Of course, with fifteen years gone by, more little bundles of joy and new contacts have joined the fray. What fray? I have no idea. What comes comes, and what goes goes.

Hakachus Characters! Now with added randoomness

Character Name: Serena
Age: 40
Gender: Female
Abilities: Turning invisible(She is the Vanishing Owl), stealing, using a gun, hand to hand, playing the piano, bitching at people, and manipulating people.
Weaknesses: Serena’s ability can be considered weak in the rain as the water outlines her body (same goes for snow) She has a huuuge fear of spiders!! She also has a soft spot for cute things such as dogs, kittens, and even rabbits. Another weakness Serena has is the fact she enjoys stealing, as a thief she is always on the lookout for objects worth her time. Most likely the biggest weakness Serena has is her children.
Personality: Serena’s personality can be quite colourful. At first she is not very trusting towards those she has just met. She tends to stick to herself and will not get involved with other people unless they are of worth to her or she can gain something in return from them. Serena can be considered fiery and feisty with a sharp tongue to top it all off. Serena can come across as a bit of a b***h due to how she generally acts around people. If you get on her wrong side she will be sure to let you know in any way possible. Of course, she is as soft as a bunny when it comes to her family and she enjoys doting on them at every available chance. Mess with them and you will be swiftly greeted with a messy death. A few words to sum her up can be: Arrogant, bitchy, violent, untrustworthy, conniving, sly, easily pissed off and a damn good thief.
Bio: Serena and her older brother Xander were both abandoned and left on the steps of an orphanage somewhere in England before being adopted by a single woman who took them to live with her in Taiwan. Serena and her brother were both albinos and so they found it hard to fit in with the other children. They were often subjected to cruel bullying by the local children and so they learned to fight back. The siblings were fast learners and it was through hard work and spilling blood that they stepped into the world of stealing. Doing this earned the pair a nice little reputation and extra pocket money. Sadly, the day came when their adoptive parent died and Xander changed his ways to become that of a mature working adult. Serena however, continued stealing and hustling people out of their items and money.
At a young age Serena uprooted and left Taiwan and moved to Japan. While living there she met a young boy by the name of Hitonomi. After a few misunderstandings and random events, the pair became firm friends and even dated (somewhat?) Hito was the one who introduced Serena to guns and taught her how to use them effectively. During this time Serena was already involved with scamming rich men out of their money and had killed those who pushed her to the edge. Fast forward two years and Serena was doing contract work, acting like an assassin…a unique one at that. Most people that came into contact with Serena either lived or died. Sadly, her life with Hitonomi ended when Serena accepted a contract to kill a very powerful man…One William DeScythe. Her greed for money proved to be her downfall and cost Serena her freedom.
At first everything seemed to be going alright. She had infiltrated some party and gotten close enough to strike… SOMETHING went wrong and she was captured but she was spared death. Instead, Will had her work for him doing random jobs and generally cleaning up little messes. At the very beginning Serena hated her boss and would had loved to have killed him, but as the years past and Will helped her out with a few things (such as killing people who were trying to extract revenge on Serena for killing their friends/loved ones and stealing from them) and eventually she became very loyal to him and somewhere down the lines she began falling for him…
By the age of 25 Serena was sent on a mission to watch over a young boy by the name of Kojiro Izayoi and had to work (pretty much) undercover for a group of Owl terrorist known as The Fallen Phoenixes. She was basically fighting on the side of bad (Confusing considering she works for Will!)and looking after Kojiro. It didn’t take long for Serena to become rather attached to Koji and may have even considered him as a younger sibling. A strange twist in events saw Serena falling pregnant with Will’s children during this time. At first she was rather pissed and perhaps a bit frightened…but she was soon happy with the thought. ( Going too fast forward now because….I don’t want to continue writing this essay…..)
Eventually, the war between humans and Owls came to an end and so did Serena’s job of looking after Kojiro. Serena returned to Japan and began preparing for the new arrivals and was also informed about the ‘death’ of Will. It took quite a while for her to get over his death but she knew she had her children to look forward to and that she needed to get herself together in order to raise them to be the best. Over the years the sense of loss has lessened but there are still moments in time that she would have liked for Will to be there. Nevertheless, she is a strong woman and she was happy with her life even with the random visits from people of the past. (Daryle, Hito, Koji,…you get the idea) Currently taking it easy, Serena only works when she needs to or when she gets bored. She has never fallen in love since Will and is content with how things are….But that is about to change with new events that are sure to shake her world once again.

