Pressing his brown toes into the soft dirt, Jua still couldn't really wrap his head around this whole idea. He was on his own again, wasn't he? But it had been his own decision, so there was really no reason for him to doubt any of it. He knew it was the best decision for him - there was nothing for him back there anymore. Not even his own brother could convince him to stay. After all, Jua had lost most of his life in that place, as wonderful as it was. They were good memories, but he was a strong believer in recreating oneself. And after all this time, all of his old connections and bonds seemed weak and shallow, and he didn't want that. He wanted things that were real, friends that he would love for what they were. Well, what he really wanted was to just start from scratch. It seemed like the best idea, and here he was, following through with it.
Looking around, it had been awhile since he had been unaffiliated with a pack. Almost his whole family had joined the one he had just left, and it had become an everyday scenery to him. Though, he rather liked the wide open space out here. There was room to roam wherever, and no one could tell him what he could or couldn't do, or who he could or couldn't talk to. That was probably his favorite thing about this - he could know anyone without having to worry about what others thought. Though it's not like he hated where he came from; he had had a family there to take care of, even if it wasn't technically his own.
Padding along, he felt quite rejuvenated walking by himself. It was a little lonely, sure, but that wasn't anything new, or anything for him to dwell on. It was a nice day, and that's all that he really cared to focus on.
