 Jin-Soo hoofed through the wind-touched hills, his steps silent in the closing dusk. The setting sun colored the grass a startling orange, casting half the world in brilliant light and the other in deepening shadow. It was a breathtaking view, as Jin found many things to be in this new land. It pushed him to discover, to see and smell and hear and touch and taste what he could, to always be on the move, to never stop striving forward. There was never a day that had gone by that hadn't held new adventures for him, and although the day was nearly over, he looked forward to what else it would bring.

Jin-Soo saw a brightly-colored mare in the distance, her mane and tail much longer than his own and dragging behind her. Wings as colorful as the spots on her pelt were pressed to her sides, and for a moment he was worried the flaring wind would take her. He was a grounded stallion -- always was, and always would be, with no regret on his end, for his heavy build made the thought of flying, and even jumping, seem perilous. It left him ignorant when it came to the workings of wings, however, but he was glad to note the stranger seemed to be in no danger of being swept away as she was.
He trotted towards her, meeting her half-way when he realized she was approaching him. He dipped his head politely when they neared and offered a welcoming smile.
"Hello," he said simply.

Sasukura smiled when the stallion she had spotted now seemed to be approaching her as well. She let out a huff before spitting out the lock of hair that was suddenly blown into her face and mouth from the wind, silently cursing it as she struggled to get her mane out of her face and clearing her vision. She was happy that her wings were tightly tucked against her side, otherwise she was sure she would have been tossed side to side, much like her hair.
Finally reaching the stallion, she stopped and returned his bowed head with a small bow of her own, smiling widely. "Hello yourself. How are you on this... fine day?"

Jin-Soo chuckled, shaking his head to free his own eyes of his wind-whipped mane. It reminded him of his youth, back when he still lived in his human’s village and had his mane cropped on a regular basis. Growing it out had been unusual, but not uncomfortable – until days like today, that is.
“I could be better,” he said, though his eyes glinted with amusement. He was an agreeable stallion by nature, and rough winds alone wouldn’t be enough to darken his mood.
“That’s really clever,” he continued, motioning with his nose towards the thick braids that weighed down her mane and kept all but her bangs from flying haphazardly about. “Did you do them yourself?”

She smiled warmly at him. "Well, that is much better than being terrible, if I may say so." Quickly, she scanned him over. My, was he a large stallion, obviously a draft. His markings were also quite stunning. A very handsome stallion indeed, but then again, she hasn't met a stallion she didn't like.
When he motioned to her braids, she quirked a brow for a moment before gazing to the one wrapped around her neck. "Oh... no. I wish I could. This lovely work was done by my human... well, I guess you can say guardian. I don't really live with her at her teepee, but she does tend for me when I stop by."
