It was late. Really late. The bars would be closing soon, and already their inebriated young patrons were stumbling out, loud and noisy. Nyasa, quite and indifferent, standing off to the side, didn’t quite fit in, but most people either didn’t care or were too drunk to notice. It was for precisely that reason that Nyasa had chosen to come here.
Nyasa spent a great deal of time as Captain Mica, and as such made regular trips to Negaverse subspace and The Rift. Said trips were unremarkable; routine, even. Normally she’d turn in what energy she’d collected, give her report, deliver supplies – whatever her errand was – and then leave. She didn’t dally on her trips and usually nothing happened to make her break her routine. Usually. Her last trip to The Rift, however, had resulted in her being given a rather troublesome assignment.
That was what brought her hear, to this strip of bars frequented by college students. Her mark worked here. Now she just had to wait for her to put in an appearance

School was the worse at the moment for Makayla, so bad that she wasn't doing much with her duties dealing in the Negaverse. She was suppose to be patrolling with her boyfriend, and collecting energy daily. This however, wasn't happening. At least, not in the past four months. She was tied up in classes, homework, and work. Just finding time to do anything else seem impossible. The fact she was able to call Caleb in between classes, say 'I love you' to him, she was very surprised she still had him as her boyfriend.
So it was no surprise when she and the manager were the last out of the club. Her back hurt, just from all the drink orders alone.
"Why don't you let me take you back to my place Makayla. I could give you a nice back massage."
This was a conversation she heard every night. And every night, she would shake her head and give him a small smile "Can't, classes first thing. You know how it is." pulling her hair back up into a ponytail, she gives him a wave, leaving her manager to lock up the place.
She didn't even notice another being around, or she would have stopped. Pulling her keys out of her pocket, she rubs at her eyes as she makes her way towards her car.
With the bars closing, the trickle of people leaving them now were more likely to be workers. So far, she hadn’t seen the person she was looking for, but at last a likely suspect appeared. Young, female, bar employee; it was certainly more likely that she was the one Nyasa was looking for then the fat old man who had been the last person to walk past her.
“ Makayla Dolan?” She called out.

Stopping just a few feet from her car, Makayla turns her dark eyes towards the woman who called out to her. Arching a brow, she looks her over for a moment. She wasn't anyone from the bar, that much was for sure. Turning her body fully to face her, she kept her keys in her hand, just in case.
"Who the hell are you?" she didn't like random people knowing who she was. She give her the first name, as she could of heard it from her manager. Her last name though, yea something wasn't right.
Not a friendly reaction, but that was expected. It was good, actually; at least Nyasa knew she wasn’t dealing with some totally naïve fool.
“ Name’s Nyasa.” She said, pushing off the wall and walking a bit closer to the younger woman. “ I’ve come to talk to you about an assignment.”
It was said blandly enough, as if she were simply referring to some tedious college paper, but her eyebrow ticked up purposefully at the end.
“ Perhaps we should go somewhere warmer? I’ve no desire to suffer this weather longer then necessary.”
Nyasa hoped Makayla was halfway intelligent, because she had no desire to spell this out any more then she already had.

Nyasa got her wish, as Makayla picked up instantly the word suffer. Just to prove it, her hand moved right to the middle of her chest. Her eyes narrow some as she takes a step back from the woman. "How about you explain this assignment to me first, then I'll decide if I allow you to come anywhere near me. Or I just wipe your face off this planet."
Makayla wasn't one to play, not when it comes to someone maybe knowing she had something to hide. For all she knew, this woman could be one of those goodie good senshi of the white moon.
Last thing she would do was walk right into a trap from one of those monsters. She go down fighting first.
Makayla’s reaction was exactly what it should have been, and yet Nyasa snorted at the threat.
“ I have been assigned as your partner, to tutor you. I doubt you'll be "wiping" me anywhere.”
She paused, then added flatly, “ Your absence has been noted.”
As active soldier in the Negaverse and a regular contributor, Nyasa did not think highly of those that shirked their duty. Her thinned lips betrayed her opinion on the matter, and it was one of the first problems she planned to rectify in her new “partner.”

Makayla arches a brow as she lower her hand to her side. Shaking her head for a moment, she finds herself laughing "Wait, I already have a partner." she paused as she chews on her bottom lip. Her eyes never left Nyasa, as she wasn't really sure she could trust her yet.
"Who are you really? I can already narrow down the fact your not from the other side, seeing as you know I haven't been able to keep up with my duties." it wasn't like she wasn't trying, but what could she do?
She needed to go to school, in order to have a roof over her head. Had to pass her classes in order to have that same roof over her head. Work, well, it was so she had money in her pocket.
“ Some might also call me your keeper or handler, but I figured ‘partner’ was a nicer term.”
The tone of Nyasa’s voice indicated that she was viewed this as merely a statement of facts, not an insult, and to her it was. Corrupt Senshi were still looked down upon for having been White Moon Senshi in a previous life. All the details varied, many soldiers of the Negaverse were of the opinion that Corrupts needed to be watched, and that Corrupts had to make up for their past crimes, regardless of whether or not they actually remembered committing them.
As for who she was, Nyasa was not about to say her name in public without being in uniform. Instead she merely said, “ I’m a Captain.”
Unwilling to continue the conversation here, Nyasa continued,“ I’m not saying anything else in public. Relocate, power-up, whatever; pick a way for me to prove myself discretely so we can get this ******** part over with.”
The choice of language certainly revealed what Nyasa's voice and body language didn't: she was fast wearying of this back and forth, of trying to explain herself without revealing herself.

