This is Eien's house. He is often alone so he usually lets other psionists stay with him or he goes over to Sen's house.

Kurayami knocked on the door to Eien's house. Since his parents had disowned him, he had nowhere to stay, and he had heard that Eien would allow psionists to stay at his house. "Hello," Kurayami called, "Eien! Are you there?" Kurayami stopped knocking for a bit and put the guitar case that he was carrying down.

Eien answered the door and said, "Oh Kurayami! What brings you to my house?"

"Oh! Hello Eien," Kurayami said, "I was coming here to ask if I could stay here. My parents kicked me out, you see." Kurayami began to nervously tug at his collar. "If it makes it any better, I'll leave when I can afford my own place."

Eien nodded his head, "I understand. There isn't a problem. Come on in. I guess you can either sleep in the spare room, my room, or on the couch. Plus my parents won't mind because neither of them are due back until the end of next month. So come in."

"Thanks, man," Kurayami responed, "I'll take the couch, I think." He walked in the house and set his things up near the couch. It was a nice house, he thought, It was a bit smaller than his old one was, but he didn't really care about that very much. It was already far superior to his old house since his obnoxious parents weren't here to tell him what to do with his life. "So," Kurayami asked, "Are you alone like this a lot?"

"Ya I am alone like this a lot. You see my parents aren't mean or anything, but they have never really been at home. Ever since I was little." Eien walked over to a table holding pictures. He slid his finger over one of him by himself smiling. "You know I must say I've never had an actual friend over before. So just stay as long as you like." Eien flopped down on the couch and gestured to the seat next to him the couch for Kurayami to sit down.

"I see," Kurayami replied, taking a seat on the couch, "That does sound rather sad. With me, it was rather the opposite. My parents are always around, but that isn't what I'd call a good thing. They always were telling me that I couldn't do things, never that I could do things..." Kurayami's mind wandered off, and he stopped talking. He kept staring at the picture that Eien was holding. He eventually recollected his thoughts, then said, "Don't get me wrong. I'm not looking for pity." Kurayami then felt a need to change the subject. "So," he asked, "What do you usually do when your parents aren't at home?"

Eien said, "I don't do much when I'm alone. Just pretty much keep the house in one piece. But once in a while I like to go to the hot springs. Other that I'm just a normal boy basically living myself. Lets see.. I also read a lot and watch anime." Eien stood up and walked over to a closet inside there were at least 10 katana swords. He picked one up with a white cover, guard, and handle. He walked over and sat back down. He held it in both hands and said, "My side hobby is to collect swords.Every time my parents actually come back home they say I have at least 3 more than last time. Heh. If they only stayed around more they would realize that I hadn't gotten anymore since they last went away." Eien gripped the sword tightly in his hand. His eyes distant and dark.

"That's an interesting hobby..." Kurayami began, then he noticed that Eien had spaced out. He walked over to Eien, and waved a hand in front of Eien's face. "Eien-kun?" Kurayami asked, "Are you all right?" Kurayami then withdrew his hand, due to the immediate danger of possibly losing the hand.

Eien's telepathy kicked in and he sensed the fear of Kurayami. "Don't worry I won't hurt you. My swords are for sparring and killing tavoo. I've never used it to truly hurt another human." Eien tilted his head back to stare at the ceiling. "The hot springs are feeling really good right now." He looked over at Kurayami and said, "Kurayami-kun... Sorry for making you worry. I really shouldn't push my problems on you since you are my guest."

"Nonsense," Kurayami replied, "I, as your guest, also shouldn't inconvenience you by making you think about problems like mine, or yours. So, it's all right. Also, I was foolish to think that you would hurt me. I honestly don't think you would do that." He then quickly changed the subject by asking, "Do you want to go to the hot springs, Eien?"

Eien smiled, "Sure that does sound nice. Do you want to go now or another time?" (Now I think I have to make a hot springs topic 3nodding )

"Sure," answered Kurayami, "Let's go now." He smiled and got up from the couch.

To be continued at the hot springs...

By the time Kurayami returned to Eien's house, it was already dark out. He remembered that he didn't have a key to the house, and knocked on the door to the house to see if Eien or Rokuro were already inside. Waiting for someone to answer the door, Kurayami put down the bag with his clothes that he had been carrying from the hot springs down, then took a seat in front of the house.
