He was proud of himself. With Sabia off finding the boys, to give them his message, it left him some alone time. He sauntered to the watering hole, feeling the thirst start its desire in his throat. Boredom had begun creeping up on him, and he was trying to think of ways to keep himself amused. Sure it was nothing like a roll in the hay with a little demoness, but.. He would easily grow bored of her company if he continued to stick around. This bit of alone time was welcomed.
Spending time plotting with Sabia, and finding ways to kill the brothers that had turned his games around on him.. Had left him a bit off in the ways of his romancing. The first thought that popped into his head, was to play the same old games he was so fond of. Feeling a bit more of a bounce in his step, the ebony lion almost had a bit of an anxious feeling dwelling within his chest. He should do this more often, it was so exhilerating!

Three days, she'd made it this far without being caught up by any of her brothers. It was a good sign, last time she'd been given a guilt trip from her father about leaving her mother all alone. As the only girl in her family she was the one guaranteed a home in the pride, but she didn't want it. Males fighting for her attention, that part she liked, but she had never been the sort to dream of settling down and raising a big brood of whining mouths.
She had better things in store. She was beautiful, smart, funny, dad had always said so. She could have anything she wanted and it was all waiting for her just out there, in the wilds. Right now though, she was dirty. It made her skin crawl, seeing her patterned fur dulled so badly. She smelled water, and something else peculiar, and headed toward it.

His eyes locked on the snow white pelt of the female. He couldn't help but look her over appreciatively. He was not the prince charming type that he could claim to be. In fact, he was downright nasty. He smiled a mischevious grin that only formed on one half of his face and stood a bit taller. He had to make a good impression if he was going to have her be his pawn. He was rather lucky, she had just sort of delivered herself to him.
Clearing his throat he stepped from the shadows. He watched as she stepped closer to the water, and stopped a few feet away from her. No need to terrify her yet.. After all, he was going to need her willing.
"Now.. I ask myself.. Why exactly is it you are wandering all alone? The world is a dangerous place." He said, no form of malice in his voice. Ooh he was good at what he did.

Samia watched with a critical eye the way the sun reflected off his pelt. Dark, much darker than any of her brothers, with none of the bright flashes that lit up her father's coat. She liked it, it was new. Dangerous? Her ears perked up. All the stories of danger she'd heard were full of such heroics, such intrigue. That might be just the way to catch her break in the world. "Oh? I can handle myself," she said coyly, sitting back on her haunches as she looked him over more critically, "Are you dangerous then? You are out in the world after all."

She seemed to be able to hold her own. He wasn't sure how much of it was real or how much was show but he supposed it didn't matter. He smiled, and looked her in her lovely eyes. His eyes, yellow like a wolf gleamed back at her. "I'm the least of your worries, I am sure." He said, though his thoughts were much more vile. 'If only you knew..' He thought. He was probably one of the most dangerous in the area at the moment.
"What is your name, beautiful? Surely I can't just call you beautiful.." He winked at her and chuckled to himself.
"The name is Crue. Pleasure to meet you, miss." He said, and put a paw to his chest and bowed his head. He was a pretty good actor, he reveled in the fact.

"You could," she said with a slightly hesitant laugh. She wasn't used to males behaving this way, back home they always just fought with each other until a female took a liking to them. Then they got lazy like her father, or left altogether. It was the females that bantered and bonded. But, she could admit she liked the attention, and the appreciation. There had never been enough of that, no one to point out how truly special she was or what she could do with herself. "Samia though, is my name I mean," she added, holding herself up a little straighter as he bowed, "I'm sure it is given the scenery, what are you doing way out here anyway?"

"Well I am a wanderer, my dear. And wandering is what I do." He said, as if it was quite obvious, and smiled once again. He watched her move, the muscles sliding under her pelt. She was lovely, and perfect for keeping him entertained.
"Pleasure to meet you, Samia. Not to worry though!" He said, his eyes taking an uplifting gleam as he went for supportive. He was gagging at his act in his mind, but he was rather proud of himself. He just knew others actually LIKED being nice like this. Bah.