Gender: Male
Abilities: Good at almost everything and is able to open up portals.
Weaknesses: He is obliged to follow any orders given to him by Will, he hates things being anything but perfect and hates it even more when someone screws up his working order. Seb also hates being scolded or proved wrong. (Weaknesses? I think not -.-)
Personality: Sebastian is rather dark and mysterious. He works day and night on various things. From signing documents to running experiments on unwilling willing victims…Seb is your man for the job. Being a butler, Seb believes that everything has a place and can become rather angry should someone mess things up. Most of the time Seb can be polite, calm and very charming however his normal personality is more twisted, cunning and malicious. Seb loves torturing others and enjoys killing people just as much as people enjoy breathing. To sum it up…He is not someone you should trust and approach if you are not a friend of the family…. He likes messing with Myra and simply adores pissing Kai off.
Bio: Sebastian has worked for Will since the blonde devil became the Satan Owl before that he lived life in Hell and hardly ever ventured to earth. Of course all that changed the moment he took the position as Will’s personal butler. Since that time Seb has resided on earth and has tended to any jobs that a butler like him should do. (cleaning, cooking, killing…) Over the long long years by Will’s side Seb has met some very interesting people and killed them to. (face/palm) Sebastian is a very capable surgeon and has somehow taken on the role as the family doctor over the years. Fear not, for the crazy butler is tame to those he is sworn to serve.
In the recent years Seb has become rather fond of annoying a female by the name of Myra. Even with his busy schedule he still finds time to piss Myra off and release her fury onto Tai. (poor Tai!) To say that he has no feelings is not quite true, Sebastian is fond of Myra and looks out for those in his care…hell; he even looks out for Tai from time to time! While nearly everyone else thinks Will is as dead as a doornail, Sebastian knows better yet he has not told a single soul about Will’s current residence in hell. Sebastian has no plans on leaving his current post for he has everything he needs where he is…not only that but, who else could make Kai’s life a living nightmare in his place?

Gender: Two females and one male.
Abilities: To be revealed….
Weaknesses:
-Deimos has a weakness for blood which can send him on a frenzy which often ends with him being punished. He detests anything cute and cannot stand being in the same room as his ‘wife’ Hedone.
-Keres loves braiding hair and hates being made to do things. (Seriously, she won’t be happy if you try to force her to do anything)
-Arae is a bit ‘slow’ when it comes to thinking and doing things.
Personality:
-Deimos is the spirit of fear, dread and terror and pretty much insane. He loves pain and will do anything to anyone in order for them to hurt him. Sadistic and a complete masochist. Dei is constantly being locked away by Will for going against orders, insulting Will, and plain outright being an idiot with a death wish. This guy is as creepy as they come more so than Seb…so it is no wonder that Seb actually finds him entertaining.
-Keres is the spirit of violent or cruel deaths. She looks to be the youngest of the three but is actually the oldest. She tends to keep an eye on most things and will see anyone punished in the most gruesome of ways should someone cross her path or displease Will. She rarely speaks but when she does it is usually in rhymes. She has a thing for hair and will often braid unsuspecting guest’s hair while they sleep. When bored Keres can become quite unreasonable and will often inform others of her boredom in various ways. Keep her on you good side and you will be fine below….piss her off….well…it won’t be nice
-Arae is the spirit of curses. She can appear to be pretty nice at times but this is a fine cover for her actually personality. She carries around a large book which is full of curses from ones that can boil a person’s blood to ones that can give you a bad case of acne. She is more than happy to help out when someone comes to her looking for a curse. A small piece of advice…never take her book….
Bio: Being spirits the natural habitat for these three is in Hell. It is not often that they will venture to earth unless they have been asked to do something on the behalf of Will. Keres is the one with the most authority and the other two will always listen to her and follow her words. While they are usually pretty good (with the exception of Deimos) they can become bored and will ‘find’ things to amuse them. In the more recent years the three spirits have been visiting earth more often enough to pay Serena a visit or simply to check up on the new generation. Deimos is actually rather fond of Arai…whether or not that has something to do with the bond they share is another matter. Still, while before he was able to harm her he cannot do that now….Even if Serena hates they guy she cannot deny that Deimos is sworn to help and entertain Arai when needed.

Other: Arae has her book, Keres has her giant scythe and Deimos has a black sword. All weapons can be summoned when needed save for Arae’s book which she always has on her.

Scythe's Characters Gaian Name: Scythe de Zaran
Character Name: Arai Keredeimos DeScythe
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Abilities: Morphing/ Shapeshifting. Arai can morph her body into almost anything as long as it is not too much bigger than her. For example, she can change her hair or limbs into blades or she could transform into cat, a horse, a mini dragon, but she can’t transform into a T-Rex. Her morphing ability also has some regenerative abilities because it is a necessary part of her ability to form matter greater than her size or to remold herself. She gains strength from blood.
Arai has a knack for stabbing. She will stab you somehow no matter how you defend. Arai also has sort of a berserk mode and a high pain threshold. She will not back down even if she is bleeding or hurt badly.
Weaknesses: In her berserk mode, she is unable to tell how much damage she has taken, and she will collapse after the mode ends. She fails against stab proof things. She is limited to close combat and shoot projectiles morphed from herself. Thus, she needs to use outside objects to defend against long range attackers.
Personality: Do not be fooled by Arai. Arai seems to be cute and she is childish, but she is actually very sadistic. She likes to be the one doted on. In short, she is mischievous, bubbly, energetic, easily bored, sly, cheerful, and acts innocent.
Bio: Arai and her twin brother Kai are the children of Serena and Will. She was born in Japan. While Arai and Kai both attend school, Arai is always the troublemaker at school. She never does her homework even while her brother does. She will stab people who try to bully her and so on. She also tends to wander around a lot. She even follows her brother to his secret meetings in the middle of the night, which their mother may not know about yet. Arai might rat Kai out. Sebastian seems to know about those meetings though, but hasn’t told Serena either.

