Acubens hadn't stopped crying since she'd found the note in her hands. Oh god. oh god, oh god, oh god. She'd done all this. Because she was weak and stupid and... Keren might be bleeding or dead or worse. And all because of her. All because Acubens couldn't protect her. Oh jesus. Oh god, please help me. Miocah never was one for religion in general, and yet she'd found an almost cathartic sense of calm on the idea of god. Soemthing to control her now turbulent life. She talked to him now more than ever. God, I know I'm probably going to hell for a lot of things, but don't condemn Keren because I'm a wrtched human being.
Tears streamed down her face as her legs pounded the pavement. Her muscled burned, and her lungs were on fire, but she couldn't stop. Where was Pippin? This was the first time Acubens ever faulted him for not having a certain place to be. Oh god, oh god, oh god. The seconds ticked by in Acubens' mind, ticking off the seconds Keren spent in Lesath's clutches. The seconds she rocketted towards death. And Chaos. Oh god, if she died...
"She will never know that I love her." Acubens propelled herself forward, sobbs wrenching at her chest as she did so. Oh god, please be okay. Please, please be alright. Pippin... Pippin.
"Pippin!" Had she spoken his name? She must have, people turned to watch the histerical senshi as she burst through the streets. "Pippin, I need you!"

Pippin didn't have a really busy that day so it wasn't a surprise that he was walking up and down the streets, doing.....nothing. He walked up and down, up and down, looking for something to do. Nothing there was just nothing at all happening in this stupid place and he wanted something to do so bad. He pouted and sat down somberly. He started t close his eyes in hopes that something would happen. Closing his eyes he frowned and yawned until he hear something. Was it his name... No it couldn't be his name... Not many people knew his name because he couldn't talk to, too many people. He listen in and heard it again followed by a "I need you." It was a voice he knew...who was it....Acuben. His wonderful Velociraptor. She was so pretty and wonderful! He listen in on the sound and ran to her. "I'm here Acubens! I'm here My wonderful Velociraptor! Please just tell me where you are!" he said yelling a the top of his lungs.

Acubens frantically followed the sounds of Pippin's call, trying to find the small cat amongst the crush of people. Where was he? Acubens almost shoved a few people aside trying to pinpoint the kitten's location. Finally... finally she found him; almost stepped on his really. She fell to her knees, chest heaving, eyes red from her hysterical crying.
"Pippin," she cried, pulling the kitten up into her arms, squeezing him as hard as she dared before setting him back down on his feet. "Pippin... Pippin they took her! She's gone! I didn't wantch her when I was supposed to and now someone took her and what do I do?" Her voice was far too high, coming out in frantic squeaks as she tried to explain her situation. "Keren! Lesath took Keren and I can't find her!"

Oh his poor Acubens looked so sad. He couldn't help but shed some tears. He hated when his animals were unhappy, it hurt him the worst. He let out a small purr as she hug him. He couldn't help it, he love human touch and he hoped that it would make her feel better if she her him give her a small purr.
He frown and wiped away some of her tears. "Do you know where. I'm sure we can find her! I'm sure Acubens. Don't cry. I will help. Pippin will save the day. Just tell me the whole story." he said in a soft speaking voice trying to clam her down.
"Clam down Acubens. You need to do that first and then you can tell me what happen and then we can get Keren back." he said trying to forum a small smile.

"Lesath," Acubens cried, burying her face in her hands. "Oh god, Lesath took Keren! I told Lesath that I didn't want to corrupt anymore, that I have too much to take care of here, and she went totally postal!" Her last few words dissolved into full out sobbing that racked her whole body. "And she's powered up already, so I can't fight her! Lesath knows I can't beat her, that's why she took her, and why she let me know where she's taking her." Acubens flew to her feet, setting to pacing in her panic. Gesticulating madly, she muttered, "this is all my fault! I knew what would happen, if not explicitly, then I had some inkling. God, I'm so stupid! I've doomed Keren! She's finished!" On and on for several moments before turning back to Pippin. "There must be something I can do, Hobbit! Something, anything!"

"Ssh ssh. There, there. It's alright, Acubens. I'm here. No worries. i'm here and I'm here to take care of you." the little cat said in soothing words, trying to make her feel better. He knew it wouldn't really help that much but he knew that comforting words help even if it was just a little bit.
As she talked more and more he knew that it was time and could feel it through his body. The tiny star that place upon his forehead started to glow and he gave a smpile nod and smile to his dear friend. "Acubens? Do you have your pen because I think you're ready to move to your next stage of training." he said with a bright smile.

That was… certainly an odd statement. Training? Now? Of all times? Hobbit must have eaten something funny, or many something was just so shiny that it muddled his brain. Besides that what training could she possibly do with a henshin pen? Acubens gaped, her mouth opening and closed several times before she finally gave up. In the end, Pippin was her guardian cat, and he knew what was best. Even if it did seem more than a little off the wall. Her shoulders fell forward, aching from the tension that held them back. “Yeah I’ve… I’ve got it right here.” Acubens pulled out her pen as she spoke of it, hands trembling. “But Hobbit, this isn’t really the time or the place for training, I mean this is sort of an emergency, baby.” Acubens sniffed, cuffing her eyes with her plumed bracers. If Pippin thought training was best, then she would but... time was of the essence right now. Acubens wasn't sure if the Dark Mirror Court could drain someone to the point of death, and even if they couldn't there would have to have been some sort of far-reaching consequences, right? She looked at pippin finally, eyes red and puffy from the force of her tears. "Hobbit," she murmured, panic forgotten int he glow upon her cat's forehead. "What... what's happening to your star, Hobbit?"

He let out a small smile and laugh a bit. He loved his little Acubens but sometime she didn't see what was right in front of her. He didn't mean to laugh while she was upset but he couldn't just help it. She was just to presh for words and the little cat couldn't help himself.
"Ssh Acuben" he said, "I need to focus for just a second. You will understand in just a bit." he said taking the pen in his hand and letting it touch his star. He closed his eyes and focus. He knew it was time and it was the right time. He looked back up to her and place the pen back into her hands. "Her. It's time for you to grow up, but in senshi ways. I need to you to power up again. But this time you will change and become stronger. You will become a super senshi, my dear. It will help and you not have to worry now." he said smiling at her.

Stronger? Even through her panic, Acubens liked the sound of that. Like a lot. Strong enough to beat Lesath and save Keren, maybe? Even just a little bit closer was more than she'd hoped for, really. With this in mind, Acubens sniffed and stood, pen warmer now than it had been. She could swear it pulsed in her hand, but that might have been her own heart beat slamming through her. Carefully, voice cracking, Acubens called out the name of her star. This time, however, things were decidedly different. The light that once before enveloped her reached out from behind her like great claws and tore her fuku apart. the shrieks of raptors around her grew louder and louder as warmth filled her. When the light faded and the dust settled, she was changed. Her boots were now wickedly claws pumps and her skirt had changed color. Most importantly, however, she felt different. Something inside of her called out that this was right and that she could do this. When she finally opened her eyes again the first thing she did was swoop down and crush her baby hobbit so close to her. "Oh baby boy! Thank you so much! I'll make it up to you, I swear! I'll take you shopping and get you new toys and collars and -- " She'd stay and chat, except that there was a maiden to be saved. "I love you Hobbit," she called over her shoulder, tearing out of the alley way to save the day.
