"Move the fan over here! Ok, ok, ok! Not so much power! Take it down to two! Gooood, goood!" multiple snaps sounded, before the voice piped up again to give direction. A new pose was made, not too far off from the last, the model being focused on maintaining his same composed, and calm expression. Blue hair fluttered around his soft, and lovely crafted face, brushing the smooth peach skin, but failed to cause any disturbance to the intense stare he held to a far of tree. His clothes for the current moment were modern, and a simple button shirt that was left open, with nice dark slacks, and a few accessories looped around thin wrists, and a slender neck. The crew had been in this spot for a little over half an hour, and were rather pleased with the result they were getting. Icirrus city was well known for it's varying temperatures, and the lovely scenery, and so it caught the eye of Felek's director. It'd been three days of them all being here, and lots of work had been getting done. The winter was barely even present in Icirrus, Spring coming early to the town. Of course the humans liked this, but Felek had found himself disappointed that he'd missed the snow in such a region. One couldn't tell by looking at him, of course, but his comfort with the colder months was fleeting slowly.
Thankfully, a storm was approaching. Though the sky's were just barely cloudy, with a proud sun all ablaze, the pengu could feel that humidity breathing it's announcement to visit the small city. the camera's paused their fervent clicking as a few wardrobe members hustled up to adjust various area's of the articles of clothes on the Piplup, who remained still, while the other models were getting changed into their second round of outfits. Such an easy job for a healthy amount of money.. even if it was a little embarrassing... He'd heard of those super popular models that were adored, and bathed in attention... definitely something he wanted to avoid at all costs. Once the crew members retreated back out of the shot, a few more directions were called out by the photographer, who had moved himself closer for different angles, the man handling the fan adjusting accordingly. The whole area was somewhat fenced off, with just a few cones placed here and there in attempts to keep random passerby's at bay... but in truth the crew didn't care all that much for Felek's comfort. A few folk had already tried to peek at the going-on's curiously, but lost interest easily and had moved along. Maybe only a few younger guys and gals would stand from afar to watch the models.. until they were shooed away for being too loud and obnoxious.

After a brief but bitter winter Tusei was ready for Icirrus's famous sunshine to return and heat up the ponds down by the moor. Being a fairly outdoorsy gijinka he took pleasure in sorting through the moor looking for troubled trainers stepping on Stunfisk to bother. This of course could be aided by the fact that Tusei was also currently unemployed and hadn't bothered leaving the city since he'd become this bipedal "work of art." The farthest he'd traveled from the town and the moor was Twist Mountain where today he returned with a couple ores to sell to an entrepreneur who solicited the PokeCenter. The dirtied gem fragments hardly scratched the surface of his purple shell of armor around his chest. Anthony hadn't left him with any money (afterall why would a pokemon need money?) so what little funding he did receive from scavenging he used to rent out a loft in town and supply himself with food. It was a humble but extremely boring lifestyle.
Grunting on his way to the center, Tusei struggled with his small pile of findings when a few gem shards fell loose. "********... stupid.. rocks... hnrngh.." he grumbled quietly to himself. He knelt down to pick them up again and scanned the area for something suitable for carrying them in when he'd caught the crowd of activity down by the moor. Why he hadn't brought something in the first place... was a mystery but regardless he picked up what he could and turned them in to the gentleman inside. By now they had known each other on a name basis and through a long series of haggling he was receiving a consistent price for his small findings. Once back outside the Drapion brushed off the dirt and sand from the cave and started to make his way down towards the moor past his loft and towards the setup of cameras and odd lighting equipment.
Keeping his distance the man eyed down the models with gray flecks of interest. It was hard not to grin when he caught the seriousness of the blue haired male currently in the spotlight. Putting his weight on one hip, Tusei crossed his arms and stood at a safe distance while watching the humans frantically dart left and right. Felek however, had an especially interesting vibe to him. In fact, the pengu reminded Tusei a lot of a water Pokemon; a thought which was not very far from the truth.