Other: Arai’s name is made up of a combination of the names of three certain spirits. She also favors Deimos for some reason.----------- Gaian Name: Scythe de Zaran Character Name: Kai DeScythe Age: 15 Gender: Male Abilities: Animation. Kai is able to animate inanimate objects. He is also more inclined to use his brains while Arai is more physically engaging. He also gains strength from blood. Weaknesses: Cacti. Kai has developed an aversion to cacti because of Freya. He cannot “animate” living creatures. He also is protective of his sister. Sebastian also gets on Kai’s nerves easily because the butler rarely ever acknowledges Kai and always one ups him. Personality: Kai is smart, and he knows it. He’s a leader type. He’s arrogant and confident and likes to challenge others. He is more into thinking than going through solution physically. Just like his sister and his parents, he can be cold hearted. Bio: Kai is Serena and Will’s other child and unofficially Will’s successor to the underworld. Kai is a hard worker and does his work at school, but his schoolwork is often complicated by his family …such as Arai making him late to class and thus earning him a harder-than-usual exam from the teacher. Therei s also the family “pet/guardian” Cerbs who keeps eating Kai’s homework. Of course, the teacher doesn’t believe him when he claims that the dog ate his homework. Kai has been having secret meetings for “business” and he didn’t know that Arai followed along until the one time he got attacked and she joined in the fight for fun. Kai also apparently has spiders living under his bed, and he can’t get rid of them. Apparently, they have a liking for him and are protective of him. Character Name: Myra Bagarth aka “Bloody Myra”
Age: Unknown but appears to be 28. She is younger than Sebastian and Will for sure.
Gender: Female
Abilities: Super strength and seduction.
Weaknesses: Sebastian – Myra will get pissed off really easily by Sebastian. Will- She melts when he pats her or addresses her. She’ll get pissed if anyone (except Will) calls her an old hag. She also does not like being locked up.
Personality: She’s a playful seductive temptress when she wants to be and often breaks up stale moments in meetings. She likes sleeping around. However, she has a nickname “Bloody Myra” for her tendency to violently spill and splatter large volumes of the enemy’s blood. She’s actually very violent. She likes to be independent, enjoys challenges, and hates being bored. She likes pampering herself to look pretty and graceful. She has a short temper.
Bio: Once on a trip in Europe, Myra was caught and locked up because she displayed abilities that seemed Owl-like to people. She lost her memory, so she was unable to actually escape effectively as she would if she had her memories. She fought back to no avail, and finally bided her time, escaping once and only once. She didn’t get far at all before they found her and chased her, but… Fortunately or unfortunately for her, Will had been traveling in Europe at that time and picked her up, seeing a use for her in his establishment in Japan. She was trained there by others in the establishment and started learning the language, and ran some small insignificant errands in the casino. She didn’t know about it being a front since she had never been to a casino before and didn’t even know what it was when she first arrived. When someone tried to sell her off, she panicked and ended up killing a room of Will’s people and the buyer’s people with a pen that someone dropped on the floor. That caught his attention, and when he went down to the bloody room, she tried to kill him, blaming him for her being sold off. He simply laughed, which made her only more annoyed as she kept trying to kill him with a pen and whatever else she could pick up in the room. [insert awkward scene] From then on, Myra officially became one of Will’s people and someone who wouldn’t be sold off (Someone tried again, but Will let her beat the culprit into a pulp while he watched.) Of course, Will only taunted her more by making her start in one of those positions that dealt with selling females, which disgusted her at first and kept making her annoyed at how she had almost been sold. She got through it somehow, despite the other men thinking she couldn’t and several clients asking her if she was up for sale. Despite her lack of knowledge in certain areas, she learned quickly and moved up in rank faster than others expected, somehow making it up to reporting directly to Will… though sleeping around might have helped that. After that, Myra never got bored with assignments Will gave her because he only gave her particular ones he knew she would enjoy and helped her regain her memory. Will has never taken her as a girlfriend, but they have been in bed before. Myra thinks of him as her master, and Will thinks of her as… you’ll have to ask him yourself on that. Now, Myra and Sebastian are basically a couple, and Myra has helped in taking care of the children and so on.

