It's become glaringly, painfully obvious we need a fresh roleplay (or five) to reawaken this place, so I'm pitching in to do my part. But first I want your input on which of the following catches your fancy. I would really appreciate you voting for the one you are most interested in. If you can't decide, just wait. I want firm responses, no wishy-washy conclusions.
In addition, questions and comments are highly encouraged, though you must understand there will be things I cannot say for the sake of the roleplays themselves.
The List: The Prince of Dinn Themes: Medieval, Fantasy, War, Kinship, Human Will, (Romance?) King Dumail of Dinn was a noble, lionhearted man who reigned with strength and conviction. At last, his greatest test as a military commander has disembarked on his country's western shore: tall, lanky figures who strike heartlessly at Dinn's warriors and citizens alike. In the midst of this growing conflict, King Dumail succumbs to sudden sickness, leaving the throne to his fourteen-year old son, Trimley. Trimley has done as well as one could expect a lad of his age to handle kingship, but now he needs help. He makes a call-to-arms, requesting the most courageous of his country to join him and take the fight back to the enemy across the Western Sea while his younger brother, Roth (age 10), manages the country in his absence.
Sleeper Cell: Themes: Modern, Espionage, Mystery, Conflict This is something of an experiment within an experiment. A group of individuals (your characters) volunteered to have their memories suppressed, to be brainwashed to believe a cover story. LIkewise by joining you would be volunteering to use a character whose past you don't rightly know. The players would create the cover story, detailing the most recent seven years of the agents' lives, and will then have to later reconcile this with the mysterious past as it is revealed. To help shed at least a dim light, some context shall be provided: in Burnett City, our agents live out their lives in traditional suburbia. A large portion of this city's growth and prosperity depends upon the products and ventures of a megacorporation known as Ambience. This technological giant in our fictional world has a focus on integrated and "viral" tech- creating ambient devices and programs. Their primary sales are an operating system, personal computer fabrication, home media, viral appliances, and artificial intelligence research. As with every picture, there is more to it than what you see at first glance, and this particular group of individuals is about to discover something far more intriguing than anything anyone could have predicted.
Inhibitor K Themes: Post-Modern (in the future a few decades), Technology, Government, Class War, The Human Condition As technology progresses, many people become more docile, complacent. They lean on their machines and devices as a crutch without realizing- live without fully understanding the implications of the world they're building. Meanwhile, the truly driven and intelligent, master these modern implements. They are the true leaders of the world and let no one tell you otherwise. They know who you are, and if they don't it won't take them long to find out. They can operate in plain day to rule you- and they do. They are the Technocrats, the elite of this future setting, and their position of power has upset many, many people. What were initially mindless mobs have been organized into a rebellion and it strives for an uprising of the "suppressed lower class:" those without the intimate understanding of bits, bytes, and electronic data. The tension is mounting, and many are declaring premonitions of blood in the streets if something doesn't change soon.
Ghosts Themes: Medieval, Fantasy, Quest In the Fair World, or Benah, there are but two nations: Ank'Ahm- or Ahm's Country- and Dresbin. Ank'Ahm is home to a stout Theocracy, emboldened by its ability to directly contact and call upon its God, Ahm, for miracles and magick. They say the only poor in Ank'Ahm are lazy heathens, and the only rich are greedy heathens. Two decades and a couple years ago, the Fair World was ravaged by a Demon both cunning and powerful. Carnifex was his name, and he annihilated hundreds of Dresbinites and Ahminites in his desire to rule among mortals, and he very nearly succeeded. Only three stood against him in his final hour: The Crusader of Tr'Ahm, a Bishop, and a Priestess. In one valiant and daring stroke, the Bishop and Priestess sacrificed themselves to obliterate the Demon-Major Carnifex. Now, the darkness is stirring again. Creatures tainted by evil and morphed by demonic powers are spotted within riding distance of Ank'Ahm's capital. Whispers creeping through the country are that Carnifex is returning. The Crusader is summoning all those willing to join him in a quest to rid the Fair World Benah of this plight once and for all.
I have more, actually, but I think 4 is enough. So please, vote, comment, and place your inquiries here! And just to be completely honest, I'd most like to run "Ghosts," but again I have the time and energy to spend on any of these so don't let my leanings influence your requests.

