He had went to his father during the nightly dinner and asked for him to come by his tent during the day; his intentions not mentioned, just that for his father to meet him at his sleeping area. And so he waited; his tail hanging over his hammock and his thoughts on love.
Eytucan had heard his son's plea for a meeting and could see that it was something important by looking into his sons eyes. His son Silron'zem was not one for jokes or for lies; he was truthful. He was his warrior son and there was something in having him come to his father during dinner and whispering for him to meet. So he had played it off as if his son had simply said something to him and left it at that. He waited until everyone was going to bed, which was time for others to ignore conversations beside one another's hammocks.
So he walked quietly atop the large branches that made up their hammock section of home tree until he came to his sons personal sleeping area. He lowered himself so he was laying on the branch and tapped his son on the head. "I see you Silron'zem my son." He said quietly, announcing his arrival.

Silron hadn't even heard his father approaching until it was too late. He had been busy rearranging his stuff on the weapons mantel that many of the members of their tribe had among them. His warrior mask and gauntlet, his bracelets... all the things that represented him as a warrior. He sighed, his head sagging for a moment before he sat up again and began to fiddle with it again. That's when a paw tickled his mane and he looked up; to see his father above him.
"Father! I see you." He said with a smile. A bit relieved that he was there finally.
Eytucan smiled at his son when he looked up at him and nodded his head to him. "Son, what is wrong?" He immediately asked; looking a bit worried as his it was very unlike his son to come to him about something... and he guessed it wasn't about warrior things.
"Father... Please join me..." Silron moved over and made room for his father. He looked a bit nervous and looked at his paws for a moment.
Eytucan frowned and climbed down into his son's sleeping hammock; slowly and a bit nervously. He wasn't sure what this was going to be about.

Silron adjusted more to make sure his father would have room; but it still wasn't much room. It was a single lion bed and they both were pretty large lions. He was very comfortable though as he hadn't spent some close time with his father for a while. He was very content to just be able to talk to his father without interruption or his siblings to hear. "Father... I wanted to talk to you... about females..."
"F-females... you want to talk to me about.. a girl Silron?" Eytucan blinked and looked a bit stricken, laying next to his son and really looking at him. "Of course... I will talk to you about it... tell me... is there a certain female?"
Silron looked a bit disgruntled and nodded. "Yes... Vinta... she is black with a green flame on her muzzle..." He put his paw on his own nose to show where. "She... she is so different from anyone else.. I can't stop thinking about her. I talked to her a few days ago and I just... can't stop thinking about her father... I have never felt like this... ever... how... " He adjusted himself and made his father flop around for a bit. "I don't know what to do."

Eytucan chuckled. "Son... you are in love it sounds like. I know that sounds straight forward... but I think you like her." He threw his paw over his sons shoulders and smiled to himself. His boy was in love. That was the problem? He had seen a look of absolute fear and terror in his boys eyes. And he was the first of the family to show interest in the opposite sex... even his daughter; the future queen. He chuckled. "I was pretty worried what you wanted to talk to me about... I suppose I should have known..."
"You think so?" He looked a bit nerve wracked. "I thought so but I wasn't sure... I mean there is a chance that... that I may actually love her to death... I mean... I really like her father... I think I want to ask her to be my mate someday." He looked a bit excited that his father was happy. "I mean... do you know her?"
"I have seen her yes... she is a very lovely lioness... I give you my blessings. I will have to tell your mother though, she will be all but too happy to hear such things..."

Silron looked happy and started to wiggle. "Oh father... thank you... I am so happy..." He reached over and hugged his father with a wide grin and bright glowing eyes.
Eytucan chuckled and wrapped his paws around his son and leaned against him. "Of course Silron..." He laughed and began to stand; pulling himself up on to the branch above. "I wouldn't have anything else but your happiness my son." He said, reaching down and holding his paw out to his son.
Silron reached up and put his paw in his father's and they grasped for a moment.
