[Jynk where art thou!?! biggrin I've started our thread. Also, any of the other Siblings are allowed to join] 'Why does mother have to be so darn protective..' His tail swished back and forth as he thought to himself in the early morning sunrise. The colors of the sky seemed to reflect his own shades as the sun first started to rise, deep orange against a starry backdrop. If he was the sentimental type he might have admired the beauty of the sunrise, but he was not so therefor paid no heed to it. Ears flicked as he turned his vibrant gaze to the west. He had snuck away from his sleeping mother and siblings and wondered if any of the others had followed. He almost doubted it. Digging his claws into the soft earth he looked down and then got up and walked over towards a small tree that was growing at a slanted angle. Crouching low and preparing for an attack he unshethed his tiny claws and jumped at the branch grabbing it in his teeth tugging at it. He released it and rolled to the left and stood up quickly and bounded around it and pounced up the limb and slumped up on the top of it seeing how far the branch would hold his weight. Seeing it wasn't breaking he swayed up and down until he heard that satisfying 'crack' and he and the branch tumbled to the ground and he rolled smoothly as he landed with the limb in his teeth and claws scratching at it. Tossing it aside he shook himself and sat back down. He was bored and antsy and really wish he had someone to roughouse with at the moment.

Kisa had noticed her brother slipping away the moment he had first made the steps out. She hadn't decided if she wanted to follow or not; she was rather comfortable and warm in the den with their mother and the rest of the family. She looked to the sleeping forms, then back to her brother and then sat with shut eyes for a moment. She finally opened her eyes, got up quietly and followed him.
She peered out from the cave and watched her dark brother Areo; watching him wrestle with the branch and wondered what he was trying to accomplish. She straightened up, watching him lose interest it seemed; and queued her to approach. "Brother?" She said quietly, her head low and her ears flat.

[omg.. i had written the best reply ever and it deleted it.... -cries as she retypes it- Also, Jynk will be responding to this sometime soon, so after you reply i'll wait] Ears flattened as he flicked his gaze to his approaching sister even before she had spoken to him."Kisa, I'm surprised to see you up and about."He stood up tall and turned to face her slowly. He was distainful towards her because he wished he could have wings, not that she was the only other one with them, nor was he the only one without; regardless he was still envious of the fact that he could not be a ruler of the skies. Despite their differences he loved his siblings and they would never know his envy of the winged cubs. He apprached her making a wide circle and nudged her shoulder playfully as he got closer. "Would you care to go exploring? I hate being locked up in this nook like a prisoner." He grinned mischeiviously and flicked his tail as he gazed around them. He wanted to know it all. Even being a cub so young he wanted to one day be a ruler of this area; know it all and take control. He just had this urge within him to rule everything or at least try and dominate it all. He could come to terms with the fact he would never be a ruler of the skies, but he could very well conquer the land and secretly made it his personal goal. He wanted to explore and learn it all and the secrets that might be hidden. He looked back at her and sat down as he awaited for her to agree to go exploring, he would go by himself if need be, but he would much prefer to be in the company of his own blood.

[Hope you guys don't mind if I join in!]The first sibling's escape from the den went unnoticed but disturbed TavenÃ's slumber enough that when his sister, Kisa followed Areo, his sleepy blue eyes opened and tailed her. Yawning heavily he stood, stretching one leg out at a time before shaking his fuzzy-tufted head to jog loose the sleep that still lay like a thick blanket over his mind.
Turning he padded after the pair of them, emerging, blinking, into the pale light of dawn. Yawning again, for Tavenà was not really a morning type lion, he strolled across to his two siblings, blinking at the chewed and clawed branch before grinning at Kisa and licking her ear affectionately. "Hey guys.... whats up?" Plopping his butt down beside his sister he looked to his dark coated bother, wondering if the other male was as grumpy this morning as he seemed to be some other mornings.