The two other models were getting rubbed down with oils, powdered on their faces of any blemishes, hair tweaked and adjusted just so, while Felek was taking his last few shots. His turn to change was soon, but he was easier to work with than the other model's... and the photographer had a tendency to get a lot of multiple shots. But eventually he got his break, as the director called out a 'cut!', allowing the Piplup to ease into a more normal position. His arms and shoulders laid back in their poised posture, and his head lowered just a smidge from it's elevated state. He stepped down from the small stump he'd been on, to join the crew preparing his next ensamble. Casually slipping off the shirt, he handed it off to a guy passing by, half-listening to the other man beside him listing off what he was going to do next. His expression remained the same from how it'd been just moments. Elegance was apparent his just the smallest of details that the Piplup held. A dignified air, if you will. Walking to the small station set up for him, mostly composed of a small fold up chair, and some bottled water by the wooden legs. The petite, stubby tail that remained from his days as a Piplup flickered in an idle motion when feeling the coming storms call... the rain's scent strong to his senses. The gesture was the subtle and rare expression of his excitement for what was to come.
As he was changing into a thin, v-neck shirt, along with a vest, his attention was grabbed by something standing out from the corner of his eye. Deep blue eyes flickered over to it immediately, locking straight onto the purple clad man... who was just... standing there, and staring... It was hard to see, or notice, but heat instantly raced to Felek's cheeks in embarrassment... eyes giving the slightest of narrows. What was he doing there..? He shifted his position to block any view of himself from the other man by standing beside a crewman, who was of course taller than he. The pengu figured the guy was checking out those greased up model's now posing in attention grabbing poses as a team. Felek would have none of that. One of the members of the group did waltz on over to Tusei to see what he wanted, raising a brow, and fiddling with the bill of his hat to loosen the tension around his skull,
'Whadda ya want, guy?' he asked the gijinka, rubbing the stubble that was itching his mug. He clearly wasn't all too threatening, just a middle-aged gent, but he was bold and a 'no-nonsense' type of human. It was one of the few times Felek was actually glad for his presence, feeling a bit more at ease, and took a slow drink from a water bottle.

What a magnificent display of fine, greased up beauty being prepared to replace the blue-haired gijinka. Tusei could not help but roll his eyes at them stepping up there only to be manipulated again later when a magazine would be published indefinitely. Still when he'd made eye contact with the Piplup something in his heart gave him a look of peaked interest. Besides Musharna, this would have been the first time he'd met another pokemon to man like himself.
Tusei's own in-human appearance was obvious lest the man really ******** loved purple. As the human of authority approached, the Drapion straightened up and folded his hands behind him. "Nothing in particular, you see.." he began, suave and calmly. It was best not to show too much interest and only once did he attempt to leer over the man's shoulder at the pengu keeping himself at bay. "I had noticed that boy he looked... awfully-"
Overhead the clouds passed over the sun giving the air around them a cool drop in temperature, one Tusei didn't mind in the least bit.
"-familiar," he grinned.

With the man being taken care of, Felek felt more inclined to relax some more, taking a seat in his chair, crossing a leg over the other, to fully take advantage of his break. He didn't even spare a glance to the other model's, honestly not caring at all what they were doing. He just stared off towards the tree's that lined the place, as well as the pond that wasn't too far off. That smell of rain was so pungent and delightful, it made the feathers on his tail rise, and the stubby limb fluff itself again with the brimming anticipation.
As much as the human was good at being a 'take charge' type of fellow, he... wasn't the sharpest. He cocked a brow with Tusei's response, turning his waist to take a look back at the relaxing pengu. Smirking, he gave a throaty chuckle, shaking his head and rubbing at his stubble again, "Ya sure about that, boy? he ain't never have any visitors. Maybe yer thinkin` of another one`a those Piplups. Most of `um look the same, anyway." he replied... clearly an ignorant gent, as well. He took another look at Felek again... an amused smirk running along his lips. It would be funny to see the uptight guy show some emotion for once... Straightening himself up, and reaching into his pockets for a box of smokes, and a lighter, he gave a glance back up to the Drapion, "Well if ya wanna give `im a visit, ya can. Just try not to get the little princess too much in a huff. We need `um in a bit." pulling out a cig, he pushed the box back into his pocket, cupped a hand around the end, flicked at his lighter, and ignited his smoke before taking a long, disgusting puff. With that, he turned and headed on back, honestly seeing nothing wrong with the guy. Seemed harmless enough!

