Anna had spent quite a bit of time in her room after the whole Maul fiasco, trying to decide if she wanted to go home or not... and, partially, hoping that her parents had heard about the whole thing and wanted her to come home. It had been big news, definitely big enough to make it back home, but as the weeks went by with no letters or even skellyphone calls, her vague, anxious hope turned first to hurt, then to anger.

Now it was just... numb.

The witchling sighed and pulled on her shoes, wiggling her toes in them for a moment before getting to her feet. "C'mon, Shibey, let's... let's go for a walk."

< As you wish. It's become too stuffy in here, anyway, > the Incubator replied, stretching before jumping off the bed, then stretching again once he hit the floor. < Where? >

"I'm not sure..." But she did know, didn't she? She hoped that he'd moved in already.

Shibey watched her with knowing eyes as she paced down the hall slowly, checking the names on every door. It took a good fifteen minutes before she found what she wanted, down on the first floor, but she heaved a sigh of relief as she looked at the door of False's dorm. Surely he'd remember her, right?

Anna raised one hand and knocked.

Smoke wafted through the room, the sweet yet thick smell of Half Moon Grass filled the room as False smoked quietly from a long narrow roll of paper. The scent could be smelt even outside his room just faintly. Since moving in he had gone great lengths to feel more 'at home' in his room.

It was dark, smokey, thick and delicious. Just the way he liked it. Today he was minding his own buisness smoking away scribbling in a larger book, copying notes from the FEAR Elements class. Checking between the smaller copy in his note book before writing it over and over in the larger tomb.

"Door False!" Sharpie chimed as the ghoul knocked on the door outside.

"I hear it I hear it!" he shifted side ways in his chair spinning in the wheelie chair to get up, shuffling towards the door taking a slow drag from the Half Moon before proping the door open.

"Anna? Oh hey... how are ya?" He grinned lazily towards the ghoul as Sharpie slipped between his legs to wave with an inky paw. "I would have looked ya up but ah..." He gestured behind him in to the dimly lit room in the smokey haze behind him.

"Been busy getting it to feel like home ya know?"

"Oh good, it is you!" Anna heaved a sigh of relief, then coughed as she inhaled an unfamiliar lungful of smoke. Not that the smoke smelled bad, per se; it just hadn't been what she was expecting. "How are- cough! -you doing?"

"Yep me. Don't think it's anyone else. Cat, it's me right?" He looked down at Sharpie winding his way between his feet and between the white robes he was wearing. "Not sure, can we have a blood test to be sure?"

"Ignore the cat he's being smart again." He shifted moving infront of Sharpie ever so slowly pushing the cat backwards with a foot deeper into the room. "I've done rather well for myself so far. Enjoying my new room and er..." he took the grass from his lips poking the tip against his finger squishing it out before tucking it behind one of his ears. "Well, really, I've been doing well. Do you ah wana come in?"

"Sure, thanks," Anna said, smiling warmly up at him. She hid one last cough behind a daintily gloved hand before stepping through the open door, Shibey hugged to her chest. The witchling peered around the room with utmost curiosity, looking through the fine smoky haze to see what home looked like to False. Now that she was growing used to it, the scent of the smoke was kind of nice. Warm.

The room was indeed filled with smoke, even a hint of a mist, it was hard to say like a constant miasma floated about her, it wasn't strong enough to do any harm but if gave the feeling of one walking into a swamp, or some other dark place. The windows where covered with a series of black drapes blocking out the sunlight. Right beside those was a small row of pots growing thick bladed plants. The small two bedroom room wasn't very fancy, off to the side was personal room, foggier then the rest of the dorm, bed faintly covered by the haze and piles of books. The main room was dominated by a desk, the small couch pushed to the far side and a series of random tables and shelves holding books and small items.

Today in particular their was a large summoning circle in the middle of the room. A large pile of black sand sitting in the middle of it right beside Sharpie who was now using his tail to brush it back into a proper pile.

"Don't mind the smoke, ain't that bad for ya. Half Moon and it's sibling grasses are used to heal aches and pains back where I'm from, they also make for a good smoke along with old spices." He moved into the room proper with her clicking the door shut as he bent over to inspect the circle, "You hear about the Elements of FEAR class? You probably would have loved it."

"My family loved to work with herbs," Anna said, feeling a bit of nostalgia. While False's sense of decoration wasn't anything like her house, the warm dimness scented with smoke and plants was reminiscent of home. "I guess since you guys love fire, smoke's to be expected? Hi, Sharpie," she added, smiling at the cat.

Shibey squirmed and slipped out of Anna's grasp, landing neatly and padding over to investigate what the other familiar was doing. "So, um, are you... I guess you're settling in okay, huh? And oh, yeah, that class... I wanted to be in it, but by the time I got there the sign-up list was all full. Was it fun?"
PostPosted: Sat Feb 04, 2012 5:04 pm

"Not a working this so much, usually my family bought them in bulk, I started growing my own when I was away." He pulled the one from behind his ear and curtain of red hair rolling it in his fingers. "Smoke comes natural, and swamp air is rather thick and hazy to begin with so the smoke just kinda lingers about a lot."

The cat turned at his name grinning lazily like a cat would, tail thumping softly, "Hello Anna! You look much better today! No mean trees!" He turned back to the circle dusting the last of the sand before tilting his head at Shibey before moving to the side. "Summoning again. Working on elements of Air again." The circle was a thick black ink, the same that sharpie dripped, the sand a sample of what was used in class earlier.