Other: For whatever reason, she has a massive claymore that she can actually heft around easily and use. It clashes with her “graceful” image, but she doesn’t care. She has a pair of guns, but she doesn’t think they make things bloodier than bludgeoning and cutting people apart with a claymore. ----- Gaian Name: Scythe de Zaran Character Name: Cerberus Age: Unknown Gender: Male Abilities: Shapshifting. Cerbs can shift into many forms and sizes. Super strength. Bottomless stomach. Weaknesses: Will is his master, and Cerberus adores him. Serena bunny is a fun toy, and his master’s woman. Personality: Cerbs is playful (troublemaker), curious, and likes to eat. He is protective of Will and is completely loyal to him. Despite his playful attitude, the hellhound does do his job well and has a darker side. Bio: Cerberus is the giant three headed hell hound that guards the gate to hell to ensure only the souls/spirits of the dead may pass through to hell. He has and always will be. Character Name: William “Maestro” DeScythe
Age: Ancient – Currently “Deceased”, but appears to be 27.
Gender: Male
Abilities: He is the Satan Owl and has a multitude of skills including mind games, martial arts, music, and “managing.” Because of his rank and his skill, he has dominion over hell and over much of Earth’s organizations.
Weaknesses: Holy objects, namely a holy text we know as the Bible. His strength is lessened in churches, but the amount of sin in its attendees or the area will counteract the church weakness. Che, Serena bunny, and Will’s children are now “weaknesses.”
Personality: Will can have different personalities, depending on who or what he is portraying at the moment. His acting skills are nothing to laugh at when it comes to fooling and deceiving others. The devil is in the details after all. Will is a heartless b*****d for the most part. He hardly listens to others and doesn’t take well to people ordering him around. He is extremely mischievous, can be obnoxious, sarcastic, arrogant, and manipulative. Will is somewhat lazy and won’t fight seriously unless he absolutely has to or when he sees something that would amuse him. The same usually goes with his powers because he doesn’t need them to function or keep people in line. There’s pranking, blackmailing, and whatever other things you can think of for that.
He is a womanizer and very very skilled at seduction. Will is possessive and will go after people who take something of his in some shape or form. He is also very arrogant and always has to get the last word. Will also revels in chaos and torture and is a masochistic sadist who will nonchalantly toy with others until they don’t remember who they are or they wish they were dead. Don’t piss him off. It’s a really bad idea. He’s creative and good with improvising, so you never know what he might do.
Bio: Will is the third child of Cameron and Keladri and comes from a wealthy upper middle class family in what is now presently knkown as the United States area. His father, Cameron, was a successful businessman, who opened up his own trading company, first based on weapons, and then expanded into more merchandise and goods. His older brother Kent met his demise in an incident. Will’s sister, Selis, was a world renowned musician, and the company still flourishes now because of the descendants of her and her husband, Auron Stratos. (Music runs in the family. Will himself is proficient in the piano, violin, and trumpet, and whatever instrument he picks up. That earned him a past nickname, Maestro, coined on him by others, but no longer used in this current age. He can also sing, but prefers not to.) Cameron’s company is V.I.E. (Vanguard in Edge) and its name has not changed even after so many years. Will has a minimal hand in the company’s affairs, and the company is run by CEO Kyne Balderon, a Navy SEAL prior to resigning from the U.S. military.
As a child, Will was given the least attention because of his successful siblings. He was very mischievious, dealt in pranks, and far from being a model child. Once, he even managed to dress up as his sister and pose at her, completely embarrassing her at a concert. She was part of a concert and before her performance, Will ran up to the stage and completely bewildered the audience. Selis had to come out, drag him off the stage, then apologize before beginning her performance. Will figured out how to use his original abilities in the worst possible way during a house party. Luckily for the DeScythes, they had enough money to cover the damages. His parents forced him through college, where he spent some time studying abroad in England and then Japan, living with a Japanese family by the surname Thorinagano. This was the beginning of his ties to Japan. There, he met Noel Anderson, the future God Owl, and she became his first and only serious girlfriend so far (although he still cheated on her during part of the relationship). When he returned to the States, he was to succeed his father in running the company. However, that changed when he attained Satan Owl status, and control of the company went to Selis and her husband. As Satan, he worked with the Heralds and the God Owl, Noel, to keep the world in order. At some point, he began to personally lazily train Che Office Presidiomni as the next God Owl. Then, the Nol Era hit, and, even with training unfinished, for whatever reason, he left the group the same time as Noel left.
After some time, Will returned to Japan and stayed there for the most part, using the country as his main “base” for his activities, which include owning and running a casino establishment, a front for many things connected to the international underworld. On Che’s request, he left Japan to join UNS to help his former student on his mission. Will stayed with the UNS fore certain reasons even after Che was killed and then revived. He manipulated events and “worked” with the Night Owls and former UNS members after they were “kicked out” of the UNS to end a war. During that time, he also sent Serena to watch over Kojiro. He pulled her out once it became time for her to relax due to her status of bearing his children. During one of the battles, Will was killed but it had all been a plan. What he hadn’t expected was to get stuck in Che’s card deck for some time until he finally was able to return to hell to recover and rest a little. But now, Will has decided he will appear before those who thought him dead and forever gone. What kind of madness will happen?