 Ndizi had watched through slitted eyes as her siblings escaped the den one by one. She was always up at this hour of the morning, and never could get back to sleep. Yet she was forced to try as not even her Mother was awake yet. She contemplated whether now would be a good time to wake up Mother, or if she should just follow them and keep a really close eye on them. Waking Mother didn't seem like a good idea, because while logical to alert an adult, her Mother was probably really tired. Naturally watching them like a hawk, was the next best option. Ndizi sprung to her feet energetically, shaking away the debris that had clung to her fur as she slept hardly taking any notice to the fact that perhaps she might be a bit loud. 'Now where did they all get off to?' She thought to herself as she slipped through the early morning shadows to reach her destination. "HAH! I found you guys!" She yelped, rather loudly yet again. "What do you guys think you're doing sneaking off from the den so early? You're going to be in soooo much trouble."

Kisa returned her brothers playful nudge and attempted to snag his ear for a good tugging, but her attention was turned to her brother Taveni and soon her sister Ndizi. She looked giddy at the idea of being out so early without mom; something adventurous and perhaps even... naughty. She gave her pale brother a playful pounce, giggling. "We are gonna go exploring. Aren't we Aero?" She said to him, sliding off him and watching her sister approach.
Her words made her a little less smiley. "Aw... we won't go far from the den. I don't want mom to get too worried if she wakes up; though she probably will... Cause 'he' will show up." She said. Their father's name had not been spoken to them yet; but their mother did refer to Nelth as 'him'; with a shiver usually. "As long as we stay within sight of the den.. we should be okay... right?" She looked to her brothers for assurance.

At her nudge he was prepared to start off when Taveni came out of the den asking what they were up to and Kisa quickly answered before he could let him know. It was good to know that Kisa was in for a bit of adventure. "That is right Kisa, I was hoping to get out a bit and explore the area and see what is to be found." He eye'd his brother hopefully, "Do you want to join?" It would be good for them to go together in a small group, rather than he by himself. The more the merrier, wasn't that the saying? Though not that he was looking for some cheer, it was just better odds if there was more of them.
He paced a few steps ahead of his two siblings when low and behold her voice cut through the quiet morning, obviously she wasn't all too keen on the words "sneaking away". He turned towards her and let out a low toned snap "Izzy! Hush, or you'll wake mother." (is it okay I call her Izzy??) At her following words he narrowed his eyes slightly and glared at her. Miss goodie goodie had to be awake. He heard Kisa answer her first and it let him tone down what he was initially going to say. "What are you going to do? Go and tell her?" She always had to be so nosey instead of just try and have fun once in a while. "If you must know, I was just asking the others if they wanted to go explore a bit of the area to see what was around, get a better feel for the area...." He flicked his tail sharply and turned toward Kisa for a moment. It hadn't been his intention to stay too close, but if Izzy was going to be all "motherly" the last thing he needed was her running off to Mother.
"I wouldn't worry about 'him' showing up," He said to Kisa reassuringly, "we aren't going to go very far." He may sneak off once the others got bored, but he couldn't very well chance it right now, especially with Izzy now involved. She would be most apt to tell their mother what they were up to, so for now he'd have to play by the rules...

Tavenà squeaked as he was pounced on by his sister, grinning and giggling as he returned the gesture of affection, all ready to launch into full-blown play mode when another voice pipped up behind him and he felt his ears pin themselves to his head. "Oh great... kill-joy is here." He muttered under his breath before turning and eyeing his other sister, Ndizi. "Quiet down, loud-mouth!" He grumbled, backing up to stand with Aero and Kisa. Flicking an ear as the other two beside him answered her, he smirked faintly. "We are gona have fun. You can either join us or stay here... or are you chicken? Too scared to leave momma's side?" he knew he was antagonizing her, but he really wanted to go play and explore with Aero and Kiza, and if that meant putting up with Ndizi tagging along then so be it. But he didn't want her to go cry to their mother, who would no doubt not let them do anything fun.

