Okay, so pretty much everyone voted, even me, but not as an actual competitor since I'm the one who is giving out the gold and judging. This gold comes directly from me by the way guys so when you win, you will have to look for a trade request and the gold will be waiting for you there. In order to receive the gold, all contestants must have their pieces sent in to me or shown to me. All pieces must have been judged and decided on so that it's fair.

Warning: You are not to use anyone else's work, nor can you base it too tightly off of something else that already exists. This is to be original in drawing, writing, or photography if that is what you choose to do. If you are not comfortable with either of these subjects, let me know if you would like to do something else. No TekTeks though, those are too simple. Also, if you do copy someone else's work, I will know, all it takes are a few key words in a search bar and I can figure it out, though I doubt any of you would do this.

Please note that all Sections of this contest will deal with Zodiacal, our role-play. Now this doesn't mean that, if you are writing something, you can't create a character for the purpose of your story, or that you can't make up the appearance or surroundings of the Celestial plain they all live in. No, this just means that the story has to some how deal with our role-play Zodiacal.

Note: You can enter in more then one contest, and so far, the three contests are made up of Photography, Writing, and Drawing. Please only enter 2 contests though per person. Who knows, you may win in another if you lose in one. Each section will have a set amount of gold that they can win for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. If a section only has 1 or 2 participants, then there will only be a 1st and 2nd place. If I have to, if there are too many people on one section, I will add a fourth place, and though you may not win much for that place, you will at least get gold. Though I'm not sure I will. If there is a tie between two people, and I can't find a way to break that tie, then you will both receive that place and that amount of gold most likely.

If previously you had no interest in joining in on the contest, and you decide that you would like to after seeing the options, then please let me know either here or through pm and I will allow you entrance once again. If you have not voted, please select one of the options by tonight whether you want to participate in that particular one or not. It will at least get you into the voting count.


Each Category will have its own rules! Please wait till all categories are up before you begin working on your piece. I may lock this thread temporarily as work is being done on it, so please be patient with me while I do so! Also, there will be a Deadline for this project! Please be sure to check back here as often as you can, if the thread isn't locked. When I decide what day it will start, I will most likely announce it in the main role-play section it his thread is locked.

This is the section for those of whom are entering the drawing portion of this contest, please refer to the rules and instructions below for how you should proceed with your entry. Rules that are broken may cause chances of your Disqualification from any or all Competitions so please be sure to read through each section thoroughly.

Instructions/Options:

For the Drawing section of this Contest, as a reminder, you must stick to the theme of our role-play Zodiacal. There are a few options that you may choose to Draw. If you wish to include members of the Chinese Zodiac (though they may not be the real ones mind you) to add something a little more interesting to your Drawings, you may.


Off-The-Wall (Or is it Canvas maybe?): You may Draw something completely random about the role-play. Basically something you would call FanArt. You do not have to draw your own characters, and can use any of the existing Zodiacal members. If you draw another Scion however, I would prefer it if you would stick to the Astrological ones that we are already using, rather then the Chinese ones, but if you can make it interesting, I may accept it, though once again, I would much prefer one with Scions we role-play as. ((though for Drawing there may be an exception, depending on what the scene is about.)

History: Does your character perhaps hold something of interest in their history? Do you want to draw something about it? Maybe it was a past life, or maybe it was the same life their in now, but they are surrounded by different lives of another Zodiac Scion? Well I'm interested in knowing if you're willing to show! Maybe they had a secret love? Maybe they did actually love someone in their past life? Did they lose a friend? Did they gain a friend? How did old ties become severed or new ones form, or maybe you want to explain how they became so alone if they prefer solitude over company? Whatever story you want to tell about your characters history, is your choice. (for this section you can draw a few pictures, a single picture, or maybe even a comic displaying something about the history of your Scion. If given permission from another characters owner, you may draw something about another persons history as well.)

Random?: What does or would your character do if he/she ever visited the human plain/realm? What would they drive? What would they eat? Where would they go? Live? Sleep? Would they be confused? Would they feel awkward in a place like that? Or maybe they feel more at home there? Or a little at home? Do they enjoy any part of this world? Well, put them in it and show me! It doesn't have to be how they would actually act, but it can be if you want it to be! This should be amusing right? (can be anything from a single drawing to a comic and anything between..whatever that might be.)


Manga: Do you want to draw about the story, or maybe you want to draw something else entirely about it in a fans way? Well here you can put it into the form of a manga if you want, and it doesn't have to be more then 2 pages, even though you can make more if you would like to. (the difference between this and the Comic strip section is that this one requires full pages of art with panels of different sizes on each page. This usually has much more detailed art then in a comic strip of the sort required here, even though even that requires descent art.)


Comic Strip: Maybe you just want to draw something amusing involving chibis and a lot of awkward issues/situations, or maybe you want to draw a straight 6 paneled strip of full sized zodiac members in a mini story or something. Well, here is your chance to show what you can do! The catch is though, that you either do one strip, 6 equal length, equal height boxes and a Random? (or one of the others in general) or you do 5 strips with 6 equal length equal height boxes and be done with it. Pick your poison.

Couples: You get the gist of this, I shouldn't have to explain it. ^ ^

Chibis: Well, you should get this one too, though you will also have to do 2 comic strips if you choose this one...unless of course you decide to make several chibis in one drawing. (at least 4)

Rules:

1: I know you have heard it a million times before, but IT MUST BE BASED AROUND OUR ROLE-PLAY.
2. I like details and colors, but if it's black and white and It still catches my eye then you're good...just remember that I like color. It wins extra points.
3. If they are couples, or pairings of any sex, please warn me if they have anything of even mild..well I think you get the point. Just warn me, and if you please, do not go into too much detail with it. kay? Cause this is gaia ya know, and they do have rules.
4:Send All Entries To Me Through P.M if you are not going to show me in person. If you would prefer through email, let me know, but unless you are absolutely doing a drawing, please do not ask for my email.

First Place: 30,000 gold + Choice of Shēngxiào member if guild is made
Second Place: 20,000 gold

Note: Because I do not discriminate against sexual preferences I do not mind if the content contains a Yaoi or Yuri couple, but you must give a warning in the subject line if it does. Please refrain from making it too graphic/in-depth, but I do not shy away from any form of relationship be it boy x girl, boy x boy, or girl x girl. Don't worry about the couplings bothering me either. Let me know if you would prefer keep it secret or not because those of whom would like, may have theirs posted up along side their winning position.