The air was fresh, the birds were singing in the trees and the sun was rising. Yes a new day had come and it was sure to be a very beautiful day indeed! Even inside the home of a certain family everything was calm and tranquil, of course that may be because it was only 7am and most of the residence were still snoozing soundly in their beds. Down stairs a very pleasant smell was drifting around the kitchen as Sebastian prepared breakfast while upstairs Serena was beginning to stir in her bed. Yawning and wiping the sleep from her eyes, Serena eventually sat up and switched on the bedside lamp. She smoothed out her hair, which was still as white as snow despite the long years that had passed, and let out a small groan “Friday…..Ugh….” This meant she was now faced with the pleasant task of waking her lovely children so that they may get ready for school. Kai was not a problem, in fact he was often already awake by the time Serena reached his room…Arai however, was less than enthusiastic about waking up for school. Flinging the covers to one side, Serena slipped out of bed leaving behind a mess and a certain three headed dog snoozing soundly on the other side of her bed. Cerberus wasn’t just the family pet and guardian; he was also a great pillow.
Serena wrapped herself in a fluffy white dressing gown and headed towards Arai’s room first while trying to ignore the tasty smells from downstairs. With a light knock on the door, Serena stepped in and stared into the darkness “Arai honey….time to get up…” Her voice was soft and gentle, a tone that she rarely gets to use when dealing with other people. “Rise and shine~” With a sly smile that only a mother could pass on, Serena flicked on the lights and illuminated the room in a bright glow. “It is Friday which means tomorrow you can sleep in for as long as you like but right now, I need you up and ready for school. I will come back and check up on you in ten minutes and you better be sitting up by that point at least…” Turning on her heel Serena left the room and passed Kai’s giving it a swift knock as she walked “Time to get up Kai” She spoke loud enough for the boy to hear as she headed downstairs.
“Morning Sebastian…” The Vanishing Owl muttered as she stepped into the kitchen and grabbed to glass of pure orange juice that had already been prepared for her. “I take it you have already heard that Daryle and his children will be arriving today and that you will be picking them up from the airport at 3pm. If not…you know now..” Serena was in her ‘Morning business mode’ and usually that entailed her being rather blunt and abrupt with her words. “The guest rooms will need to be cleaned and new sheets will need to be la----Hmm…” Something was not right with the orange juice… “Tai picked up the wrong brand….I have told him so many times before!” As well as her bluntly spoken words first thing in the morning…Serena was also irritable. “Nevermind. Sebastian when you are finished here…go get me the correct juice.” And thus, the start of the day had begun…..

Kai was awake early as usual even though he had fought the previous evening with Cerberus, who kept munching up his homework. Currently, his intact homework was safe and sound in his school bag. Soon after he heard his mother, he headed downstairs with all bag and went to eat breakfast. It was now time to wait for his twin sister to get down so they could walk to school together.
It was a Freyday Friday. Freya and her family were coming to visit, and Kai was prepared. He had already prepared anti-cacti sets hidden around the house if they were needed. At fifteen, Kai already showed potential beyond the usual and held secret meetings that his mother did not yet know about. Perhaps, he took after his father in this manner, but the boy only knew of his father through stories from his mother and her friends. Sebastian always seemed to chide him with how his father was better than Kai. Speaking of Sebastian, that damn butler was standing right there in the kitchen. The guy had probably messed with Kai's food, but whatever. Kai had an exam today, and he was hungry. "Hey, Seb. Where's Tai? Mom, are Freya, Chase, and Uncle Daryle staying over this time?"
Meanwhile upstairs, Cerberus and Arai were still respectively on their beds. When Serena got up, the hellhound had shifted a little and raised one head. However, once Serena left, the head went down again. Cerbs was not in his giant form, but he was in a form that was the size of a panther.
Kai's twin, Arai simply refused to get up and hugged her pillow tighter. She didn't want to go to school and she didn't want to get up. She hid under the covers to hide from the lights.

