Her performance in the battle arena had been pathetic. Five attempts? Aria had said mistakes were okay but five attempts? ******** no. That was unacceptable. Candace refused to let that be her 'best' effort, but she was well aware that if she wanted to do well she would need some help. Help preferably from a Life hunter...from a Life hunter who would actually help her. This immediately struck at least three Lifes from the list. One that she knew for sure would help her? Clarice. Because Clarice was awesome.

Plus it helped that she was feeling in better spirits since the other day. Jerry had been acting very..uh...different! And she was thoroughly enjoying where it was leading up to. That and her leg was finally healed up and bandage free. So it was with a cheerful hum and a bit of a skip in her step that Candace approached Clarice's office, knocking on the door frame and peeking in. "Hey pretty lady~. You busy?" Candace asked with a smile, holding onto the doorframe and practically hanging into the room. "Was wondering if you would like to join me in a game of extreme jenga."

"Yeaaaah I left looking like a kitty. But! That's why I want to do it again." Candace said with a nod, watching as she got up and...put more clothes on. Eh? But they didn't..do any fighting. She could understand covering up a nice outfit if they expected to get messy but it as just Jenga! "Uh..what's with the coveralls?" She felt stupid asking but she just had to know.

Eh? So? They weren't going to be getting physical. "Are they cute?" Candace asked with genuine curiosity, not out of any kind of perverted desires to know what Clarice's panties were like. If they were cute she wanted to give a compliment where a compliment was due! She'd totally let people compliment her own good tastes! But..oh s**t. She had a point. Why didn't she think of that!? Probably because she'd worn pants last time...s**t. She had a skirt on today. Candace looked down at herself, mouth set in a hard line and eyes wide. "..Do you have an extra one?" She was by no means a prude but...well..she didn't need random hunters just lifting her skirt and checking out what was underneath. She had a feeling if Jerry found out he would flip the ******** out.

Candace kind of just stood and stared at the assortment of different coveralls she had to pick from, eventually picking one that looked like it would fit alright and putting it on while Clarice explained their uses. Well then. "Is there anything you don't have~?" She'd seen Jerry walk out of Clarice's office with his pockets full of condoms. Candace wasn't stupid just..mildly confused. Why did Jerry go to Clarice and not the infirmary for those?

The coveralls were zipped up and adjusted until everything felt like it was sitting comfortably inside it, reaching down to fix a part of the leg that got caught on the heel of her boot. "The only creepy thing I had to deal with last time was whoever was watching me kept moving my body so I was lying on my back using my scarf as a pillow every time I woke up..." She shivered a little. If Candace knew who was watching her it wouldn't bother her so much but the fact that she didn't know who was in that room. "Ready~? I'm good to go when you are."

"A secret admirer in the labs?" Candace looked thoughtful as she considered her options. The one person she could think of she hardly considered an admirer much less a secret admirer. Surely she was just a thing of amusement to him, not someone he admired Was it someone she didn't know then? Creepy. "I suppose it's plausible. I'm here often enough to see people here." Namely Clarice and the doctor.  "How nice of them~. I guess I should be glad all they drew on me was a cat face."

Candace have the piranhas a look, watching how they darted and swam like they were on some kind of mission. A mission to kill, probably. "What's the point of the piranha anyway? All we do is sit and pull blocks out of a tower. It's not like we have to avoid falling in..."

Candace stepped away from the edge. "Heads, always heads." She told her with a smile.

"...Did it have hair?" Candace asked sympathetically, getting the distinct impression poor Clarice had had penises drawn on her face one too many times.

One too many being once, naturally.

"Oh fantastic~!" She cheered sarcastically though she was smiling as she took a seat as well and watched Clarice feed the piranha. Ah, another one of those 'because we could' things. "You Life hunters are so weird." Candace teased affectionately before turning her attention to the tower. Don't mess up.

So far so good! But Candace always passed the first round. It was the rounds after round one that she had trouble with.

"Hmm, sorry to disappoint. Looks like I get no dart yet."

"That name doesn't bother me anymore, Clarice dear." Candace hummed cheerfully, watching her pluck away five more blocks like they were nothing. Not surprising. "Hey, Clarice? How long have you been a hunter anyway?" She was so young! She looked...Candace's age at least?

..A laser to the eye. But lasers were followed by darts. Candace just stared at Clarice with a blank expression. "..I always pass the first round. It's after that I have trouble..I never was very good at Jenga." And with the way the tower wobbled after she had carefully slid a few pieces out it showed. Candace tensed and waited for the inevitable crash and p***k but it never came.

The tower stood strong. Oh thank god!

Candace was starting to build a tiny little house with her blocks, like one would with Lincoln Logs.
