Background: Xavier has been to nearly every region of the world throughout his travels. He started in Blackthorn City at 10, where he was given a Dratini at the start of his adventure. He named the little girl Safira, and raised her to a Dragonite over time. In Kanto and Johto, Safira was Xavier's only partner, taking him through gym after gym, and even through the Elite 4 that both regions shared. In Hoenn, he found 3 of his most trusted partners, a Torchic he named Phoenix, an Absol named Abigail, and a Ralts he called Vivian. When the opportunity presented itself, he trained with these 3 extensively, soon evolving both Phoenix and Vivian to their final forms of Blaziken and Gardevoir. These 3, along with Safira, were his only friends, and they helped him barrel through the region's gym's with relative ease. He didn't stay in Sinnoh long, but found another close friend of his there, a Riolu he named Lucca. The little Riolu became so attached to him, though, that it didn't take long for her to evolve into a Lucario, and she was already a higher-leveled Riolu to start with. Finally, in Unova, Xavier ran into his final partner, a little Petilil he decided to call Lily. He worked with her a lot, since she was so much weaker than the others to start with. When she had finally become strong enough, he used a Sun Stone he found in Johto to evolve the little girl into a stunning Lilligant. This dream team took Xavier all the way to the top, taking down Unova's Elite 4 with some difficulty. Since then, he has just traveled for the fun of traveling, as well as taking care of his girls.
When the issues of Pokemon and human experiments came about, Xavier was outraged. He had been a trainer for years, and never had he heard of something so heinous! He knew one thing for certain: Nothing like that was going to come close to his girls! With his vast experience, having defeated the Elite 4 in Kanto, Hoenn, and Unova, he suited up and set out as a legendary hunter for those that opposed the experiments. He knew he may run into the likes of Team Plasma, as he had briefly in Unova, but that didn't deter him.