“Good morning Serena. I trust you slept well last night.” Sebastian was a man of little sleep and free time. He enjoyed working into the early hours and any free time that he had was usually spent on running a few personal experiments or being with Myra. Despite his busy schedule he was always fresh face and ready for almost anything even first thing in the morning. “Saxton and his spawn…Yes I am well aware of them visiting and I have already prepared the rooms.” Serena never really heard his reply because she was too busy ranting and raving about Tai screwing up on buying orange juice…again. Smirking of Serena’s rants as usual, Seb replied all too carefree with; “I shall be sure to drill it into his head for next time.”
Like most mornings, Kai was the next soul to enter the kitchen and Sebastian was always careful to smile innocently at the blonde younger male. “Good morning, Kai. I have prepared a range of food for your breakfast this morning so you are free to choose what it is you want to eat. I assure you now that everything before you is 100% fresh and safe to eat…” And just to screw with the kid somewhat, Seb smirked his trade mark smirk of mischievousness’ “I do hope you will enjoy the meal. As for where Tai is I am sure he will be along any moment now, I have a few jobs for him to do. So don’t you worry your little blonde head off about him and eat your breakfast.”
((Serena))
Serena knew from the very start of the day that Arai would not wake up despite the lights being switched on. As she passed Kai she ruffled his hair gently and nodded “Yes, Daryle, Freya and quite possibly Chase will be arriving later on today. They should be here by the time you get home.” Pausing in her stride, Serena glanced over her shoulder at Kai with a small frown “And can I ask that you do not engage in a battle of plants and man eating sofas with Freya, please? The amount of mess you both caused last time was insane.” Still, the Vanishing Owl couldn’t help but smile when she recalled that memory. With that being said Serena was now ready to get back to the matter at hand. Arai.
Climbing the large staircase and taking a left turning, Serena headed back towards her cute daughters room. “Araaaaai~” She cooed softly as she entered the room. “Come on now. Just one more day at school and then you have a few days off.” Crossing the room, Serena sat on the edge of Arai’s bed and pulled the covers away from Arai and out of the young girls reach. “Freya and Chase will be coming round today. Don’t you want to get up to see them?” Serena doubted that saying that alone would be enough to get Arai to get up, dressed and ready for school. It was worth a try nonetheless. Smoothing Arai’s hair out of the girls face, she smiled “If you are good I will buy you something nice~”

Kai never really trusted Sebastian. It made Kai wonder why he repeatedly was the first one in the kitchen. Maybe he should let his sister enter first and get the first helping just in case the food was jinxed. The blonde haired fifteen year old boy rolled his eyes as Sebastian stated he would drill his mother's orange juice preference into Tai's head. Kai didn't doubt it, but he didn't really care...though he did feel that Tai seemed to get annoyed by Sebastian as much as Kai was annoyed by Sebastian. (If Armand was around, the Frenchman would definitely be singing and joking about how Tai and Kai rhymed....but Kai didn't know Armand, so this is just a Scythe random comment.) 100% fresh and safe to eat...right... "I'm eating, and I'm not worried... Tai runs around more than you...lazy." Oddly, Kai actually felt more comfortable around Tai, but maybe that was because Sebastian kept screwing with Kai's mind. Unknown to Kai, it was all part of training.
Kai made a face when Serena told him not to fight with Freya. "She started it, and the sofas won for the record!" He pouted slightly and resumed eating his food. Serena's presence was apparently a safety guard because right after she left, Kai foud a fingernail in his food. "Seb...there's a fingernail in here..."
((Arai))
"Nuu!" Arai cried as the blankets were pulled from her. She desperately hugged her pillow and covered her face with it. "I don't wanna gooo! It's boring!" Yup, Arai was the slacker. Even if she went to school, she would probably be torturing some poor student or teacher. Upon hearing about Freya and Chase, Arai's eyes peeked out from under the pillow. "Oooh, Freyaa... Kai Kai is going to fight with her again!~" The expression on Arai's face was angelic. "Mmm...cacti!" But a second later, Arai's whole head was back under the pillow. "No!" Just as Kai did, Arai also had an exam on this day. That was because Kai and Arai were both in that particular class. "Nice?" The head peeked out again. "Like wwuuttt~"

Sebastian merely shrugged of Kai’s comment on how Tai ran around more than himself. Not quite true, but Seb was not one to argue with a fickle minded child “Sure Kai, Tai does allll the work and I simply sit back and watch the world pass by” Turning his back on Kai, Sebastian smiled “A fingernail you say? Oh dear, I wonder how that got in there. Have you been biting your nails, Kai? That is a very bad habit you know.” With a small chuckle, the dark haired butler left the kitchen to begin the morning routine of cleaning, organising and arranging any meetings that needed to be arranged. Before leaving the room completely, he leaned down towards Kai’s ear and muttered some words “Oh and Kai….Tonight at midnight there is a gathering taking place at the Casino. I trust that you will be there.” Messing up the blondes’ hair, Seb took his leave.
“Now….where is Myra~” Ah first things first, Sebastian wanted to run through a few things with Myra about the upcoming guests. He wasn’t sure if she knew about Daryle & co arriving today and when she did know he was sure she would be a but unhappy…What with how Freya was at times. “I do hope Tai has apologised for ruining her dish set. I don’t think the house can withhold another outburst on her behalf.” Even if Sebastian enjoyed watching Myra do her thing, he could probably do without half the house being smashed apart.
((Serena))
Well from the small muffled cry of protest it was obvious that Arai was at least awake. “I know it’s boring but…you must go Arai. I tried home-schooling you but all the private tutors ended up dead in the study.” Serena continued playing with Arai’s hair which she found rather soothing. “No. There won’t be any fights this time round. Kai and Freya will be good.” A small disapproving frown creased Serena’s forehead when Arai mentioned Cacti. Her cute little girl had the very strange habit of biting Freya’s prickly friend whenever the plant was around Arai. “No eating Cacti…You will only end up crying again.” When Serena mentioned buying something nice for Arai it seemed to bring the girl out from hiding. With a promising smile Serena nodded “Yes I will buy you something nice.” Laughing her daughters curiosity off, Serena poked Arai’s nose “If I told you it wouldn’t be a surprise, would it?” Serena was one to speak. She hated surprises and couldn’t count the amount of times she had complained about surprises on her hands. “Now, do you want me to brush your hair? Or can you do that on your own, hmm?”