"Yeah, yeah actually I am minus uhhh some stuff that happened a few days ago." He didn't want to talk about his day as a woman, it just wasn't really on his mind right now. Was a weird day in general. "Yeah though the class was fun, I never knew I could summon other FEAR elements I mean usually I stick to fire...."

He paused for a moment inspecting his smoke for a moment. "Would you umm like to try some?"

"Nope, no mean trees! At least not of the unexpected kind." Plenty of the tress on campus were technically mean, or at least rude, but they weren't the kind to half-kill you unprovoked. Usually. "And ohhh, summoning..." The witchling got a wistful look on her face. Hopefully that class would be offered again in the future... and she'd be able to get in.

"Some st- oh. Oh. You mean... that stuff?" Anna turned pink. That had been a weird, unpleasant day. She liked being a girl, Jack-darn-it! "Yeah, um, that was... that sure... happened... hopefully it doesn't happen often?"

She then gave the offered Half Moon grass a curious look before shaking her head. "Thanks, but... I think it'd just make me cough again."

"I haven't had any trees react to me on campus... it might be the whole Pyromancer thing. Fire and trees, they tend to never see eye to eye you know?" He moved across the room at the talk of summoning checking over the circle again smudging out a line with his foot and leaning down to rub his fingers in spare ink puddled to the outside fixing the smudged out mark. "Was a fun class, met a few Reapers and Demons, good fun all around. Professor had some nice toys in that room too."

"No False, no sneaking in to test them out and I know you're thinking about it." Chirrped the cat.

"Ignore him again. He lies." Of course the topic was now firmly turned towards the gender bending adventures that had come to pass. "Well umm considering the track record of Giftmas chaos and that... i have a feeling it might be the smallest of our problems we could face?"

He had taken the grass back by now puffing in thought, a habbit when working on projects in his own room. "That's what they all say till they trrrrry itttttt." His voice practically sang as he teased the ghoul.

Anna giggled at the interplay between False and his familiar, feeling a bit wistful - Shibey never joked. At least not like that. All his jokes were private, and often at her expense, she was pretty sure. "Y-yeah, I guess so. I still didn't like it, though," she mumbled, cheeks turning pink.

The re-introduction of the grass was almost a relief. "No, really, I'm okay... I like tea, though. Does it make tea?" Did that count as a compromise? She wasn't sure.

Joking and mocking one another was standard for the cat and boil. Granted at one point Sharpie and False where probably as bad as Anna and Shibey regarding cruel jokes towards the other, but considering they where stuck like this? Might as well make the best of it.

"Now now, no need to blush." He went back to his work for a moment before glancing over his shoulder through a curtain of red hair grinning, "You probably made a cute boil anyway." Seriously, so many ghouls would have squeed over her as a shy little boil he was almost sure of it.

"As for tea...." he seemed to ponder a moment before moving towards the window drawing a pair of scisors from the desk near by as he went. He clipped a few leaves and started to shred them up before grinding them down a bit in a small bowl.

"Cat get the kettle and some ink ready. We're having a ghoul for tea." He turned back to Anna, "That or some really funny tasting water that really isn't tea at all."

"Shall I bring cups and one for Shibey too?" Chirped the cat as he pushed a kettle from behind a stack of books with his head.

Anna blushed even more sharply as he talked about her making a cute boil. "I-I didn't look!" she squeaked, crossing her arms over her chest. "N-not after the first look! I wasn't... wasn't me!"

Fortunately, he didn't belabor the point, and she relaxed a bit as he agreed to tea. "Th-thank you. I'd love to try some. I love tea... and tea time, and cakes, and spookies," she said with a happy sigh, giving him a genuinely bright smile. "And nah, Shibey doesn't eat. I don't... think, anyway."

Shibey looked up at them, but said nothing. OwO

"Well you should have! It was a least fun for a short while. The rest of the day was panic and attempting to figure out how to reverse it for me. Gave up, went to bed. Woke up fine." He shrugged his shoulders as he went about preparing the tea lighting the little burner and filling the kettle with water from a flask on one of his desks. "Technically it was you. Just another version of you. If you had been born a boil, that would have been the face you wore. Granted mine didn't change much. My face rounded out a bit and ahhh certain parts of me swapped. The hair was the same though."

The splotch of ink dripped into the burner lit happily after another poke from False's finger, the kettle ontop starting to heat as he took a seat in a chair waving for Anna to sit down on his bed. "Tea's alright. I always drank water, never really felt a burning need to make it any fancier then it was." He tapped his chin, "Then again the process of making clean water in the Swamps was long enough the idea of taking longer to make it into something else when you're already thirsty just seems like an absured waste of time."

Sharpie of course was now staring at Shibey as they spoke. "Doesn't eat? Lies and Sorcery." He marched over tail in the air getting right in the Familiars face.

"I... I guess," Anna said dubiously as False talked about being a boil, or a ghoul, or vice-versa. "I hope it doesn't happen again, though."

She sat down on the edge of the bed, one shoe idly scuffling at the floor. "What was it like, living in, um, the Swamps? We always just had a cottage... my grandmother used to have one made out of gingerbread spookies, but it was hard to keep fixed up and stuff. But she loved tea... it doesn't take that much longer to make. Just a couple minutes."

Shibey, meanwhile, seemed completely unbothered by Sharpie's invasion of his personal space. OwO
