Himself: His biggest priority is himself, Akio's number one is Akio. His world centers around him and to keep him at the center takes time-consuming effort. Akio is his one true love and when he looks at that mirror in the morning and the one on his door before leaving, every detail will be immaculately perfect.
Singing and Performing: Akio would prefer to tell you that if anybody's picture should be next to these words in the dictionary, it should be him. Performing is as vital to him as air and water, if he's not singing, he's humming, composing or pulling some moves.
Karaoke Bars: Where's the best place to pull these moves and get some old-fashioned practice in the art of singing and performing? Karaoke bars, naturally. Even though he may not be on his way to international reclaimed fame yet, he plans to be a well-known face in Destiny City's karaoke bars. There is no song he cant do-- in a distinctly male octave.
Saxophone: An instrument is on the other side of singing. Akio simply can't stand not having the best of both worlds, taking up Itsuki's violin skills as a very serious challenge to his own singing and sax-playing skills. Taking out his time spent fan-gathering and karaoke hunting, Akio spends much of his time composing, singing and playing an instrument.
Long bathtimes: There are many acceptable delays in one's schedule and any excuse involving water is one of them. Perhaps, due to his other nature, his bath or shower times become one of the most vital and relaxing points of his day and he enjoys it to the fullest. Akio also wouldn't mind having an eyes bath with Itsuki and Kazuo.

Gentleman: Akio is known as a gentleman, inside and outside of the music industry. His world is a world, where as an idol, every word must be considerately balanced to balance his desires, his ego, the benefits and mutually, your attention and love. His lifestyle leads him to know what to say at the right time, to capture the attention and hearts of reporters, fans, managers, associates, friends and everyone else alike. There is no personality that Akio can't play to win you over, as long as it has the qualities of prince and charming.
Confident: Blessed with the amazing looks and personality he's been given, Akio has never been the type to hold back or hesitate. He does what he wants and what he wants gets done. Akio has the confidence to carry out all decisions, taking the consequences with an effortless stride. As long as he's happy with his decision and knows exactly what he believes, he couldn't care less if you don't think its a good idea or if you think any less of him for it.
The bar's up to me: There is no set bar. There never had been, it's always been up to Akio to create his own set of standards to live by. (Although it seems to change every five minutes or so!). Peer pressure is meaningless to Akio, he doesn't want to please them, he wants to please himself. As long as he thinks its acceptable, it is. Aside from few others, your opinions do not hold weight with him if they're not exactly his standards, not any more or less.
Time is of the essence: The life of an idol is only so long and a day is so much less. What can be done today simply can't wait until tomorrow, especially when a life can be cut so abruptly short. Akio doesn't hesitate to jump into the present, spending rarely, if any, time simply sitting around or sleeping. There's no excuse for him to waste it, he stays up late and wakes up early. That isn't to say delays aren't acceptable, wasting time unproductively simply is not. By extension, he is also an excellent multi-tasker, managing to accomplish looking good, attractive and to do at least two things at once. While that combination is usually fan-gathering and attracting a girl, there are many other combinations such as eating & composing or singing & showering.
Flaws:
It's just me: Everything is just about him. One may tell his the world doesn't revolve around him, a irrefutable statement. He's not perfect enough yet for the entire world to do so, he just expects the majority to do so. Akio has little time to bother with those not within his hemisphere but for those within, spotlight and decisions should be centered on him. Akio prefers everything to be influenced by his direction because he knows best. Arrogant and egocentric, he knows that he knows best and you should listen to him. If he tells you it's not going to work, it often does not work. Or, it simply does not work according to Akio. Consider your refusal carefully, Akio has a memory detailing every event about the importance of him.
Everything's perfect, it's never me: There is no flaw in any aspect of his lifestyle. There's never anything wrong with what Akio says, does or acts upon. Suggestions are welcomed, the ones he likes are taken and the ones not up to his standards will be considered. Anything otherwise in his life is adjusted to his degree of perfectionism. There is not a thing out of place with Akio. His clothes, his hair, his social and personal life, all of them are just right. Any problem is merely an inconveniences, it's only a mistake if he says so. Akio doesn't need to address inconveniences or mistakes, because such things are just swept under the rug and out of his life. It's never him, it's always something else.
Vengeful Gentleman: Akio has nothing less than a perfect smile on his face, with his perfectly styled hair and clothes that properly accent his accessories today. When he's disgruntled, his anger, annoyance and everything negative is intricately intertwined with his princely demeanor. As a gentleman, you fight diplomatically with your words and your eyes. When Akio is peeved, you will know exactly why and when and he will make it clear to you like the difference between day and night with his sweet-sour disposition. Barbed words will brush you off until he decides that you've sufficiently learned your place or he has cooled off.
Once upon a Romeo: No matter where he is, decorations on his arm are a must. At some point, there's no doubt that if a male could have a different girl every day of the week, he did it. Having adoring girls on his arm, the chase and glamor of it wears away quickly when it becomes anything more than an inch deep. It's not him, it's you. The world has so much to offer to him, you were just just an extremely small part of it. Miniscule, actually. A drop in the bucket, with all the rest.