At the mention of 'Piplup' the Drapion's expression changed, and he silently muttered 'I knew it' before returning his arms to his side. "Ah so he is a Piplup? Someone kinda like me?" he asked the man as he inclined his head. Tusei expected maybe the non-gijinka would be able to identify what he was but with that sort of intelligence it may be asking a little too much of him.
Even as he turned away Tusei remained contemplative, a grin ever present on his face until finally after stroking his chin some he chose to pursue the man back towards the model's space. He approached calmly though even with his bad-boy demeanor, inside he was thrilled to speak to another gijinka for the very first time since the dream. Forget Anthony, he had his own future to shape now.
"Excuse me," his voice melted from his mouth like butter. "Big fan. Love your show. Bought your last album," Tusei teased lightly approaching the pengu's chair. "So a Piplup huh? I'm guessing that.. you met Musharna too?" The Drapion began to lower his voice. As far as he was concerned this was the greatest thing to happen to very few lucky Pokemon and as such should be regarded with a level of pseudo-secrecy.

The man walking back rose a brow again at the final words Tusei spoke, but clearly couldn't care about any of it. He needed his smoke break, and he needed it now...
A bit too caught up in enjoying the scenery, and soaking in the humidity that was spilling into the area, Felek was delayed in realizing that someone was approaching him. By the time he did, Tusei was already close enough for a casual conversation. A slight stiffness took to his body, before relaxing, not at all giving a glance to the Drapion... Great... Just great... Already feeling the irritance start to bubble up inside him Felek began to stand, only pausing as the Musharna was brought up. That made his eyes swiftly dart over to the other gijinka, eyeing him as if he were some sort of spy, or an enemy that'd just figured out a secret that wasn't supposed to be known. How could he have known that anyway?! At first the Piplup thought that this guy might be working with that Musharna, or with the humans who'd annihilation his family.. but neither of those were probable. And so his gaze drifted off again, and he was on his feet, standing with the grandest of postures. It was lifted, but not overly done, his features laxing into a straight expression once more; the hidden signs of emotion smoothed away skillfully.
"Is there something you need? I have work to do." he replied flatly, stepping away from his chair, and the rest of the surrounding crowd, to try and get away from... who ever this was. Who did he think he was just waltzing up to him anyway?! the audacity! he started to walk towards the lake that was a ways off, water naturally giving him the calm and comfort he needed. And if that guy wanted to talk about that sort of stuff... it was best to do it in a location away from the stupid humans...

With very little attentiveness towards the human still smoking Tusei felt natural speaking to Felek. Even though... they were certainly different in species and quite obviously different in social standings... he still felt more connected to the other gijinka than he had anyone else since Anthony.
Of course it came as a surprise when Felek became evasive to his curiosity. "Wh-" Tusei snorted while the other proceeded to move along. "Hey hey hey.." Tusei caught up, his heavy armor clanking when his arms brushed his sides. Wherever Felek was going was obviously not part of the set he'd been working on. Or at least not where people were currently shooting. The mud squished under Tusei's boots, a feeling he'd much rather enjoy barefooted.
"Forgive me for being so... aggressive in my introduction. It's only that you're the first I've met that's well.. sorta like me," he flashed a smile. "I'm Tusei, I'm actually a Drapion." No beating around the bush for him. The enthusiasm was getting too hard to contain.

