one is considered having "mastered" this method. • Does not receive learning reductions. • Must use Kamikaze at least three [3] times before beginning this training. • Requires two separate sessions of ten [10] posts to learn. ( At least two day's break between sessions. ) • Almost completely reduces recoil of [ Kamikaze. ]

Juurai Toorima The blade hidden in the night
___Description: Before the nations filled with shinobi, before the feudal lords reigned, before anyone knew what lurked in the shadows, there were ninja. Reliant on their stealth, skill, and their sword, these ninja knew not the exact workings of their vast chakra networks, but they knew very well how to complete their missions. More than just assassins, the ninja of old committed acts of espionage, sabotage, and infiltration. They developed methods to break through or sneak passed obstacles or opponents in order to achieve their main goal. Nothing could stand in the way of a true ninja. These methods were at one point in time chronicled so that future generations would be able to learn their techniques. Although dwindled by time, the list below shows what those passed ninja were capable of.
___Notes: • Smoke pellets used blur chakra singularity, making the network difficult to follow. • The smoke that comes from the smoke pellets is badly affected by the wind. • The smoke that comes from the smoke pellets can be any color.
___S t a g e O n e [1] Tabi Koutai [ Tabi Shift ] Simple :: Rank E An extremely simple yet vital technique in any ninja’s arsenal. Mastery of this action allows the user to make pin point shift and drift movements.
___S t a g e T w o [2] Endan no Jutsu [ Smoke Bomb Technique ] Simple :: Rank D One of the major staples of [ Juurai Toorima ]. The user will begin by drawing a smoke pellet from his person. He will then bring the pellet to his hand, typically between the fingers, and then slam it against a solid surface. The pellet will burst into a decent sized smokescreen, during which the ninja will attack or retreat.
Aseru [ To Fade ] Complex :: Rank D The user will bring a smoke pellet to each hand, twirl them to an easily thrown position, and then slam the two against the surface beneath them. As the smokescreen rises, they will perform a solid handsign, sending a quick surge of chakra throughout their body. In almost an instant, the user will escape any dangerous situation. To simplify, this is like a substitution jutsu that requires a smokescreen rather than an object to change positions with. • Can only be used four [4] times per battle.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Insen [ Hidden Line ] Simple :: Rank C The user will attach a very, very thing wire to a projectile or small object, and toss said projectile as if it were a normal tool. However, they will likely intentionally miss, most likely causing the opponent to scoff or laugh. At any moment during the projectile’s flight, the user will give a light tug on the wire, causing its trajectory to change.
Juu Kousen no Hitojichi [ Hostage of Ten Steel Wires ] Complex :: Rank C The user will throw both of his hands forward; projecting a net of razor steel wires roughly the same width as the user’s body. The user will pump chakra into the wires in order to cause them to wrap around and tie those within the net’s reach. The wire is sharp enough to pierce deep into flesh, but not cut through bone. • Max range 20 yards.
Takoage no Waza [ Art of Kite Flying ] Complex :: Rank C The user will draw a special piece of fabric from their person, placing it between their index and middle fingers. With an infusion of chakra, the fabric will grow in size, becoming the height and width of the original user. After doing so, the user will then grab onto each corner with his hands and feet, outstretching the cloth. Regardless of the user’s weight, this cloth can be used to glide over massive gaps and escape Earthy effects. It should be noted that if the user has Fuuton [ Wind ] elemental chakra, they are able to free fly using this cloth.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Biransei Endan no Jutsu [ Poisonous Smoke Bomb Technique ] Simple :: Rank B A different, far more lethal, variety of smoke pellet. These smoke pellets release a thick purple cloud that causes various bodily effects if one is to inhale it for long consecutive periods. • 1 Post :: Agitated eyes. • 3 Posts :: Exhausted feeling. • 5 Posts :: Unconscious. • 7 Posts :: Death.
Funkei no Jutsu [ Decapitation Technique ] Simple :: Rank B The user will begin by blurring his current position in any way possible, be it by the use of his smoke pellets, or manipulation of the terrain. He will then follow up by tossing multiple smoke pellets at his opponent, in order to disorient them. After this, the user will seemingly disappear, abusing their physical potential to get behind their target. From this position, the user will draw his weapon, and attempt to deliver the final blow.
Zanzou no Jutsu [ Afterimage Technique ] Complex :: Rank B Just as the name would suggest, this technique causes the user to release a good amount of afterimages whenever a quick motion is performed. • Lasts [5] posts.
Gisou no Waza [ Art of Camouflage ] Complex :: Rank B The user will begin by drawing a trio of smoke pellets from his person, and tossing them against the ground. As the smokescreen rises, the user performs a string of handsigns and allows his chakra to lie dormant. As the smokescreen dissipates, the user will have seemingly faded. His chakra signature, and his very being seemingly gone in a poof of smoke. For a short amount of time, the user is free to move in an active camouflage style of stealth. • Lasts [3] posts.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Yogiri no Gufuu [ Tornado of the Night Fog ] Simple :: Rank A The user will release black smoke bombs to surround his position, blurring his starting point. He will then rotate wildly on a single foot, causing the black smokescreen to circle around him in a whirlwind pattern. While wrapped in the twisting smoke and wind, the user will attempt to ram a target, hitting them with their body and any weapons they may have protruding from them. It should be noted that if the user has Fuuton [ Wind ] elemental chakra, this technique is [ Complex ] and the damage is increased a good amount.
Izumi Hanshoku Meimu [ Fountain Multiply Illusion ] Complex :: Rank A The user holds a single handsign, generating focus points all over his body. After doing so, the user is capable of emitting up to six projections of himself from these focus points at any given time. These images are capable of mimicking one non-offensive action from the user, such as dodging or jumping, making them appear to be much more physical than they are. It should also be noted that these images can phase through solid objects.
___S t a g e S i x [6] Ken Ato Ken [ Blade After Blade ] Complex :: Rank S The user takes his weapon from its holster, holds it close to him, focuses his mind, and then performs a chain of long, yet linked slashes and stabs. In other words, this is a technique that causes the user to enter a free style combination mode, allowing him to execute perfectly connected attack after attack after attack. If an enemy somehow manages to consistently block the user's attacks, the match will typically then be determined by whoever runs out of stamina or makes the first mistake.