She was beside herself with anger, anger in herself and her siblings. It just wasn't fair! Her siblings should be proud that someone cared enough to look out for them, but instead they looked down on her. What a cruel fate caring was. Ndizi rolled her eyes in frustration and stamped her paws in the dirt. She took a deep exasperated breath, and prepared to lower her voice, but quickly failing in her determination to fit in with the group.
"NO!"
"I mean no!" she exclaimed, regaining her 'indoor' voice. "I'm not a chicken TavenÃ.... and i'm not going to tell Mom." She paused allowing her siblings time to soak that in.
"But I am going to go with you, because someone has to be the brains around here." She stood proudly, "But we can't go far! If he shows up, nothing will be able to help us.... Ndizi sighed heavily and plopped back down, finally realizing she had no clue where they were planning to go. "So where are you going, do you even have a clue?"

He couldn't help but smile at Taveni antagonizing Izzy and he chuckled and then made a hushing noise at her when she shouted no rather loud and corrected herself to an 'indoor' voice. He eyed her as she promised not to tell mother and he figured he could rely on that. He honestly didn't believe that no unwelcomed visitors would be showing up anytime soon but it wasn't a horrible thing to have that thought on the back of the mind a little bit. But as a cubs mind goes, out of sight out of mind. At least for him it was. "You can come..... I guess..." If he said no then she probably would tell mom..
"Just around... Do I ever have a plan?" He said with a chuckle as he started to bound away in the direction that looked to be most exciting to him. Hopefully nothing too crazy would happen while they were out and about. He knew he was just trying his luck with all of his exploring, but that's what boys do! They get into trouble and he was definitely one for either finding it or having it find him.Depawsit I love that your name is like Deposit. I never thought of that till just this moment... haha

Izzy had to hold in a rather loud yip of excitement at the boy's actually allowing her to go exploring with them. Or at least, she hoped it was exploring! Because if it wasn't exploring, this was going to turn into a bore fest really fast. Not for her of course, but for them. She wasn't going to let her brother's get into any trouble or danger on her watch, no way no how! Of course, she couldn't guarantee that they would listen to her either. Which is why she always had the backup plan. Code: Momma. And if Momma wasn't around, Code: Nearest Adult. That was guaranteed to keep those boys in line and she knew it! But what they didn't know was that she tried not to have to use her not so secret weapons. She tried to solve the situations herself as much as possible. She only wished they would listen to her more often that they chose to. It would make all of their lives so much easier! She sighed heavily enough for all of them to hear after Areo made his comment. "Of course you don't have a plan! That's so like you! Y'know, perhaps making a plan would keep you out of trouble more often Areo!" Rolling her eyes, she climbed to her feet to stalk after her brother. Glancing both ways to ensure Mom wasn't watching. She hated to sneak away, but it was for the good of everyone. She obviously wasn't going to be able to talk them out of going. She might as well tag along and keep them out of further trouble. "Alright, lets get this show on the round!" She yipped happily, her paws bounding happily upon the ground as she caught up with her brother. AstoriaFallen Haha! Yep, I used to use this account to store all my items I wasn't using. But then my old account was hacked, and I moved over to this one, and even after my account was fixed, I just never moved back. I just decided to stay on this one ^^

Areo tolerated her comment and just let it roll off his shoulders. At least she was being cooperative so he couldn't really argue that point. He definitely wanted to get the show on the road and wondered what might be in store for them today! Exploring was always such a fun and wonderful thing and you always learned different things, well sometimes. Most of the time a lesson was never learned and lots of trouble was created. 'Twas the good life right there.
In his excitement he looked over at his siblings and gave a smirk of a grin and with that charming little voice said "Betcha can't keep up!" And with a pounce and a dash he was off like the wind his little legs carrying him as fast as he could as he bounded away in no set direction. After a moment he looked back to see who all was still there and it seemed he was yet to be surprised by his oh so lovely sister.
