Now that he felt a little more accused to being on the island, Jason felt it was high time he did something more then hide in his room or the library, and actually explore his surroundings. He knew a little about what facilities there were from the lecture, but apart from the mere basics, he was still very lost. So in order to rectify this, he needed to go and talk to more of the senior hunters here. With this in mind, he ventured out of the dorms and down the pathway, trying to remember the location of the classrooms.
The problem was, he didn't know who he should approach. As far as he was concerned, they all looked intimidating, and he didn't want to approach any of them. Not to mention that if any of them happened to be like the lecturers themselves...
He shuddered. No, perhaps he should just retreat back to his room for now...

Coming on out of his room, Deryk decided that now was a good time to grab himself some coffee and maybe a snack. As for what to do after that, he wasn't entirely certain yet, but he'd figure it out! Just as he exited his room, he spotted someone walking down the hall towards the back. The guy look vaguely familiar.
Oh! It was one of the lambs. He was sure of it. While he didn't talk to him, he did recall seeing the guy during the awakening.
"Oh hey!" he greeted. Now seemed as good of a time as any to get to know a fellow trainee a little better.
That is, if the other guy wasn't too busy and all.

Someone was there? He was pretty sure he had been alone. Turning around to see who it was-
...Holy s**t it was that guy from assassins creed? And considering that was the first thing that popped into his mind
"ASSASSIN!" Jason all but shouted, backing into the wall and holding his hands up into a defensive position. "I mean- I-I-I I'll do my duties sir! I'll do them just don't assassinate me!" He had no idea what duties he was talking about, he was just saying anything to get the guy to back off.
Meanwhile, his head ringed with the voice of his weapon, zanthvos, was trying his utmost best not to burst into laughter.

Deryk jumped at that reaction really, having not expected it. In fact, he ended up looking around to see if there was really any danger about. It took him a split second that the guy meant him.
"What? Oh! Nononono. Not real assassin. Not apart of the creed. Just looks the part. Weapon's a hidden blade. Couldn't resist. Um. Relax?" he offered with a weak chuckle while holding his hands up to show that he didn't mean any harm.
Tooley was rather amused with all of this, as she giggled quietly in his mind.

It was quite odd to see the guy practically jump, but then then he wasn't to concerned about how odd that was, but more about weather he was about to be shanked. Thankfully this wasn't the case. It took a few more moments for Jason to calm himself down, realizing that he had, of course, jumped to a conclusion and made a complete dumbass out of himself. With a sigh, he hung his head.
"Y-yeah..sorry about that." He looked up guilty. "I'm...uhh, not used to being around so many people in hooded coats. With giant threatening weapons to boot. It's put me on edge." It was a interesting thing for him to say, considering he was now sporting a coat and a huge as weapon himself.
He then paused when he heard the guy mention he had a hidden blade. "Ah, I see, so thats why you dressed up like that...heh...you do look pretty cool in the outfit now that I think about it" instead of sitting there screaming.

"Ah. Though not everyone has a big weapon. I don't. Be kinda hard for hidden blade to be hidden when big. And hehe. Thanks! Managed to augment the coat myself. Figured it'd be suiting," he grinned widely, "Don't quite got the skills of Altair or Ezio. Not now at least. Maybe.. one day."
Shaking his head, Deryk soon realized that he didn't have a name here.
"Oh! Right. I'm Bond. Deryk Bond. Uh. Pleasure to meet you. Saw you in the last batch of awakened trainees. Didn't catch your name though."

He altered the coat himself? Jason was impressed with how he had fixed the coat to make him look like the characters out of the game. (He also wondered if he'd be able to play the game himself. He hadn't gotten that far when he played it last...sigh).
"Oh, thats right" He said when Deryk introduced himself. "I'm Jason Kenneth. It's a pleasure to meet you too. " He ran his hand through his hair awkwardly. "I was the last one to wake up, so I got to the class late." The trainee looked rather nervous now, remembering the little 'demonstration' on Dr.H's part
He thought for a moment, then went on. "Umm...the lecturers..I mean the division leaders" He corrected himself. They weren't just teachers, they were leaders. "Are they...all, like that?"