Mokuhi [ Keep Silent ] Attribute The ninja has come to realize the fruits of his efforts. His training has finally paid off, and whether he realizes it or not, his footsteps no longer make noise, no matter what surface he walks on. However, running still makes a very, very light patter. • Obtained when all techniques are learned.

Honshi Art Death from afar
___Description: For hundreds of years people have been using all sorts of weapons to gain the upper hand on their opponent, however, every generation one weapon seems to stick out like a sore thumb. At one point in history, the ability to attack an opponent from afar meant certain victory; the weapons that would perform this tasks would sometime later be known as projectiles. It may seem simple, aim and toss, but the ability to use these methods while in combat, and with extreme precision is in fact extremely complicated. These projectile weapons would eventually be utilized by shinobi, modified with their own special abilities and unique contribution of chakra, making them ever more deadly.
___Notes: • Projectiles used must be of light or medium weight • Each stage learned gives a slight increase to both Flexibility and Agility
___S t a g e O n e [1] Dart Simple :: Rank E Although it seems somewhat idiotic, this technique can prove useful in a pinch. The user will take their projectile, hold it in a different position than normal, and let it loose as though it were thrown with normal focus and aim.
___S t a g e T w o [2] Pair Simple :: Rank D The user will begin by placing two of their projectiles between their fingers, then wave their hand outward, releasing their grip on both; ultimately resulting in a trick shot with their normal focus and aim.
Three of a Kind Simple :: Rank D The user will begin by placing three of their projectiles between their fingers, they will then swing their arm outward, releasing their grip on the weaponry. The result is a triple shot with the user's normal focus and aim.
Twin Aces Complex :: Rank D The user will begin by placing two of their projectiles between their fingers, followed by a quick insertion of chakra to their hand. They will then wave out their hand, releasing their grip on both projectiles, resulting in a trick shot with their normal focus and aim, additionally, the injected chakra will wrap the flung projectiles, increasing their speed.
Calling Cord Complex :: Rank D Very similar to the shinobi method of puppet control, this technique is performed by attaching lines of chakra to up to five projectiles and then releasing and retracting them. However, unlike the puppet strings, these lines of chakra can be cut, and are not very maneuverable.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Trick Full House Complex :: Rank C The user will begin by placing four of their projectiles between their fingers, and a single in their grip, they will follow by encrusting their hand with chakra, and then place it to their forehead as they gather focus. At the users discretion, the projectiles will be flung with increased focus and aim, upon impact with any surface, all five projectiles will erupt causing a yard diameter explosion and moderate damage.
Retracting Line Complex :: Rank C An addition to the technique [ Calling Cord ]. By forcing an additional surge of chakra into the strings wrapped around the projectiles, the user is able to briefly control the length, and movement of the strings. Thus, allowing for a much more diverse angle of attacking or retracting.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Manipulating Line Complex :: Rank B An addition to the technique [ Calling Cord ]. By laying a good amount of additional chakra into the strings wrapped around the projectiles, the user is able to fully control the length, direction, and movement of the strings. Thus, allowing for incredibly diverse attacks from all angles.
Hidden Stash Complex :: Rank B A special technique favored by shinobi who often use their weaponry in barrage formations. After bringing out a small scroll, the user will perform the needed handsigns, then press one hand against the open paper. The user's hand will seep through the paper as if it were water, then retract with the desired amount of projectiles. Because the user must continue to reach into the scroll, this technique is typically only used when they are completely out of ammunition. Additionally- each scroll contains only 20 kunai, 25 shuriken, and 30 senbon. • Can only activate one scroll per battle. • Scroll only works one way (Can only draw projectiles from it, you cannot place more inside of it).
» Scroll Projection Complex :: Rank D A rather useful technique that can only be performed after releasing the effects of [ Hidden Stash]. The user will turn the scroll so that the draw point is facing their target, they will then press their palm against the back of the paper and surge chakra through their flattened hand. As the chakra moves through their hand, the user will cause the projectile contents of the scroll to fly out in the aimed direction. • Obtained when [ Hidden Stash ] is learned.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Bent Arsenal Simple :: Rank A The user will begin by drawing the desired amount of projectiles into their hand. They will then skillfully toss each projectile, one-by-one, at their target. However, there is a twist... a literal one! Each projectile is flung in such a way that they will arch at a certain point, causing most shinobi to evade right into the projectile's path.
Secret Stash Complex :: Rank A This is nothing more than an addition to the technique [ Hidden Stash ]. Instead of only being able to use one scroll per battle, the practitioner can now use three.
___S t a g e S i x [6] Explosive Arsenal Complex :: Rank S The user will begin by drawing a projectile into their hand, they will then inject it with a good amount of chakra. At the whim of the user, they will fling the weapon at an incredible speed- the projectile itself leaving an afterimage trail. At any point during its travel, the user can snap, causing the enhanced projectile to explode. A five yard radial blast, dealing roughly the same damage as a [ B Rank ] fireball Ninjutsu. • Rather than costing [160] chakra to perform, each projectile enhanced costs [30] chakra.

Akira Style Hidden,Fan,Deadly

Description: The Akira Style is elegant, made for faster fighters than it is for strength. Based upon dance like combos that increase speed while using blade like fans, the Akira style is light and requires a deep focus to fully master. Balanced steps and sharp reflexes are a must. Users of this style are abnormally well balanced, and rarely can be knocked down. Their movement is light, but quick flowing.
Rules: • Akira techniques are performed in stages, as thus, only certain moves can be done in each stage • After learning a Stance, the user learns all techniques in that stage. • Users must be of small body frames • This style gives a slight increase to both agility and flexibility for each stage learned.
Stage One: D-Ranked
Description: Akira- Speed: The most basic of all stances, movements are simple and often revolve around solid foot movements with watery arm gestures. The user begins with both legs together and their arms to their side… Abilities: none Graduation Requirements: Requires 10 Posts Of Training / Meditation In This Stance Techniques: ○ The First Akira: Blade Description: The user’s hands come up to elbow height and are then extended outward until straight. Fan(s) are then flicked open, and the user cuts quickly with a backhanding motion.
