Name: Enekpe
Meaning: Goddess of Family/Guardian of Destiny, offered herself as a sacrifice to save her people. (African)
Gender: Neuter (refers to self as female)
Species: Evolved Aerlian Pooka
Influence: Sacrifice
Appearance:
Size: Small! Similar to a medium-large housecat, about 14 pounds.
Eyes: Amber.
Wings: None. Had small moth wings, but they've been pulled off.
Ears: Long and pointed, with one jagged/tattered-seeming edge.
Feet: Hind legs end in paws, front in cloven hooves.
Fur: Scruffy! Light gray-brown with darker stripes on her shoulders, body, and hind legs, as well as darker frames around her eyes. Dark red 'splatter' markings on her left shoulder and front leg, as well as on her cheeks.
Other: A short, fluffy tail as here, and a similar crest of feathers in dark brown. Small goat horns. Kikechum's jewel in her chest.
Personality: Enekpe is optimistic and innocent, and childish despite being an adult. She was extremely sheltered during her youth, and it shows. Her knowledge of the world is limited at best, which leads to an honest curiosity and many questions, but also a certain amount of gullibility. Though she's learned the hard way that not everyone should be trusted, she desperately wants to be near people, and will take the risk of being hurt over being alone. She still trusts easily, and will usually believe what she's told, outside of obvious falsehoods.
What she wants more than anything is to be safe and loved again. To that end, and because she is influenced by Sacrifice, she will do and give most anything that is asked of her.
History: Enekpe was created by the merging of two 'original' pooka: tiny creatures with intelligence comparable to parrots. The evolved pooka that result, like Enekpe, are much larger (comparatively), as intelligent as any human, and capable of speech. Upon hatching from her egg, she bonded to the woman who would be her keeper, Anna Marie Mahan.
She was kept, more or less, as a housepet, albeit a highly intelligent one, until Anna's death at the beginning of Gehenna. With this, En was set adrift in a very large, very dangerous world, where her small size would be both advantage and disadvantage. By the time her journey brought her to the Pantheon, the End had been averted, though she remains unaware of what really happened or why.

Minor Summon: Summons to serve k**e a few of whatever animals are around and indigenous to the area. They don't get any more intelligent that they were, they're still animals. So at best they can follow simple commands like 'fetch', 'sit', 'attack' , 'guard', etc.
Minor Aspect Form: k**e herself can shapeshift a part of herself or others into a different animal adaptation. Example - suddenly submerged in water with two friends, k**e can give them all webbing between fingers/toes to be better at swimming. Or gills.

Mother's Heart Part 1 - Discovery!

Kikechum before the Fading used a very specific artifact as an aid to 'call' to the Hearts of all Beasts. This item was a gift from Hunt and was infused with the combined mana of Hunt and k**e herself. Regaining this artifact would definitely boost Kikechum's powers; she wants it, Precious. Have her remember or dream about the item, have it nag at her until she decides to GO GET IT.

Memories and dreams are great, but that doesn't tell you where the artifact is located! Pay a visit to the Library and speak with one of the Aoide or Gods working to restore it; they can help you find whatever texts remain to aid Kikechum in locating likely places that her artifact would be.
-----One tome refers to a Sacred Cave on the mountain Agdistis and has a cryptic reference to the guardians of old as well as something about bloodlines of the proud
-----One tome, a bestiary, should speak of the Guardians of the Cave - 10 humanoids called Dactyls that were anointed by the Beast Mother and a very strong Leonine Aoide that guarded the Dactyls and their treasure(s). There is reference that the guardians were not named, but numbered.

Part 2 - SOMETHING HAPPENS!

+ blah blah blah, go find the damned lion pride mentioned in the books. Convince them that Enekpe IS Kikechum, Goddess of Beasties. The pride-leader is the descendant of the great leonine aoide- he needs to dredge through the pride memories to get the location of the Sacred Cave on the mountain.
+ Make post regarding awesome ceremony to remember info biggrin
+ GET GOING TO THE MOUNTAIN.
+ Discover skeleton of MASSIVE LION THING on steep, dangerous trail upwards. TAKE THE FOSSILIZED EYE, a claw and one fang.
+ Go up the mountain to the cave with 3 new items
+ Cave mouth open, ruin-looking place kind of like a small temple in cave. All light and pretty. There are 10 places where a person could stand, but only 3 are filled. When En steps in, they wake and ask what she's doing, etc...
+ show lion items to Dactyls. magic leftovers from 3 pieces are used to help 2, 5 and 9 (Dactyl's have no names, just numbers) to bring the lion forth. Lion spirit comes forth and gives k**e the drum b/c he recognizes her. yadda yadda
+ Now Dactyls can sleep forevars, no need to wait for goddess to reclaim her item; they all go bye bye.
PROFIT!
and k**e gets the Bestial Tympanum aka Mother's Heart. blah blah blah, quest over. :V