Felek concealed the annoyance he held when he heard Tusei following after him.. from seeing him at work... and making quite a racket too, even if it wasn't all that much. So much armor.. he clearly wasn't dressed appropriately for such a place! Another thought came across the Piplup's mind that this could be a new model or something, trying to find a friend to leech off of straight away. It made him scoff internally... Pausing a few paces from the pond, he turned his head to look back at the Drapion, showing no sign of change in his appearance from what the other man was saying.. nor doing. Feathered tail folded downwards now, no longer plump and blissful, Felek also lifted his arms to cross over his chest in a subconscious defensive gesture. The whole thing made him a bit uncomfortable really.. after all, he'd never had a friend before, and his life as a small pengu had been nothing but fighting for his life! What made this guy any different from all those other bigger Poke's..?
The colour is what somewhat alarmed him too. Purple... usually indicating a poison of some sort.. Gosh did Felek hate being poisoned.. his eyes took the briefest of tours along the full body suit, before lifting to the others eyes, not amused in the slightest by Tusei's lackadaisical demeanor. It made him slightly unsettled, if anything. Like a trap... His fingers danced a little along his arms where they rested, the water in the pond responding to the subtle motions by churning some, and rippling. With the introduction given, Felek didn't give any response for awhile, letting his eyes return to the liquid he was controlling, drawing from it a sense of ease. A Drapion... those things could take him out no problem out in the wild... but the pengu remained quiet, thinking.. absorbing the given information.. another gijinka... like him.. It didn't matter at all to Felek. He'd seen plenty. Most were as dumb as the humans...
His half-lidded eyes didn't blink as they watched the flutters and trembles of the water in the distance, even lifted to take a peek at the clouds that loomed much heavier than earlier. "I'm not sure what that mandates." so they were both gijinka. So what?

If anyone could understand the Piplups' displeasure it was Tusei. After all, how could you NOT be intimidated by him? Least that was his mindset. Felek's response though triggered a chuckle from the Drapion who proceeded to cross his own arms. "Not sure what it mandates? Are you serious? This is like.. a gift not meant to be squandered," he stepped forwards as he spoke then realized he was unintentionally raising his voice.
Lowering his lids, he cleared his throat and relaxed his composure. "Does it... really not.. impress you I guess? Being able to walk and talk like this?" he asked with a turned head. Tusei tried not to make it sound too much like an inquisition. "I just thought it was amazing that you were a Pokemon too." Tusei turned and glanced back towards the set and the rest of Icirrus before he motioned to the moor around them. "And to think I was stuck here without any sort of purpose," he smirked.

The Piplup flickered his sapphire eyes over to the Drapion when the advancement was made, initially wanting to step further away... but this was his space. He was a stubborn and proud little pengu, just like most of his kind, and wasn't about to let some... weirdo start thinking he had control of this situation, or conversation. Thus he stood firm, but kept his gaze abated, seeming to show that there was something far more interesting to look at by the pond than at the man beside him.
He didn't speak with the reply given, waiting for the appropriate time to respond to the excited gentleman. Yes. It was a gift. But he didn't care about others sharing it with him. What did it matter? As long as he had this new life live, and body to use that's all that mattered! Living a life of loneliness detached Felek from caring for others most times... unless they were small like him, and being picked at.. but that was neither here nor there. This man was no where close to being small or helpless, so those morals didn't apply here. His tiny tail flicked a few times to release the pent up frustration that he kept hidden almost perfectly behind a straight face.
" No. It does not impress me. I've seen others like us before, so the effect has come and gone." he replied casually, his tone not as bland as before, but not much friendlier either. The water ceased it's movement as his fingers did at the Drapion's final words. No purpose? A scoff was withheld.. "Everyone has a purpose.." he murmured, voice quieter than it had been before. "You just must not looking hard enough for it, or it's passed you by without your knowing." how irresponsible..