○ The First Akira: Motion Description: The user presses their weight to a leg, leans forward, and sweeps with the opposite, knocking most off balance
○ The First Akira: React Description: With fans open, the user crosses their arms across their chest, forming an ‘X’ slash. With a simplistic motion, the user returns to the Stance One position
○ The First Akira: Complete Description: The user raises both arms till they are straight, then flicks both wrists, causing the fans to open wide in a back slashing motion- meanwhile, the left foot is shifted forward. The user will then lean forward, arms curling to their back, and perform a sweep kick with the right. If successful, the user will finish by slicing their target in an ‘X’ formation by swinging both fans forward, and finally return to the Stance One position
○ Grace Description: The user tightens their leg muscles, but still retains their swiftness. For a short while, the user cannot be knocked off balance by D or C ranked techniques • Lasts 6 Posts
○ Flickering Beauty Description: While performing ‘The First Akira, light flickers are left behind, serving as a minor distraction
Stage Two: D-Ranked
Description: Akira- Balance: The user has a rough understanding of how to retain balance in most positions, but is still clumsy in awkward positions. The movements of this stance are based around sturdy yet soft footing with fan utilization. The user begins with hands at torso level and knees are slightly bent Abilities: none Graduation Requirements: Requires 10 Posts Of Training / Meditation In This Stance. Techniques: ○ The Second Akira: Snap Description: The user sends one of their feet forward, causing them to assume a near ducking position, it is a simple maneuver to dodge
○ The Second Akira: Chop Description: While in any form of ducking position, the user will slide their fans together from chest level, causing a pair of parallel horizontal slashes
○ The Second Akira: Fold Description: While the fans are atop one another (horizontal or vertical), and at torso level, the user will emit a very light blast of chakra by clapping both fans shut. This burst of chakra is elementless, and capable of pushing most shinobi a yard away, it can also deflect projectile ninjutsu
○ The Second Akira: Complete Description: From any ducking position, the user slides their fans together from chest level, once horizontal, and once more vertically. After the hit is confirmed, the user will snap both fans shut, letting loose a burst of null element chakra that deals moderate damage and pushes the target back roughly two yards. During the time the target is sent away, the user will either spin around once rising and assuming the Stance One position, or continue into a combination
○ Enhanced Step Description: The user channels chakra through their feet to perform a quick strike or dodge • Can only be used 3 times per battle
○ Chakra Slash Description: The user channels chakra through their hands into their fans before striking, or to send a wave style slash towards their opponent • Max range of 10 meters
○ Elemental Burst Description: The user channels their elemental chakra into their fan to send a gale of wind with a simple back waving motion. The wind shares the element of your choosing, which could result in a searing wind, if fire, or say a chilling wind, if water • Max range of 15 meters
○ Wall Shadow Description: The user presses chakra into their feet in order to attach to a wall or ceiling. The user then holds up a single fan, if eye contact if made with either fan, the opponent believes the user leaps into the sky and vanishes • Considered Genjutsu
Stage Three: C-Ranked
Description: Akira- Elegance: The user is now accustomed to strange positions, and is able to retain strength and grace even within the most pressing of situations. Quick and sturdy movements can be performed even when ducking or bent backwards. The user begins from a bent back position or almost fully ducking position… Abilities: none Graduation Requirements: Requires 15 Posts Of Training / Meditation In This State Techniques: ○ The Third Akira: Flip Description: From either a ducking position or bent back position, the user will slide back on their hands, performing a hand stand. From this position they lift one of their arms, and quickly extend the opposite leg, equaling the weight. If the opponent is close enough they will likely be kicked by the extending of the leg, or will be within slashing reach of the free hand and fan
○ The Third Akira: Slip Description: The user will bend their arms while standing on them (or one) and slowly slide to a held position on their forearm(s). From here, they will bend in their legs, and slip under or around an opponent. While sliding on the ground (on either back or stomach) the user can very easily slash with their fans
○ The Third Akira: Rise Description: By recovering from a sliding or downed position, the user will lift themselves with either leg and use the momentum to force forward or backward. With the boost of movement, they will then beautifully spin, bringing both arms in full circular slashing motion. (Can be performed with fans open or closed)
○ The Third Akira: Complete Description: From a bent back, or almost completely ducking position, the user with lift themselves with either arm, quickly bringing up their opposite leg in an attempt to kick anyone in the immediate area. From this single hand stand position, the user will bend till their elbow makes contact with the ground, whence this has happened they will curl their legs into their stomach and press off with a mighty oomph- causing them to slide on the ground to their target. When the desired distance has been reached, the user will lift up with either leg and use the momentum built up by the slide to spin around, arms balleting in a circular fashion
○ Elegance Description: The user expands a blanket of chakra in a 2 yard radius (12 foot diameter), allowing them to ‘sense’ when they are going to be hit by close quarters attacks and allows them to react accordingly. It is only because of their reflexes that this technique is so effective, giving the user the ability to bend or step to evade. This blanket of chakra does not actually expend any chakra, rather it sets aside the total used to be reclaimed when the blanket drops.
