 Chevalier paced around in the forest glade trying to find the source of the water he heard but he only kept on getting more lost. His sense of direction seemed to be out of whack. Getting frustrated he galloped around glaring and fumbling and almost going back into the darker part of the forest. Maybe if he called out someone might help him? He was a bit taken aback at the thought as something dangerous might come. Well nothing ventured nothing gained right? Plus he wanted to venture without his hooves, they needed a rest! So he whinnied loudly hoping for a quick reply....

 Attacus awoke from his moss bed under one of the older trees in the forest. He got up and stretched his legs and nibbled on a patch of leaves nearby. Soon the sun would be setting and he would have another night in his forest home. They air was clean and crisp just the way he liked it.
As he was stretching he heard a whinny from somewhere in the distance. It sounded distressed. Not a good sign. Attacus galloped through the thick forest as fast as he could, jumping over fallen trunks, rocks, and ducking branches. Luckily he knew the forest well so he did this with ease.
When he arrived he saw a brown stallion pacing around. "Hello, are you ok? Did you need help." The stallion didn't look injured, so Attacus was a little confused as to what the problem was, but he was here to help in anyway he could.

Chev slowly stopped his frantic pacing. His eyes alert to the sounds and approach of a horse approaching.
His ears perked up as he glanced at the new winged stallion.
He then started to blurt out "I was following the sound of a stream and got lost and I don't know my way back. With my luck thw stream is prolly underground. You seems nice, My name is Chevalier but most call me Chev, I think the heat may have gotten to me which is funny considering the shade. Darn! I'm just rambling aren't I?"
He tried to shrug at his sillyness making him look more awkward.

Attacus calmed himself taking on a more friendly demeanor when the stallion seemed to calm. He realized the stallion was lost, which was understandable this forest was dense and not many ventured into it.
"Hello Chev, my name is Attacus. I can help you find the stream and don't worry it's not under ground. It's actually not too much further from here." He said this in a friendly and reassuring voice.
"Follow me," He said turning to lead him deeper into the forest. He turned to make sure Chev was following him.

Chev stepped into the hoof prints left by the other stallion . making sure to keep one eye on his guide. His mom would so get on him if she found out he didn't!
The noise, or lack there of got to the feisty brown stallion till he eventually spoke out, " Have you been underground?"

Attacus diligently walked on towards the stream until the Chev spoke. The question amused him and he eased up, slowing down so that he now walked side by side with Chev "Undergound?, No I've never thought about going underground. Do you think it is possible to do so?" He was actually thinking about how he could go about exploring and going underground. The idea fascinated him and his stance lowered into a more casual one as he pondered the idea. "Have you?" He asked.

Chev smiled happily, " I've heard but not seen, My mom once saw a underground cave behind a waterfall, but she never ventured in, But I do know a mare who has been underground and talked to a demon like horse! and she only a foal!"
He swished his short tail and flicked his ears. " I hear the water again, are we close?"

Attacus perked up even more thinking about his next adventure. "I live next to a giant waterfall. I bet there is a cave behind it. I will have to explore it and find out. You could come with me if you like. I love discovering new things." He gave little heed to the mention of the demonlike horse thinking more about the possibility of exploring underground.
He refrained his excitement a little to get back to the task at hand. Water. "Yes see that big oak tree in the distance? It flows near that there. We should be there in a minute."

Chev's tail switched up happily while going into a faster trot. " wow, that is close!"
From this distance he could start to smell the water." it's not too deep is it? no fish I hope,"
He fretted of a silly thing of fish trying to chew his tail XD

Attacus matched pace with Chev's trot. He could tell he was excited to get there. "Yeah it is close. It's a bigger stream than most and goes a bit fast, but it is manageable if you are careful. I have never seen a fish in it." Attacus thought that there were probably fish in the stream but he was unsure and didn't want to worry the stallion.

Chev was glad that there might be a lack of fish and exploring. " I'm excited, are you? and thankyou for inviting me. As for swimming and climbing I'm pretty good, so no worries there!"
To make his point he sprang up pretty high showing how agile he was.

Attacus was excited. It was nice to have another around and especially one open for exploring. "I am excited and I am glad you are up to it." Attacus was impressed by Chev's jumping skills. "I am impressed I can jump pretty high myself," He said as he jumped tot he same height Chev had and slowly floated down. "However I'm not so good at swimming, my wings get in the way. But I can fly" With this he changed into his small size and flitted around Chev's head.

Chev watched with amusement, then what seemed to be shock and a sneer, until he sneeze, " Sorry would that!!" giving a big grin, Is it fun doing that?" his poofy tail bouncing up playfully.

The stallions sneeze blew him back a little bit. After that Attacus returned to his normal size. "Yes it is fun to change sizes, it's like being in another world when I'm small. But it takes energy to do that. I've only done it for about an hour at the most." Attacus was enjoying spending time with this Stallion he hadn't met someone with this kind of energy and it was a pleasant change...bringing a sort of foal like nature out in him.

Chev displayed a 'wow' expression, almost bouncing up. " shall we go then? it sounds so EXCITING!' the stallion put in with 'umph'
