Was this the pride that the birds had told her about? The...Pridelands? She could only wonder as she walked through the green grass under her mortal guise. The goddess' horn was gone, though her necklace as was her longer then usually hair. Luckily she looked enough like a mortal even with her horn showing but even the most foolish adult would know something was amiss if they were to see it. That was why she only trusted that knowledge to a few. Zimran's blue eyes scanned over the horizon, coming to rest on the large rock formation she would later likely learn to be Pride Rock. An impressive formation to be naturally forming. Perhaps it was a gift from Mkodi. Food for thought later on should a conversation arise about it.
The grass was bright hues of green, the sky was blue, dotted with white clouds. It seemed peaceful enough and pleasant enough as well. Perhaps this would be a good place to finally stop at.

Sambi sat to himself taking his long tongue and began to lick the tips of his toes; followed by a genital groom threw his mane. He then repeated the process thinking ask he groomed.
He still hadn't had any luck with the ladies to date. The last lady didn't buy his story that he was the once dead prince. And well the others kinda had been avoiding him as a liar after that. He frowned and put his paw down finishing up.
His eyes then looked out into the distance and saw a pretty white female with long hair.
"Well meeeOW."

It was becoming a better and better place to live the more she looked across the plains. Green meant rain and herd animals meant water. Both good things, though she truly didn't need food or water. They were nice but not needed. Yes, this would be a lovely place to live now if she could find out how to join a pride. Having been alone except with her family and relatively solitary by nature, approaching others was hard for Zimran to do. Her ears went back at the thought of having to approach someone. What if they said no or worse, thought she meant harm and attacked and drove her away?
Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all.

Sambi couldn't help but be drawn towards the lovely white lady. He went and brushed the top of his mane back with his paw once more then strode towards her.
"Hello there. New to these parts?"
He tried to sound as polite as he could, but it came off more flirty then anything. He was really hopeless in the scheme of things.

She was a bit taken back by the forwardness of the lion that approached her suddenly. Zimran glanced to the side, tempted to run now that she was finally confronted since all of her fears were suddenly at the forefront of her mind. "I...I am." The goddess managed to get out of her mouth and even those few words were a struggle to form. Once that was out of her throat, words came a little easier. "A bird told me that a pride that might suit me was around here. The...oh dear, what was it called..." And of course here memory failed her when she needed it most.

"-The Pridelands?" He finished her sentence for her since she seamed to have trouble with it. "That is the only pride around her anyway. And if your looking for it you've found it." He grinned and pointed at pride rock way off in the distance. "Your on the outskirts...but way by that big pointy thing- yea that's where most of the pride is." He nodded absentmindedly as if he was trying to impress her with his big man knowledge.

"Oh! Yes, the Pridelands. The birds that told me had flown over and seen how green the land was and thought it would suit me." At least she wasn't completely lost which was something she had been scared of and this lion seemed nice so maybe they wouldn't just chase her off thinking she was an intruder. Just that thought brought a smile onto Zimran's face. Her blue eyes trailed from his face to the rock formation in the distance. Ah, so she was right about Pride Rock! "I see. It definitely looks big enough from here. I'm sure it's only bigger up close." Zimran's attention fell back to the currently unknown male lion. "Thank you..." Then it hit her, she didn't even know his name! "Oh dear, I"m sorry. I don't believe I know your name."

"I'm Sambi." He puffed out his chest. "Not to be confused with Simba. He's some kind of dead prince. I'm not dead." He bit his tongue at how stupid he was sounding. He then rubbed the back of his head with embarrassment.
"Oh but don't worry. He didn't die recently. The pride is really friendly and all. It was just bad luck before I got here." Yea that sounded even better then his first line.
"Eh just forget what I said...lets start all over again. Sambi. Name is Sambi."

Ah, she could see why people would confuse him with the dead prince, Simba. Zimran was old, old enough to have heard of the deaths from the plague that had ravaged many prides and taken many lives what seemed like so long ago. The goddess couldn't help but laugh softly at the male's attempts to impress her with his words. "Well Sambi, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Zimran." There was no need to use a fake name, at least not in her opinion. Her family and name most likely did not extend this far yet. As far as she knew, Xiu Xiu, Eir and Airion were the only ones to actually have children, where those children were was another story since her sister never talked about them, she hadn't seen Eir since...since she woke up and Airion, well she knew where those children were, a pride called the Tuait'tekem.
"I suppose I would need to approach Pride Rock in order to seek entrance into the pride?"

Something struck Sambi about her name. It was important in some way or another. He just couldn't put his thumb on it that she was a goddess. Oh well it was probably for the best. She didn't need him drooling all over her more then he was anyway. "Well yea. Generally your pretty much accepted once you enter the borders as long as you don't plan on killing anyone."
He looked her over in a non-suggestive way. "And I think you look too nice to be killing anyone. So you should be good from this point on. Though if you like I could help you about..." And er follow you about like some kind of love struck puppy... "If that's ok with you anyway?"

Of course she was little taken aback by even the mention of her killing someone. There was no way the goddess of purity could ever take a life, but then she remembered, Sambi likely thought she was a mortal. That would explain that. Zimran smiled and nodded to him. "That would be lovely." Any help to make sure she didn't get distracted or do something wrong would probably be nice. She walked up beside him, pausing for a moment before continuing on towards Pride Rock.

"Great!" He smiled and took his spot next to her. He then proceeded to lead them both forward like some kind of tour guide. Sambi couldn't be more happy, he had made his first friend today.