○ Projected Wall Flower Description: In order to begin, the user must catch the eye of their opponent with sight or fan connection. The user seems to flicker from their position, while in reality is nothing more than an illusion. As the Genjutsu begins to fade, a vine of chakra will wrap around the opponent’s legs, rooting them in place. This technique needs three posts to fully form. The first, the sight connection. The second, the illusionary flickering from place to place. And thirdly, the fading of the Genjutsu and the wrapping of the root. If during any step the opponent is dealt physical damage, the Genjutsu fades
○ Twirling Deception Description: When attacked by a close range combat, the user will spinning sidestep the attack, bringing up one hand with a burst of wind to inflict cuts along their torso
Stage Four: B-Ranked
Description: Akira- Coordination: Having understood Elegance, Speed, and Balance, the user now learns how to use the fans as if an extension of their own two hands. They can now perform a wealth of weapon attacks without requiring a hard grip upon their fans. It is also likely by this point that the user is completely aware of their fans, and no longer have to carry the troubled thoughts of self-harm… Abilities: none Graduation Requirements: Requires 15 Posts Of Training Using Light Grip Fan Movements Techniques: ○ The Fourth Akira: Twirl Description: The user will motion their fan, open, upon a single finger, spinning it like a pin wheel. The bladed fan will likely be able to slice through flesh as if a rotary saw
○ The Fourth Akira: Exchange Description: While spinning both fans at once, the user will flip them up into the air and catch them with the index fingers on the opposite hands, continuing the spinning motion. Though this seems trivial, it becomes apparent why the technique was developed later on
○ The Fourth Akira: Point Description: The user extends both arms, forward, and flips both fans together using their wrists- the two appearing as one. Again, using only their wrists, the user will flip both fans upward, and throw one high overhead. They will then spin around, to catch the falling fan. During this spin, the user is both nimble and deadly, as they have full usage of the hand still bearing a fan
○ The Fourth Akira: Complete Description: While spinning their fans atop their fingers, the user will quickly exchange the fans to opposite hands…after catching each fan, the user will flip both fans upward, making it appear as though there is only one fan. They will then proceed by flipping the fan upward, as a distraction, spin backward or forward (depending on how the fan is thrown) and catch the falling fan with their open hand. During this nimble step, the user has complete control over a likely distracted target, allowing them to slice with the hand still holding a fan
○ Return Description: The user will attach a light line of chakra to the handle of their fan before throwing them at an opponent, causing them to retract on the user’s whim. This technique can also be applied to the fans if they have been knocked out of the users hands • Max range 10 yards
○ Carousel of Death Description: The user spins both open fans amongst a single arm, after increasing their stamina and stability via chakra infusion, creating a full spread pinwheel of blades- Due to the speed they are spun, it seems more like the user’s arm is simply enveloped in rotating saws. • Able to cut through un-tempered steel
○ Kiss of Death Description: The user channels chakra into the tips of the blades of their fans, causing each point to glow a deep purple color. Though this effect does not last long, the rewards are immense…If the opponent is cut by these glowing edges, they will be inflicted with a viral poison that will slowly begin to eat away at their body. If it is not cleansed within 3 posts, the opponent will grow faint- if it is not cleansed within 6 posts, the opponent will faint- and finally, if the poison is not cleansed within 10 posts, the opponent will die a slow painful death
○ Spin Burst: Description: The user will spin their hand in a fast motion, creating a ring of razor sharp chakra. This ring of chakra has the unique ability to slice through all Kekkei Genkai created materials. • Can only be used twice per battle
Stage Five: B-Ranked
Description: Akira- Focus: After coming to a complete understanding of the previous methods, the user is now at the point of learning the most important lesson- Focus… Through vast meditation, the user begins to discover how to control their powers with precession, and power, without seeming lethal. The moves of this stance are quick and exact… Abilities: none Graduation Requirements: Requires Any Combination Of 22 Posts Of Meditation And Quick Movements, All Previously Learned Techniques Can Be Used With This Stance Techniques: ○ The Fifth Akira: Crescent Description: The user shifts one foot to cross the other, bending it as they step. During this simple movement, they will also raise one arm, fan open, in a swinging motion, meanwhile, the opposite arm is performing an exact mirrored action…If in a condensed area, both fans should come very close to hitting either the ceiling or floor, but never actually make contact
○ The Fifth Akira: Full Moon Description: From a dipping and spinning position, the user will shift forward, twisting around while weaving both arms through the air, both fans open. Each fan should come very close to hitting either the ceiling or floor but never actually make contact
○ The Fifth Akira: Shifting Moon Description: With a twisting, rotating, step, the user will flip both fans overhead, coming to a full rotation, they will then catch both fans by the flat tips of the blades. This is a simple evading step technique that can also dazzle the opponent
○ The Fifth Akira: Darting Moon Requirements: Requires three additional posts to learn Description: The user will take their open fans by the flat tip of the blade and fling them like a disc at an incredible speed. Because of the beautiful speed, the fans become more like rotating saw blades than anything else, able to cut through most organic materials, aside tempered metal and crystal. But, their power and speed is not their only benefit…because of the way these fans are tossed, they will return to the user even if they make full impact on the initial toss, operating more like a boomerang than anything else. However, if the user is not very well taught in this technique, it can result in their own hand removal…
○ The Fifth Akira: Complete Description: The user begins by shifting one foot over the other, kneeling as they move forward bringing one open fan overhead, and the other in a lower swinging motion, mimicking the overhead. After the swing has come to a finish, they will perform a mirrored technique, on the opposite foot. With one arm and fan still high, the user will then throw that fan up, catching it as it comes back on its bladed edge. To finish, the user will fling the fan at incredible speeds, causing it to appear as if a solid razor ring- Because of the spin on the fan, the thing will return to the thrower even if it makes impact on the initial throw
○ Concentration Description: Any technique performed in ‘Stance Five: Akira- Focus’ has its damage increased by one rank (C ► B, B ► A) for a short amount of time • Lasts six posts
○ Peace Requirements: Cannot move for two posts Description: The user remains perfectly still for a short amount of time and regenerates enough chakra to perform two additional B ranked techniques
Stage Six: A-Ranked
Description: Akira- Finale: Having come to full knowledge and understanding of the previous stances, the user has managed to gather the grace and beauty required to at long last flourish as a user of the Akira Arts…The user will begin by training their leg muscles under extreme pressure, followed by their arms, and finally the torso… Abilities: None Graduation Requirements:Requires 25 Posts Of Training Under Extreme Pressure (Most Likely Waterfalls) Techniques: ○ The Sixth Akira: Rebound Description: After bouncing and catching their fan off of any surface, the user will quickly line the blades of the fan with a hefty amount of chakra, causing them to glow an eerie black. The user then proceeds by immediately tossing the fan again- due to the speed, and chakra, the fan is more like a razor wind wheel than anything else, capable of cutting through materials like tempered steel (but not crystal)