All four are interesting and I wish we had time for all of them but sadly we do not, at least not at the same time. However I am leaning towards Dinn and Inhibitor K. I have characters already in mind for both, particularly Inhibitor. Though the character I have in mind for Dinn could also work for Ghosts so I'm not going to be to picky.
Also I'm loving the whole "You decide which RP we'll run" thing you got going on. It really helps make a story more personal(and thus better).

I voted for Sleeper Cell; the premise and meta aspect of it is fascinating to me.
Inhibitor K>Dinn>Ghosts would be my order of preference for the others.
May put a thread for a few of my own concepts up and make 27 on an official hiatus while I run something less demanding of everyone involved.

I'm going to give people a chance to vote through Friday. Friday evening I will post the victor, and we will begin some time that weekend, depending on character submissions and the like.

I voted for Dinn just because I think its different enough from my normal fantasy RP I enjoy so much. Plus the possibility of going to sea leaves for the possibility of pirates and privateers and all manner in between as well. Should be interesting to say the least.
Modern RPs I always have a tough time getting behind unless they have an interesting twist or catch. So my second choice would be GHOST, and should it win I would be no less interested or excited to have a go at it.

I love the premise of "Sleeper Cell"; playing a character I don't actually know much about sounds like a very interesting challenge. I've been too busy to roleplay recently, but I'm hoping to get back into it some, and this seems like a perfect opportunity. Even if something else wins, I'll seriously consider playing--all of the premises are interesting!

I voted for Prince of Dinn. ^^ It's both creative and has a plot, while allowing plenty of room for character development. It defines the box, what's in the box, and gives us the ability to think out of the box without going over board.

I voted for Prince of Dinn. It seems like it would be the most interesting since there will be action, adventure, and possibly some political squabbles with people trying to sway such young rulers. Or maybe I've just been reading too much Game of Thrones. My second choice would be Sleeper Cell. Having bits of our characters revealed to us over time would be very fun.

I am most unabashedly going for a definite Prince of Dinn vote.
The idea seems interesting, especially if there's two places of focus at once; Roth and Trimley and his companions. The palace or wherever they are could be another set of roleplayers. They would not be posting as often, I don't think, since there wouldn't be much to do, but if one were to play Roth or people surrounding him, they may be able to affect Trimley's experience somehow? I don't know what you could do with that.
Besides that, there is a vast array of characters that could pop up her; it's not at all restricted. And there could be some pick-ups along the way, perhaps, instead of all being in at the start. That's for the moderators to decide.
And like Clockwork Tribble said, this could so get political, with some people trying to exploit both Trimley and Roth or take their power from them. Game of Thrones-esque would be wonderful, instead of the traditional fantasy feeling.
I don't think I'd join any of the others. Sleeper Cell sounds like another experiment roleplay, and I'm afraid I've never had interest in those. Inhibitor K sounds like it could be interesting to me if I was in a certain mood, and I'm not always in a certain mood. I don't know what about it makes it so. And I'm not interested in Ghosts for a few reasons. 1) Demons. Never been a fan of spiritual-related roleplays. 2) I'm already in a ghostly horror roleplay.
So if Prince of Dinn was to be made, I might end up joining. None of the others I'm afraid. But I'm fine without another roleplay right now, so no matter.

Prince of Dinn for me personally. All of the idea's presented here are quite creative in my eyes. However I personally am not one to participate in modern and futuristic role plays. Could never get into them and I can't quite put my thought on why exactly that is. Anyways I'm hoping to see something I could get into and Prince of Dinn seems to be that something for me.

Thanks for the feedback folks! Thus far, not only is Prince of Dinn in the lead, but it has received the most amount of (positive!) feedback! If this keeps up, we will most certainly be joining the young prince in his escapades both near and far. Again, thanks everyone for the feedback. It definitely helps me define the parameters for the upcoming roleplay(s).

Personally, I would love to see, as well as participate in, Inhibitor K.
I have always loved writing in post-modern settings, and the Human Condition is probably one of my favorite philosophical subjects.
I cast my vote for Inhibitor K.

I voted for Sleeper Cell, totally. I mean, I love Prince of Dinn too, and it was kind of hard to choose, but I love the secrecy and the challenge of playing a character you don't really know of Cell. I would and will join both if you decide to make more than one. You absolutely have to let me know when these go up. ^.^

It was pretty difficult to decide between these, but yes, I think Sleeper Cell really sounds amazing. If it gets selected, I can't wait to join in on the fun :3