Kai simply gave Sebastian a look. The fingernail was definitely Sebastian's fault, and he was pretty sure it was not by chance it happened to end up in his plate. There wouldn't be any fingernails in Arai or Serena's food. He could clearly hear the sarcasm in Sebastian's voice about how Tai did all the work. Hmph. "More efficient than you..." Kai mumbled. "Whose fingernail is it, Seb? One of your experiments?" he retorted. He glared at Seb after the butler whispered in his ear. Of course he would be at that midnight meeting. He watched Sebastian leave and left his meal unfinished. He didn't want to accidentally eat any fingernails. Now, where was Arai? She was taking her time as usual. The exam was in the first class, and the teacher was rather strict. There used to be another teacher, but that teacher met an accident a couple days after annoying Arai.
((Myra))
Myra was peacefully walking around holding some dishsets when she turned the corner and ....BAM! CRASHHHH SHATTTTERRR! The dishset crashed to the floor in horrible cacophony milliseconds after Myra crashed into Sebastian. "SEBBY! MY DISHSET!" Two dishsets broken now... How many more to go before Myra really exploded? Maybe she was in need of someone causing her to melt soon...
((Arai))
"Mrrr..." Arai mumbled, imitating her favorite dog, even as Serena played with her hair. Actually, it was pretty comfortable for Arai that her mom was playing with her hair too. "Hehe. I know Freya and Kai will fight. It's tradition <3~" Arai giggled as she half hid under the pillow. "But cactii are tasty!" she protested. She made a face, but finally got up off the bed and yawned. "Okay, something sweet!" She beamed and hugged Serena. "Brush my hair!"

((Sebastian))
Sebastian was usually very careful with where he was walking, so whenever he bumped into someone it was probably on purpose or for a good reason. Either way, it was the later reason that he stepped into the path of Myra on purpose. Seb smiled apologetically down at Myra and held out a hand which he had managed to catch half of the dish set with. Unfortunately, he could not save all of the fine porcelain. “Oh Myra, I am sorry.” Sympathy laced each word like a carefully placed veil woven from silk. Of course Seb was not as sorry as he made out to be. “Allow me to clean up this mess for you.” He handed Myra the saved dishes and knelt down to pick up the sharpened shards.
When all the broken shards were safely in Seb’s hands, he stood back up and smiled “I was wondering if you were aware of the extra people arriving here today. Namely Daryle and his children…” He studied Myra for a small moment trying to see if she would show any hint of dismay or annoyance at this small tit bit of information. “They are the only ones turning up I can assure you. On a side note, you won’t be needed to work this weekend as things have grown rather slow of late. Perhaps a trip to the hot springs is in order?” Seb was now trying to secure his earlier want of having the house remain intact. With more annoying people around he was sure that Myra would end up flipping out at some point.
((Serena))
Serena almost face palmed when Arai imitated Cerbs grumble but instead she smiled and laughed it off “A tradition? I guess it has become that. I mean, Kai and Freya have fought since Kai was able to walk.” Ah yes, Serena couldn’t even recall a single time in history when the duo had not fought and damaged to house or whatever area they were in at the time. Letting out a small sigh Serena patted Arai and hugged her back gently “They are not tasty when they are covered in thorns” With a laugh Serena stood up and took Arai by the hand. “Come on downstairs. I will brush your hair as you eat.” Arai’s hair was just as long as Serena’s was at that age and it was even softer to the human touch. Serena simply adored Arai’s hair and loved spending time brushing it until it was silky smooth and laying perfectly.
“We don’t want Kai and you being late today. You have an exam right?” Serena said as she took Arai by the hand and led her down the stairs and into the kitchen where Kai was sitting. “Kai? Are you not hungry?” Serena said as she stepped into the kitchen with Arai by her side and noticed Kai’s full plate. “You have hardly touched your food…”