○ The Sixth Akira: Duster Description: After bouncing and catching their fan off of any surface, the user will perform three hasty spins, bending their leg straight up on the second spin. During these spins the user has complete motional control over their body (unless hindered) allowing them to move at normal speeds regardless of the terrain. Whence the third spin has come to a halt, the user will bend forward, slashing in a heavy downward motion capable of tearing massive sections of flesh clean off. Should the blades be entrusted by poisoning techniques, the effects would not only be applied, but also amplified… • Reduces the time required for ‘Kiss of Death’ stages to take effect by 1 each
○ The Sixth Akira: True Beauty Description: This technique seems to have no effect on its own…The user simply readjusts their position, legs straight forward, arms to their sides, and fans closed…
○ The Sixth Akira: Complete Description: After bouncing and catching their fan off of any surface, the user will quickly line their fan with chakra, causing them to shine with a black aura. The user will follow by tossing the fan at incredible speeds capable of cutting through solid tempered steel. After catching the fan whence it has boomeranged from the initial toss, the user will spin anywhere from two to ten times, allowing perfect movement on any surface. The user attempts to close the distance using these spins, and when they have come to the desired position, spring out their hands- fans open. The horizontal slashing motion that is caused by the combination of spinning and erect arms results in incredible flesh rending power- additionally, should the blades of the fan be poisoned, the afflicted will feel their effects slightly sooner. Upon completing this slashing gesture, the user will tap their foot on the ground, echoing a hollow sound as a thin aura of chakra spins around them. The user will reset their footing to a simple sturdy stance, and place their hands to their sides, fans closed…The aura that was moments ago present will be absorbed by the user, resulting in a great boost of ability… • Reduces the time required for ‘Kiss of Death’ stages to take effect by 1 each • Strength of all techniques increased by 1 rank (C ► B, B ► A, A ► A) • Speed of user increased by 1 rank (Jou ► S Lvl, S Lvl ► Kage, Kage ► +Kage) • Chakra usage of all techniques reduced by 1 rank (S ► A, A ► B) • Lasts 12 posts
○ Tranquility Requirements: Cannot move for one post, Can only be used once per battle Description: The user will remain perfectly still for a short period of time, forcing the natural chakra flow of their body to work in multiples- healing them of the damage caused by 2 A Ranked techniques, and breaking any chakra flow obstructions

Seven Sword Dance Untouchable barrier of blades
___Description: The seven sword dance is hailed as one of the most difficult styles to master, however it rewards those who serve it with unpredictable movements, unique angles of attack, and a means to an end (whatever that may be for the individual). The user places seven swords on his or her body and uses them to attack in a seemingly erratic pattern that more closely resembles juggling than swordplay. Integrated with savage short range unarmed strikes, the style can attack from several angles at once making it rather hard to effectively block a master. The style utilizes a series of kata to ease the beginner into it, though those unable to keep up will soon find themselves injured.
___Rules N' Restrictions: • Requires minimum of seven katana (Or other swords. IE; Tanto, Wakizashi, Etc) • Those seven swords must be of light or medium weight (Unless stated otherwise) • Each stage confers a slight boost to agility and flexibility
___S t a g e O n e [1] ○ "The Hook" Simple :: E-Rank Description: • While in the seven sword stance, the user simply spins defensibly to clear the immediate area of attackers. Anyone stupid enough to stand in the short range of the blades will get a scar (or seven!) to remember!
___S t a g e T w o [2] ○ Sword Rain Simple :: D-Rank Description: • A quick spin can unsheathe all seven swords at once, raining them down on your opponent! This can also be used to toss a stream of swords at your target.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] ○ Bee Sting Simple :: C-Rank Description: • Unleashing two or more of your blades into an "X" shape, you are able to slam a third into them- cutting an opponent many times.
○ Seven Sword Dance Simple :: C-Rank Description: • A continuous dance of pain as the user is now skilled enough to juggle swords while he fights.
○ Vibrating Sword Complex :: C-Rank Description: • Charging a blade with lightning chakra causes it to vibrate at super sonic speeds, allowing it to cut through even metal. • Requires Raiton [ Lightning ] elemental chakra.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] ○ Lightning Rod Complex :: B-Rank Description: • Tossing a highly charged sword high into the air will redirect even the most dangerous lightning techniques to strike it. (However, don't stand beneath/near it!) • No effect on techniques above Rank B. • Requires Raiton [ Lightning ] elemental chakra.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] ○ Infinite Sword Dance Simple :: A-Rank Description: • Littering the area with swords the users can pick up any seven at a time, allowing him to discard and even pick up the discarded swords. Tossing swords as the user plows threw the area tends to be the norm when using this technique. • Requires 10 or more blades.
○ Butterfly Float Simple :: A-Rank Description: • Nearing the mastery of your style you can attack with all of your seven blades at once continuously, leaving even the Sharingan unable to predict where you are attacking from. However, this technique requires intense focus. They say you need to be constantly be playing seven games of chess at once to effectively use this technique!
○ Thunder Dance Simple / Complex :: A-Rank Description: • An unpredictable array of continuous blows rain down on your opponent with charged vibrating sword. (Seven Sword Dance + Vibrating Sword) Simple version is performed the same, but with non-elemental effects. • Complex version Requires Raiton [ Lightning ] elemental chakra.
___S t a g e S i x [6] ○ Rain Dance Complex :: S-Rank Description: • Following usage of the Infinite Sword Dance technique, the user charges all the blades laying on the ground with magnetic properties attracting to their opponent. This requires immense chakra but the result is almost always fatal for their target. (Thousands of blades attracted to the target!) • Requires Raiton [ Lightning ] elemental chakra.

Nunchaku Kata Whipping and whirling barrage
___Description: The nunchaku is a traditional weapon of the Kobudo weapons set and consists of two sticks connected at their ends with a short chain or rope. Though not typically used in a ninja arsenal, the nunchaku have spurted up every now and then, proving themselves to be both quick and powerful. Unfortunately, the effective use of these weapons when fighting other ninja requires much training and dedication. Through brutal training and realization of hand movements, the user often finds himself faster after a long day’s training with this type of weapon.
___Rules: • Some techniques require a pair of nunchaku. • Some techniques that require two, can also be used with one. • All techniques in this style require an [1] additional post to learn. • Each stage grants a slight increase to Strength and flexibility. ___S t a g e O n e [1] Thunk Simple :: Rank E The user swings one nunchaku underhand, as if delivering an uppercut, and catches it on the flip back.
Dented Horizon Simple :: Rank E The user swings both nunchaku horizontally, one after the other, catching each as they come back around.
___S t a g e T w o [2] Pound Rise Simple :: Rank D The user swings both nunchaku forward up, one after the other, as if a double uppercut, and catches each behind their back on the flip. Because of the force, it is likely the first strike will cause the opponent to be disoriented and led into the second.
