Kwatoko was, once again, out exploring without his trainer. his last few excursions had turned up interesting results and he hoped this one would be no different. He stopped and peered around, silently cursing his small stature and the height of the grass. He set off in a random direction hoping to find somewhere that the grass was shorter.

Kwatoko darted this was and that through the tall grass till he stumbled on a much shorter patch, he sqwaked in surprise and skidded to a stop, the change had been very sudden. He shook himself and lifted his head to look around, he almost jumped when he saw a very familiar Eevee. he remembered fighting this very same Eevee not too long ago. He eyed her warily, unsure if she would attack him again.

Kwatoko eyed her then shook his head " it... would not be wise, my trainer is not nearby and it does not seem as if your is either, if one of use were hurt we might not get medical attention for some time. However, i respect your eagerness for battle and your courage. It is a good trait to have" he commented

Kwatoko nodded in agreement " i never said we should not, you are a worthy opponent" he said before moving to meet her in the center of the small clearing "Kwatoko is my name, pleasure to meet you Masked Socks" he said and dipped his head in greeting

Kwatoko stood a little taller fluffed out his feathers proudly as she walked around to examine him " yes, you would be correct. I am the only shiny in my tribe, the markings however are common among brethren in the tribe, though not necessarily in my colors." he was proud of his colors, it made him unique among so many, and he always stood out in a crowd of Torchic. He peerd at her examining her as well " if i'm not mistaken, you are partially shiny yourself, i do not think silver is a normal color for Eevee"

Kwatoko tilted his head slightly and nodded " yes, but your markings are pretty as in" he said kindly then slipped into thought for a moment, how explain the tribe to one who has never experienced it after a moment he began speaking, a deep fondness in his voice as he spoke of the tribe and their ways " you might call them wild humans. Unlike your pale-skin humans who live in permanent towns and structures, the people of my tribe travel. Never resting in one place for long. They live off the land and respect the balance of nature about all else. They live side by side with Pokemon, to my particular tribe Torchic, Combusken, And Blaziken are sacred, so there any many of us living among them. They are our partners and friends. there are other tribes im sure, all with their own values and beliefs, but its my belief that my tribe is the best there is" he finished with a small chuckle

Kwatoko clicked his beak in amusement " who knows, it is very possible." he said then listend to her talk about her trainer " i see, i know of pale-skins who travel, our tribe was sometimes visited by them. Humans on a journey with pokemon, it is always a refreshing sight to see. In fact, it was a pale-skin such as that who inspired Cha'Time and i to strike out on our own. There is much more bonding to be had when away from the distractions of others."