"Worry?" she asked, puffing her chest up as she moved to drink from the lake. It was clean enough, but nothing like the water that ran off from the mountains near home. It would take some getting used to, though she was sure she could find another place like home if she tried. But not too much like it, she needed somewhere fresh to shine. And he was a wanderer, then perhaps he knew a place like that. "I don't think I need to worry, I've been fine on my own since I left, mother didn't even catch me leaving. Smooth and silent, like a whisper." She brushed the water from her face and turned back to him, "So where are you from anyway, mister wanderer?"

She asked him questions that made him want to chuckle. As if he would answer her honestly.. It would be hilarious to tell her he was from the demons, just to see the look in her eyes. Though he really wasn't from there anymore, and his home was now the rogue lands. He hadn't been able to deal with the structure. He did things on his own time.
"I was born in the jungle. I guess that could make me mysterious and brave, right?" He asked with a half grin.
"Ah, but I digress my dear. Your mother is now predator trying to hunt you down. Being on your own, is terribly dangerous." He said, mock seriousness on his features.

"Or poisonous," she countered, feeling herself spectacularly witty. Father had told her some about his own wanderings, but he was old and his stories often littered with holes. She knew of snakes that slid along the ground, but not those that walked on four legs and could wrap themselves around you before you knew it. A predator? There couldn't be many that could take on a full grown lioness, which she considered herself to be. Of course, it couldn't hurt to stay close by him. After all, it would be getting dark soon and it was always safer in a group. "You seem to have managed it alright."

He grinned. Poisonous. Ah, what a great word. He supposed she was right. There was plenty out here that could poison her. And if he truly got his way, one of those predators would be himself.
"I must just be lucky. I've had my own share of run ins that did not end too nicely. I know how to survive. A good trait, don't you think?" He asked, raising an eyebrow and smiling.
"I am going to be heading to my den here in a moment. It is not too far from here, but it will get you out of the darkness. Danger lurks in the dark, sweets, and you never know from which direction it will come in."
He stood, and smiled at her.
"Come with me." He said. He made it sound like a request, but really it was more of a command. He was going to bring her with him, if she wanted to go or not.. That would ruin the game though, and he wanted this to continue.

He made her head swim, in a way she liked it. His words felt like silk, flattering but still a little mysterious. Samia smiled coyly, turning her head when he commanded her, "And where are we going?" We, she liked that too. She was proving everyone wrong already. Strong, alive, and now with a very keen partner. Of course he wasn't the sort she could see herself spending forever with, but she couldn't see that with anyone really, but he would serve a purpose for now. "Some secret shelter you have stashed away?" Useful, very useful if he had a nice warm place for her to spend the night. She might even have a bit of fun with him.

When she accepted his advances he stepped closer, breathing into her ear just a bit when he spoke to her. "We could dissappear for days, its so secret. Come with me." He coaxed again. His voice held a lot of promise, though it was promise for the darker things. She seemed willing enough to follow, and that itself was a step in the right direction.
"It'll be fun. You'll see." He grinned.

Samia shivered, convinced the sensation came from his breath. Her eyes narrowed as she found herself pulling toward him. "Fun," she repeated, though she didn't seem entirely aware she'd said the word. To disappear from the world, with him especially, had a mysterious quality that sounded as if it would fit just perfectly into the tapestry of her life. A little intrigue could help you make a name for yourself after all.

He had her. He knew he did. All he had to do was get her into his den, where she wouldn't be able to escape. He needed to get into her head, and he thought he had done a damn good job of that. Usually he ended the game here, and bullied the female until she did as he wanted. But he really didn't feel like beating this one. She was delicately pretty, and though he wanted to defile her he had no desire to cause her death.
"Follow me." He purred, and let his tail flick under her chin as he began to walk into the trees of the forest. He just needed tog et into the darkness, then she was his.