Ring Bop Simple :: Rank D The user takes a step forward, shifting the opposite foot backward, holding one nunchaku at its end. At any given moment during this stance, the user will quickly swing in a full circular motion, smacking with both of their weapons. Because of the speed, this technique is also capable of knocking certain projectiles from the air. • Deflects light weight projectiles.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Breaking Combo Simple :: Rank C The user takes a step forward, holding one nunchaku by the end and the other near its center. They will proceed by continuing their forward stepping, spinning both nunchaku in rapid vertical circle motions.
Snake Shield Simple :: Rank C The user holds both nunchaku by their end, then proceeds by swinging them both around their torso, generating a hasty parry and bludgeon perimeter. • Deflects light and medium projectiles. • Deflects Rank D projectile Ninjutsu.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Infusion Burst Complex :: Rank B The user infuses both of his nunchaku with a light amount of elemental chakra, causing them to deal an additional D Ranked amount of corresponding elemental damage per hit. • Lasts [8] posts.
Spinning Cane Simple :: Rank B The user takes various awkward steps forward, takes both nunchaku by their ends, and swings them around his body in multiple linear patterns.
Ring Toss Complex :: Rank B The user holds one nunchaku by its end and injects chakra into it. With a light whip-lash style motion, he will let loose a spinning disc of pure chakra as if a large shuriken. However, the technique can also be adjusted by using elemental chakra, resulting in rings of fire or water, and so on.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Eight Point Bash Simple :: Rank B The user charges forward, nunchaku ends tucked between armpits. When the time seems right, the user will attempt to unleash a combination of eight directional strikes. One uppercut, one overhead strike, one strike from the left, one strike from the right, a second uppercut, one diagonal up from left to right, one diagonal up from right to left, and finally a hard forward jab. Each strike is typically aimed for the head, as thus, if the initial uppercut lands, the remaining seven strikes should follow fine. Additionally, the ending jab offsets most opponents.
Friction Motion Simple :: Rank A The user will continuously sling his nunchaku around himself, creating a 360º barrier, extremely effective seeing how the user may still remain moving. Any light or medium weight projectile that comes near the user during this period is deflected, if not simply shattered. When the user has finished his swinging, each nunchaku will seem to be giving off steam, and for a brief while, any successful attacks brought on by these enhanced nunchaku deal an additional D ranked amount of fire damage and can cause severe burns. • Rotating preparation requires [3-5] posts. • Burning effect lasts [6] posts.
Twisting Dragon Simple :: Rank A The user will begin by holding one nunchaku at its end, and the other as they see fit. They will proceed by attempting to close the distance, and when the time arises, swing out the loose gripped one in an attempt to wrap the foot or leg of their target. If successful, the user will quickly follow by bringing the blunt end of the opposite nunchaku into the opponent, and finish by spinning and throwing the opponent into the air. Because this attack is so swift, and essentially a grab, it can be used as a quite lethal mix-up technique.
___S t a g e S i x [6] Dragon Fang Simple :: Rank A An anti-air technique developed to stunt enemies in their tracks. The user will hold both nunchaku folded and backwards, then stab at high speeds diagonally into the air. Roughly twenty strikes, each one with enough power to suspend a person in midair. The final strike is different however, as the user will jab one nunchaku hard into the target, let loose his grip on one bar, and slam the suspended into the ground.
Voluptuous Dragon Tongue Simple :: Rank S The user will begin by holding both nunchaku folded over between his armpits, he will then proceed by creating in opening in the opponent's defense in someway. When the time has come, the user will harness all of his arm strength, causing veins to strain and ungulate. He will then swing his nunchaku at incredible speeds, forming loops, linear strings, and hard jab free-style attacks; all while shifting his feet to circle the opponent. Because of its speed and power, the movements will also likely cause friction burns. After the technique has come to a close, the user will have minor arm strength left, resulting in his ability to only use specific techniques with a single nunchaku at a time. • After usage, techniques are performed with one [1] nunchaku. • After usage, techniques above Rank B cannot be used.

Kyoukan Ya The bolt which flies true.
___D e s c r i p t i o n: Kyoukan Ya happens to be one of the few existing arrow techniques utilized by the shinobi world, as it makes use of tricks and variability in its arts, meant to take down its foes from a distance. Most practitioners of the Assassin's Arrow tend to be killers from the shadows.
___N o t e s: •For each stage learned apply a slight increase to Agility.
___S t a g e O n e [1] Simple Shot Rank: E : : Simple Description: What else does a rookie with a bow? Draw back and shoot! Be sure to hit that mark!
Quick Draw! Rank: E : : Simple Description: A technique used for showing off, more than it is used combat wise, as the user draws their arrow and fires it quickly, sacrificing most accuracy for speed.
Arc Bolt Rank: E : : Complex Description: The user utilizes their chakra to make their arrow turn once in the air gradually. This effect is immediate, and the arc will be noticed quite quickly.
___S t a g e T w o [2] Rapid Fire Rank: D : : Simple Description: Calling upon one's stamina, the user begins to build up from some basic skills, and draws their arrows with speed, firing them off. One after another. At this point in time, the user while quick, doesn't have the accuracy to make it work that great. Time to spray and pray, huh?
Sidewinder Rank: D : : Complex Description: A technique to defeat walls in the user's way, where they apply chakra to coerce a more fierce arc in the arrow to move around the side of the wall. While it isn't a guaranteed hit, it'll shock 'em out of cover!
Heaven's Spear Rank: D : : Complex Description: A technique which requires some time to work up in power, the user fires their arrow directly up into the sky. While this makes the user seem egotistical, they've imbued the arrow with a flexible chakra, which allows it to pick up an electrical charge as it rises and falls back to the earth. If the attack should work, the enemy will find themselves moving rather sluggish from the electrical discharge. • Two posts of reduced mobility. • Requires an additional post for the arrow to fall.
___S t a g e T h r e e [3] Trip Wire Rank: C : : Simple Description: Attaching a line to the user's arrow, they send their arrow flying into one location, and attach the other side of the line to a nearby anchor of some sort. The user may apply chakra to add additional effects such as shallow cuts, numbness or minor burns. • Can be performed complex. • Learned as if complex.
Rocket Bolt Rank: C : : Complex Description: The user applies their chakra to their arrow, and when it's sent off through the air, the chakra is used to provide extra thrust, because of this, there's little flexibility in its flight, but it's speed is doubled.