Makayla eyes Nyasa for a few minutes before she turns on her heels. Without a word, she moves down the street a little before she ducks back into an alleyway. Reaching for the ladder to an emergency escape ladder, she pulls it down carefully before climbing up it. It wasn't her first time using this ladder to get up on top of the roofs. She did this often when she was on break at work, the need to just get away from everything for a moment.
Stepping up onto the roof, she turns to watch Nyasa. She still didn't trust her, and sure as hell didn't want to get jumped while she wasn't looking. Placing her hand on her chest again, she spoke very softly to herself.
Within moments, her clothing seem to melt away from her as her body took on a dark blue glowing form. Her hands kept close to her chest the whole time as her sailor fuku forms over her body. Her hair that was actually down was now up partially in a messy bun. Pulling her hands back, a jewel attached to her top hid and protected the crystal that rested in the opening of her chest.
Opening her eyes slowly, she stood there as Euclase, the Senshi of Suffereing.
Nyasa stayed rooted to her spot, arms crossing over her chest as she watched Makayla’s progress. The woman clambered onto the roof, and in a transformation more showy then her own – not that that was saying much – Makayla was replaced with Euclase. Nyasa made a silent gesture of clapping and, having already scanned for onlookers, walked into the alley. She briefly pressed into the shadow of a doorway, then emerged as Captain Mica.
The hooded Captain leapt up to the roof, giving Euclase a clinical once-over.
“ Pretty.” She said dryly. “ What’s your magic attack?”
Senshi of Suffering sounded good, but knowing how absurd some of those Moon brats were, she could very have some useless attack like “Suffer in Silence” that’d just render an enemy mute.
… actually, given the Senshi propensity for speeches, that would be useful.

Euclase frowns for a moment before she glances around. with no one in sight, she wasn't sure how she would be able to show her what she was able to do. Turning her eyes back on the captain, she holds her arms to her chest for a moment "With your permission, may I use my attack against you. Its hard to explain, other then it gives you a nasty headache at this point. I'm not sure what else it does." it was truth, she only used it once, just to see what it did.
She said nothing more, instead just waited to see how the captain would react to her asking to use her power on her.
Mica's lips curled into a wry smile, as though the very notion that Euclase had to ask to use her attack against her had humored her. It was certainly unorthodox for someone to ask if they could strike against another before doing so, but given rank and procedures to follow, Mica could see no wrong in her intentions.
With no one else around them to test it on, what choice did Mica have? She gave a polite nod, before setting her cane down, and she stood before the Senshi, hands at her side and standing perfectly still to give Euclase a prime target.
"Very well," Mica said, bracing herself for whatever may come. She showed no fear, no emotion besides slightly amusement, and she held down some anticipation for the attack. "Do it. I want to see what you are capable of."

I hope this is acceptable! Let me know if I need to change anything!

Euclase actually found herself rather surprised that Mica agreed to allow her to use her powers on her. Pushing her hand through her hair, she nods "I am sorry in advance." her words were low as she claps her hands together for a brief moment.
Slowly rubbing them together, a black aura wraps around and in between them as she barely whispers the word 'Ache' out loud. Pulling her hands apart, a glowing baseball size orb of a black blue color floats between them. Her eyes locking on Mica as she pulls her arm back, she seem almost unsure of herself for a moment. If she did this, could it be held against her?
Without another word, she throws it right at Mica's midsection.
Quote:
NAME: Ache ACTION: Clapping her hands together, she rubs them as black aura wraps around her fingers. After a couple of seconds, she pulls them back only to hold a glowing blue black orb in her hands. Pulling her hand back, she throws it at a single target that is three feet away from her. If it hits, it will sink into the person. EFFECT: If this power makes contact, it will in a matter of five seconds cause pain through the person head. This pain is very annoying, almost like that of a low-grade migrane. It is very distracting and makes it hard for the target to focus. This effect will wear off after thirty seconds. ((My next post, it will wear off)) NUMBER: She is only able to use this power twice. STRENGTH: This is a great defensive power, as it makes it harder for the enemy to focus their attacks. WEAKNESS: She has to be very focused and good at throwing. If she not accurate with her throw, she could end up missing all together and unable to use this power again.
She'd be lying if she wasn't a bit apprehensive about the incoming attack, and she reminded herself that, no matter what happened, not to be angry at Euclase for what she was about to feel. After all, being the Senshi of Suffering made it obvious what her attack may or may not do, so Mica did her best to brace her body, as she called out the attack and aimed at her midsection.
Being a woman, the pain that she was expecting would have been familiar with her monthly visitor, and given how physically active she was, she was blessed to not have to feel those cramps often. So, she felt prepared for the pain, but the moment it hit, it hit her. Hard. As stoic and strong as she was, the stabbing sensation in her gut caused her to gasp and she involuntarily wrapped her arms about her midsection and waist, and her pain was clear as day to see.
It was hard to concentrate, much less speak, and Mica tried to contain her anger as well, looking up as Euclase as her knees buckled. She DID ask for this, she reminded herself. "Suffering... you live up... to your name..."
She waited eagerly for the pain to pass, all the while thinking how fortunate they were to have someone such as Euclase on their side. She didn't want to have an enemy with this kind of power...