((Myra))
Myra's face was half livid. She was not happy. She stared at the pieces on the floor and then at the plates in Sebastian's hand...and then back at the floor. She snatched her plates back from Sebastian and looked down as he began picking up the pieces of the broken set. "No, you're not, Sebby." At the mention of Daryle and his children, Myra's eyebrow twitched. She did not have a good experience with Freya when Freya was younger and stuck at Will's home during the war. When Seb finally stood up and then asked Myra to take a break and go to the hot springs, it got to Myra and she let her palm slap Seb across the face. Bloody Myra had one hell of a slap considering her abnormal strength, so there was a chance it would send Sebastian flying. But almost immediately after the slap, a random hand out of nowhere patted Myra on the head.
"Myra, come to the hot springs..." The hand patted Myra's head again. "Be a good girl." The hand then retreated and disappeared as if it had never existed.
The golden haired woman's facial expression changed immediately as she "melted" at the petting. She recognized the voice. "X3...ok, I will go~" But soon after the hand disappeared, she glared at Sebastian.
((Arai and Kai))
Arai tilted her head and giggled at Serena's comment. "What thorns?" Yes, yes. Arai couldn't resist sinking her teeth into ... cacti. "Okay~" The white haired girl followed Serena downstairs and then took a seat and begun eating and playing with her food. She didn't care about the exam.
Kai finally heard the footsteps of his sister and mother. "Arai, you're getting faster..." He commented sarcastically. Actually, today's morning was considered fast for Arai, who was always late. Upon hearing his mother ask about him not being hungry, he just shrugged. "Not hungry. Sebastian tried to feed me himself." he answered dryly.

Sebastian had expected the slap but he still wasn’t able to remain standing when Myra’s palm made contact with his cheek. The butler was sent flying backwards down the hallway and ended up losing nearly all the shards of porcelain on his travels save for a few shards which ended up stabbing into Seb’s hands. Coming to a halt only after hitting a wall, Sebastian looked up in time to see a hand retreating back into the shadows. He knew only too well who’s hand that was and even smirked somewhat. The patting had done the trick and Myra had just agreed to visiting the hot springs. “Perfect…”
Standing up and wrapping his hands in a hanky before blood could spill onto the floor, Seb smiled innocently at Myra who was glaring at him. “Don’t be like that Myra. We won’t be seeing each other for the whole weekend~” Not that Seb made an effort to see her often between work anyways. “Be sure to enjoy yourself and relax, you have earned it.” He picked up each small shard as he walked back down the corridor and back towards Myra. Once before her he left a quick kiss on her forehead before stepping around her. “In the words of another; Be a good girl.”
((Serena))
Serena overlooked Kai’s sarcastic comment about Arai getting faster at waking up and merely began brushing through her daughters’ hair slowly. Raising an eyebrow when Kai said about Seb trying to feed him, Serena laughed “Really now? He often fed you when you were a baby.” Which was true, sometimes Serena was just too tired to keep up with the twins’ nightly feeding sessions and so Seb being the fantastic butler he was, often stepped in to lend a helping hand. “That’s beside the point. Be sure to take something to eat with you to school in case you are feeling hungry” Pausing in her hair brushing Serena glanced up at Kai. “You are feeling alright, aren’t you?” She was sure he would have voiced any stomach upsets or queasiness but there was nothing wrong with asking him first.

Myra was so distracted by the hand that patted her that by the time she glared at Sebastian, he had already stood up. She glared and kept glaring, not relenting even as Seb wrapped his hands in a hanky to block the blood. She continued glaring. "It'll be nicer without you~" she retorted as she watched him bend and pick up every single shard, even pieces that Myra couldn't even tell existed because they were like a speck of dust on the floor.
She pouted as Sebastian kissed her and then referenced the hand's owner. She couldn't find it in herself to smack Sebastian across the room. And so, with the help of the mysterious hand, Sebastian had found a way to remove Myra from the premises. The golden haired woman spun around and kissed Sebastian before skipping off.
((Kai))
Kai almost gagged when Serena mentioned that Sebastian fed him and Arai when they were babies. Maybe Sebastian was actually normal during that time, but for as long as Kai could remember, Sebastian was always messing with his food. Clearly, Serena trusted him. Of course she did. Seb was the family butler and he only listened to Serena. The butler however was out to get Kai. "Yeah..sure..." He'd stick it safe and buy school cafeteria food this time or get something from the school area for lunch with his friends. Maybe Arai would tag along too. "Mmm.. I'm fine, Mom." Kai wasn't the type to tell his mother if he was uncomfortable unless it was really obvious.
((Arai))
Meanwhile, Arai was just enjoying the hair brushing and nomming her food happily. She was being simple in a way just like the other Arae. "There's show and tell today, Mommy! Kai, are you going to show your toothpick castle?" Arai herself was planning on showing a certain spirit....