Cluster Training Rank: C : : Training Description: At this point in time, the user will practice firing multiple arrows at one time from their bow. • Once learned this is treated as a passive.
Bomb Arrow Rank: C : : Training Description: The user goes through a process prior to battle to create detonating arrows, by attaching an exploding note to the arrow carefully and camouflaging it to appear as a normal shaft yet. The enemy is in for a surprise when the user chooses to detonate the seemingly normal arrows for an explosion. • Once learned this is treated as a passive.
___S t a g e F o u r [4] Seekers Rank: B : : Complex Description: Applying chakra in a way to match the enemy's base chakra signatures, the seeker arrows are far more flexible in their movement, tracking the enemy much like a homing arrow. Depending on the arrow type, the enemy is in for quite a blitz.
Pincer Arrows Rank: B : : Complex Description: Utilizing two arrows, the user applies their chakra to the both of them, to have them arc in two different directions, attacking the enemy from two sides.
Restraint Shot Rank: B : : Complex Description: Drawing five arrows on one's bow, the user connects them in a seemingly simple way, so that they might appear loosely connected. Little does the enemy know, the truth is the arrows are connected in a more complicated way than they could have guessed, forming a net made of chakra to pin the enemy against a surface. • Elemental chakra of all kinds may be applied for additional effects.
Venom Sting Rank: B : : Training Description: The user learns of the ways to create a poisonous arrow unique to the possessors of the Kyoukan Ya arts, which as it spreads will begin to slow the body's reactions, followed by delirium and finally unconsciousness. Not meant to kill, but rather provide an opening to it, it's easily countered by eisejutsu. • Requires three posts for each stage of the poison to activate. • Treated as a passive after learning • Gives the user three additional custom jutsu slots specifically for Kyoukan Ya poisons.
___S t a g e F i v e [5] Flick Draw Rank: A : : Simple Description: Building upon the basics of earlier techniques, the user remains seemingly casual. The user appears unable to fire their bow, not in hand, or at the ready. Not even an arrow in their hand. With blinding speed, the user proves they aren't as unable to fire as they seem, with an arrow launched in the surprise, it's hard to avoid!
Bore Bolt Rank: A : : Simple Description: The user learns to fire off an arrow with a surprising skill. The rotation of the arrow is increased, providing for extra piercing capabilities, able to pierce through stone with ease. With a certain chakra type, the user is capable of sending the arrow off with enough force to create a localized area of impact, symbolized in stone with a small "crater" an inch across. • Learned as if complex. • Requires fuuton chakra for complexity.
Cripple Rank: A : : Complex Description: The user applies chakra in a unique manner, as they fire the arrow. Sacrificing its usual piercing capabilities, the chakra will form a blunt head of sorts. As a result the arrow will make contact, but it will not pierce the flesh. Rather, the arrow itself will be crushed against the chakra, and the force will be transferred into the hit location, as if the enemy has been struck by hammer, leaving bruising at the least, and possible breakage at the most.
Sun Spot Rank: A : : Complex Description: The user harnesses their chakra into one localized spot, on the tip of their index finger, and when they fire their arrow, the chakra is released in a blinding burst to provide cover for the arrow, while it soars to strike the enemy.
Death Murmur Rank: A : : Complex Description: The user applies their chakra to the arrow they are firing, yet it appears as if the chakra isn't doing anything. Upon impact into the enemy, the user forms a ninja seal, and the chakra becomes active, creating barbs to keep the arrow head embedded into the enemy. • Only three murmur arrows may be activated at any time. • Barbs remain active for four posts.
___S t a g e Six [6] Slip Stream Rank: S : : Simple Description: The user draws two arrows, but only knocks one to fire off. The second of which is knocked and fired nearly immediately after the first. While not drawn with as much power, the absence of air provided by the first arrow allows for surprising acceleration in the second, creating a "one-two" shot, in a localized area. With true precision, the second will smash the first into the target, embedding the head and hindering use of the limb.
Shatter Shot Rank: S : : Training Description: A third type of arrow the user is taught in the Kyoukan Ya skills. The user is taught the method to inserting what is similar to an exploding note into the core of the arrow's shaft, and how to cut it to fly true yet. Beneath its head are narrow openings to the note, which will use the blood of the enemy to extinguish its detonating capabilities, if it has hit true. If not, the arrow will explode into shards, hitting the enemy with wooden shrapnel. • Learned as if complex. • Requires 30 chakra to activate the "fuse" of each arrow.
Nature Siphon Rank: S : : Complex Description: A technique which allows the user to create elemental arrows of sorts, depending on their chakra natures. What makes this technique most useful is the fact that it may take even advanced chakra natures, for additional effects. • Requires 25 chakra per arrow for simple elements. • Requires 40 chakra per arrow for advanced elements (hyouton, mokuton, etc.).
Essence Siphon Rank: S : : Complex Description: The user makes use of pre-stored materials, allowing for quick arrow creation mid-battle. Applying their chakra to the material, it becomes aggravated and applies its attributes to the arrow, making it appear a flawless and unmodified arrow. At this point, the user may make use of pre-mixed Kyoukan Ya poison, or even explosive notes to create arrows of varying effects. • The user may apply two materials to an arrow through this method. • Requires 20 chakra per material for an arrow.

Doki Yari That which falls like lightning.
___D e s c r i p t i o n: The technique is often mistaken for use of simply spears, while some of its moves may favor simple spears, but many have made use of most kinds of light pole arms in terms of use. Devised to drive through anything standing in its way, Doki Yari often proves taxing and appears clumsy looking. Doki Yari stands in the forefront of the shinobi world as one of the few spear techniques that have been conceived in its history. Originating from the Land of Valleys, it oddly was not established by the shinobi that make use of it today, but rather rogues waiting for that unfortunate passerby who would be buying their meal that night. Word got out, eventually, as the Valleys became more and more renowned, for people gone missing. That was when the Daimyo in the Land of Fire grew concerned, sending off some of the Leaf's elite. Scuffles ensued, and with each encounter, their shinobi learned of the strengths of the technique, and worked to adapt it, turning it against its original creators. It's origins were snuffed for the time being, and brought back to the shinobi world. A technique to pierce the very walls that stand in its users way.