The other guy still seemed a little nervous. Deryk hoped he didn't still think he was going to kill him! That was nonsense. He wouldn't kill any of the other trainees.
"Ah right right," he nodded, "And uh. Not really sure. Never met the Sun or Moon division leads. Caelius.. you hadn't seen him yet but he's a real strict guy. Kinda a jerk too. His stand in isn't much better it seems. H is weird. Aria is pretty normal from what I've seen."

Jason nodded as each of the division leads were listed, making notes on weather to approach them or to just stay away. Though it seemed that most of them were people he didn't want to piss off, which wasn't a good thing for him.
"Caelius huh...." He thought out loud. He had a feeling he really didn't want to get close to that guy. "I'll have to be wary of him...Although" he added uneasily. "Dr H seems to be someone to keep away from. Considering he....k-killed that assistant." Okay, it was a doll, but he didn't care.
"Which division are you from?" He then asked to distract himself. "I believe I was put into the Moon division, and they are based on healing and. defense."

"He did that during my orientation too. Get the feeling he does that every time. Poor Clarice. Wonder if she could grab a substitute one of these days," Deryk mused before grinning to Jason, "Me? Death division. All intel and stealth and whatnot. That sort of thing. Moon division is pretty cool.. Got some interesting people there. There's uh.. Julie. Leader assistant. She's uh. Interesting. Can't tell if I like her or not. Kinda crazy I think. Not in the same way as H though. Like.. Dunno how to describe. But she's something. Yes."

"Really? He did that to you as well?" Jason seemed quite shocked at this. Why would he continuously try to do something like that. Now he felt sorry for Clarice for having to put up with that.
Hearing Deryk describe what the death division was about, the trainee couldn't help but smile. "It sounds like you're in the perfect division" He remarked. "You'll be able to hone your skills and improve them in no time." Just as long as he didn't use him to improve those skills on.
He then seemed to get nervous again as Deryk went on explain about their moon division assistant. He wasn't sure what to make of Julia from what he was hearing, and it made him rather worried. If this was the person he had to take orders from....
I-I see..." He also noted at this point, that Deryk seemed rather..Hyper. If that was how he would describe him. He spoke rather quickly, as if he had had a few too many red bulls. Jason didn't mind though, considering he was gaining alot of usefull information from him.

Nodding at the question about H, Deryk also couldn't help but continue to grin at the mention of being put into the right division. He just hoped at some point he'd be able to use his skills in hacking to figure stuff out. That seemed to fit the job description pretty well in itself. At least he felt that way.
"Yep! Moon division is all about defense. Little bit of healing too. Think you're up for that? Hm?" he grinned.

"Healing should be alright for me" Jason said with a smile. "I was studying to become a doctor before, so I know a little about first aid. As for defense..." He faltered. "I'm not so sure. I've never used a sword before, and the thought of fighting all those....things, terrifies me." He looked down at the ground, feeling ashamed at admitting his fears. "There isn't much that wouldn't scare me, to be honest. I'm afraid of just about anything. Hell, even a shadow or a loud noise will make me jump."

Deryk's eyes lit up. So Jason had a sword? SWEET! Though, he had to wonder what kind. He was aware there were multiple types.
"Nothing a little bit of practice couldn't fix! Your weapon should give tips too. At least Tooley does. Sort of. Kinda indirect she is. But she still helps or gives some advice on what to do. Good idea to listen to partner. They know more about Halloween than we do. Doing research doesn't hurt either," he advised.
As for the fear bit, he paused. Well, that might explain why the guy seemed so jumpy at first.
"Hmm.. maybe you'll get used to it? They aren't.. uh.. too scary all the time. I think."

Tooley, huh? That must of been Deryks weapon. It was a interesting name, that was for sure. At least it was easier to pronounce then Zanthvos.
"I'll defiantly be practicing, as much as I can" Jason promised. "And I'm sure Zanthvos will help me...well at least, I'm pretty sure. Sometimes I can't tell weather he's lying or not.> He also seemed to spend half his time laughing, but Jason wasn't about to mention that.
<"Excuse me, but I don't spend half my time laughing!"> Said weapon protested. <"and I'm always telling the truth. Even now">
"I....hope I will get use to them" He went on, choosing to ignore Zanthvos for now. "It's just hard, knowing that not far away, just waiting to tear me to pieces..." He shuddered at the various memories of the shadows he had seen over his life, always reaching out, trying to pull him in.