Keeping a poker face had to be hard for Felek for even the conniving Tusei was letting his inner happiness show. "Others? You mean there have been more?" he asked curiously that is until his last response sunk in.
"Or perhaps I'm looking at it right now?" Tusei was only kidding of course, but in the hopes of seeing the other's reaction he made a slight bow.
Overhead there was a soft rumble that echoed through the rolling hills of the moor. Rain could begin to fall any second and it was apparent by the sudden spike in activity around the swampy lake that it was coming fairly soon.
"So maybe I'm not meant to work with humans or anything, but for the past year I can safely say I was almost sure that was the only lot in life."

He raised a brow at the Drapion, clearly surprised by such questions. Had this guy been living under a rock? Or had he just recently changed into this form? "There are dozens. Have you not entered into society in awhile? You can find them easily." or at least... he could. It wasn't his intention to find other gijinka, but they just seemed to sprout up where ever he went! it was quite bothersome and annoying. Humans were easy to deal with, weak and stupid, but others like him... well those were who he had to be careful around...
Those trained, brilliant eyes sharpened just the slightest from the playful tone from the purple clad man... really now... Resisting the strong urge to roll his eyes, Felek simply let his eyes drift off from the ridiculous display... and up as he heard the rumble from above. It didn't take much for that to give the crew of humans a signal to start packing up. Shouts were sounded of directions given, equipment packed first, and everyone hustling back towards town soon after. Felek was called for, but the Piplup didn't budge. He wanted to stay in this rain awhile... it'd been a sometime since he'd enjoyed the nice rain...
He doubted this guy would stick around for it though, eyes sliding back to the strange character before him. So strange... "Well maybe you need to start rearranging your priorities... and your goals in life, or you may just end up standing still all your life. Like you seem to be right now."

"Haven't been anywhere outside Icirrus," Tusei shrugged. "To be perfectly honest if Anthony hadn't dumped my a** here then maybe I wouldn't be in such a dilemma." The man folded his arms behind his back again like he had when he'd approached and glanced down as he heard a quiet patter by his ear. A rain drop trickled its way off his shoulder and the Drapion smiled pleasantly. That was... one thing he missed. Getting to swim around in the puddles at the moor as a Pokemon. Now it just looked silly and wasn't nearly as fun with just two legs.
As if to one up the Piplup's snide remark he rocked on his heels and glanced back at the troop of humans packing their things up. "You know anywhere a fighter would wanna be?" he asked. The first thing that came to mind was Nimbasa but Tusei didn't know if their 'arenas' were strict about who could attend. Gijinka's threw a new dynamic into his situation.

He hadn't been outside of this city? That in itself was a bit... well, it explained a lot, clearly. "How long have you even been..." his voice trailed off. Why was he asking questions? He didn't care! It was probably because he was still a little ticked, peeved, and flustered from being discovered. And if this gent was a native to the town, and as... 'lively' as he was, there was a possibility he might embarrass the Piplup in public. Felek could only hope that the trip here didn't last as long as proscribed... His eyes lowered too as he felt the cool droplets dot onto his clothing, being absorbed almost instantly as it soaked and touched the tender skin beneath. It wouldn't be a cold rain, but one with a little humidity, thus making for a luke warm water temperature. Though he was accustomed to the chilled downpours, a nice rain was a nice rain!
With the sprinkle starting up, there was a significant wave of relaxation that washed over Felek. It might not be visible to the naked eye, but he was feeling far more comfortable with the water on his side. His fingers felt like they were tingling with the repressed excitement, tiny tail fluffed once more to show that subtle pleasure. He let his attention rest on the Drapion once more, considering the question actually... a little thoughtfully. "There's a gym here. I suppose that might be your answer." having been a wild Pokemon, he didn't know all the in's and out's of those things, but... he'd heard enough to know that only the 'strongest' Pokemon fought there. But he took another once over Tusei, "Though I'm not certain you can still attend their festivities in such a state."