___N o t e s: • Pole arms used must be of medium weight or lighter. • Awards a slight increase to strength for each stage learned. • Awards a increase in weapon prowess for spear ( spear prowess increased)
___S t a g e ○ O n e [1] Forceful Lunge Rank: E : : Simple Description: The first technique a user is meant to learn. Thrusting the spear forward, often keeping their center of gravity low, overextending themselves to really push their range.
Bo Strike Rank: E : : Simple Description: The user utilizes this move in close proximity, grabbing hold of the haft, they swing quickly at the side of the enemy, around an enemy's defenses, so as to put some room between the two. The force of this strike even if blocked will push an opponent away.
___S t a g e ○ T w o [2] Piercing Thrust Rank: D : : Simple Description: The user will perform what appears to be a typical thrust of the spear, however they will loosen their grip upon the haft, allowing it to proceed, before giving it a little extra force by striking the butt of the spear. It has the capability to pierce defensive jutsu D rank or below.
Sweep Strike Rank: D : : Simple Description: The user will alter their grip upon the haft of the spear, and swing it wide and low, at an incoming enemy, not only disrupting their attack, but sending them reeling to the ground.
Double Strike Rank: D : : Simple Description: The user will use the haft of the weapon in a primary attack, where if it lands, it creates an opening in the defenses of the opponent for a secondary swing.
Fake Out Rank: D : : Simple Description: The user will run in at the opponent, and make themselves stumble, presenting a false opening. Should they take that opportunity, the user will drop their foot to the earth to spring the trap. The user will whirl about and strike the enemy with either the spearhead or the haft.
___S t a g e ○ T h r e e [3] Counter Thrust Rank: C : : Simple Description: When met by a thrust of some sort, the user will angle their weapon and push forward and up, sending the weapon greatly off course, before bringing the haft down upon the opponent's shoulder, causing a short lived paralysis in the arm. • Limb is stunned for two posts
Gatling Technique Rank: C : : Simple Description: The user will thrust forward their spear, keeping a gentle grasp upon the haft, Once it reaches the end of its range, the user will pull back the spear, and repeat the process again. The number of strikes involved in this technique make it difficult to read.
Aerial Assault Rank: C : : Complex Description: The user will use the butt of the haft as an aid to send them reeling through the air feet first at the opponent. Wrapping their legs in chakra to reinforce them, so as to avoid breaking anything when they meet with defenses. Certain users may double their speed, by adding a burst of fuuton chakra when they kick off the ground. The target cannot block this normally as the impact will send them to the ground regardless of prowess.
___S t a g e ○ F o u r [4]
Lancer Rank: B: : Complex Description: This technique pushes chakra to the users legs as the user pushes off the ground. They will leap into the air and angle their weapon down. Upon impact the user will be unharmed but a wave of force as large as the user will be sent 360 degrees around the point of impact. Anything within 5 yards of the impact will be forced backwards violently The force of this attack as the user is coming down creates a small wash of heat that is enough to deflect medium sized projectiles and even some minor ranking jutsu (C and lower)
Disarming Strike Rank: B : : Simple Description: This particular technique can be tricky for users of less... daring. When the opponent moves forward to strike at the user, they slip the weapon above the enemy's arm and bring it down, sending weapon and limb alike into the ground.
Deafening Assault Rank: B : : Simple Description: Utilizing the butt of the spear, the user will jab the opponent in the solar plexus, and if it should be successful, will bring the opponent into the prime position, and with the enemy bent over, the user will strike again with the haft across the side of their head, to send them reeling to the ground.
Soul Eater Rank: B : : Complex Description: The user grabs a hold of the target in any manner possible, including with the tip of their blade. Once this happens the user forms a ball of chakra in their hand purple in color. Pulling the target forward the user will slam the ball of chakra into any part of the body they can reach, causing that portion of the body to rapidly decay.
Parrying Death Rank: B : : Complex Description: An odd technique amongst the Doki Yari style, as it is purely defensive. Grabbing the butt of the spear, the user will whirl it about creating a dome of chakra about them, which will prevent most physical arts from reaching the user for a period of time. • Lasts two [2] posts.
___S t a g e ○ F i v e [5] Spiral Out Rank: A : : Simple Description: The user will whirl about while running, to deflect incoming projectile tools and break through objects in their way, which closes the distance between the user and his foes. The user is presented an opportunity to whirl the spear in the whirling motion, to create a pseudo-saw.
Counter Barrage Rank: A : : Simple Description: Obviously, another counter strike, in which the user will duck beneath the enemy's attacks, and thrust the butt of the spear into their abdomen to raise them into the air, before sending them crashing into the earth with ground shattering force.
Shattering Thrust Rank: A : : Simple Description: The user will move forward, identifying the weakest point of a basic structure, before piercing it with their weapon. A precise stab causing a deconstruction of nonliving materials. ( Cannot be used to deconstruct in-use weapons. )
Dragon's Gate Rank: A : : Complex Description:The user surges chakra to their lags increasing their speed and Agility enormously. If used too often this can tire out the user. Lasts for 5 posts and useable twice per fight without beginning to tire.
Lightning Rod Rank: A : : Complex Description: The user will channel an oddly conductive form of chakra throughout their spear, before sending it soaring through the sky. It will call down lightning to arc through the spear and into the ground.(For effects of the lightning, see Kirin)
___S t a g e ○ Six [6] Lightning Surfer Rank: S : : Simple Description: The user hurls their spear through the air, and then leaps atop the haft with care. With the user balanced atop the spear, they increase the over all mass of the assault. Now, the spear can continue to soar, or the user can turn it into a whirling strike at the last moment.
Crescent Cleave Rank: S : : Complex Description: Channeling their chakra, the user swings their spear along the ground in an upward motion, causing an arc of energy, tearing away at skin and blinding them temporarily. • Hinders sight for three [3] posts.
Zeus Bolt Rank: S : : Complex Description: The user will utilize chakra to dash to a blind spot in the opponent's defenses, before hurling it into the weakest possible point it can pierce, utilizing the deconstructive properties of the shattering thrust and its superior piecing capabilities.
Heaven's Blessing Rank: S : : Complex Description: The user finds that any simple technique is basic enough to be imbued with an element of their own chakra nature. A stab becomes a burning thrust, a sweep a trail of lightning, and so on and so forth. • Allows the user to perform any "Simple" technique as if it were "Complex" by imbuing their own elemental chakra.
