So, for those of you who follow site gossip, it has recently come to my attention that the self proclaimed CEO of Gaia-zine was caught embezzling donated funds ($17M) from Gz by his financial aid - who has, since bringing this to public attention, quit Gz. (Good for you, girl!)
Since all this was posted for public viewing and was then taken down due to the immense level of butthurt, I figured that seeing as people would likely wish to discuss this, I'd leave this thread available for open discussion of the issue.
Note: Whether Amensu did or did not commit this crime is up for debate. Please do not use this thread as a bashing forum. This is not about hate - but constructive criticism.

I've been watching GOM for the past two days wondering when someone would post something about this. I was almost disappointed. heart Anyways. I wanted to point out a mistake you made. You said it was 17m that I allegedly embezzled when, truth is, it was actually 6,723,000gg that I was accused of embezzling. In another light, I have told them that I would not admit to taking it because I did not but, if it would make them feel any better, I would gladly replace it with 10m rather than just replacing the nearly 3.3m less. Being CEO of Gaia-zine, when something like this happens, the burden to replace it falls onto my shoulders. Since the gold that was taken (no matter who took it) came from the Secretary's account, I feel an obligation to replace it even though I am not the one who took it. As would any good leader. I just thought those are some things that your users should know before starting to post.

If you want to show you are innocent... then let another crew member screenshot the trades going out of that account.

I saw in GZ he had a "possible resignation" thread and selling the guild for 500k. But now he's not since crew told him he shouldn't leave.
Now it all makes sense on why he was thinking of leaving...

Well, mistake or no - the word on the forums is that it was 17Mgg & until you post picture proof - evidence that has likely long since been deleted through one means or another by whoever the culprit might be - we shall have to go by hearsay alone.

As for that being 'the word around the forums', before this little bit of tasty gossip got out, I hadn't logged into the site for nearly a month. It took multiple people texting & generally explodifying my mobile to bring me back. That's right - only your miserable suffering & personal guilt brought me back.

While I did see the proof that Amensu took the money, I did not and still haven't seen any proof that he gave it back before this whole scandal happened. I think the only reason he's giving it back is because he got caught. If he was innocent, he should have provided the evidence. Not just typing words. Kudos to (don't remember the name) for posting it, but I do believe that it would have been better to post it to the guild first, then the public. This has been some juicy gossip for me :3

But it's quite easy to tell the difference, and this falls directly into the side of "gonads." I always knew you had some sort of soft-spot for me, Admiral. I'd hate to see you leave Gaia. Where would the fun confrontations be then?
