Despite the fact that they'd only been official members of the Pridelands for a short time, it already felt like home. At least, Atilla thought so and he was fairly certain that Imre felt the same. Not to mention they had met quite a few interesting characters during their short time as pride members.
Atilla was quite happy with the pleasant personalities of the lions here, it was very rare to run into anyone who was grumpy or ill-tempered. Well, rare but not unheard of. His coffee colored tail gave a little flick as he moved forward, glancing behind him to locate his long-time friend. He grinned as he watched Imre for a moment, but said nothing as he looked forward again.
He was beginning to get a better feel for the territory the pride resided in, and was fairly certain they'd slipped just over the borders and into the rogue lands. Atilla thought that the more interesting characters they met so far had been rogues. With the thought came the spotting of a lone figure not too far off, and not too far away! It definitely lacked a mane, which meant that it was probably a female. "Oi!" He called back over his shoulder, nodding his head in the direction of the stranger.

Mmego-kaskazi had been wandering for quite a while now. She didn't MIND it, persay. After all, she got to see lots of new places and faces! But...well, it did get a bit tiresome, not having a place to call 'home'. For some reason, she'd never gotten attached to any one place. Shaking her head from that train of thought, Kas stretched and yawned...and blinked when she heard a voice. It didn't sound directed at her but...
Curious, her head lifted up again, bright green eyes blinking. Oh! There was a male not too far off! Perhaps...there was another one near him? Curious, and ever-friendly, she trotted towards the lion. "Hello! I wasn't expecting anyone around here!"

Imre was on his back, enjoying the sun and openness the pride had to offer. He loved being here, probably a bit more than his and Atilla’s old pride. There were so many other lions around, and not to mention there were quite a few females the two had already met. Atilla seemed happy to be here too.
At the call out, Imre rolled over, his head shooting up from the ground. He spotted also who Atilla had seen, flashing a pearly white smile to the other male, before watching the female curiously.
The coffee male must have attracted her attention, as she was coming straight for them. Imre’s head tilted at her comment. She must’ve not been from around here. Imre didn’t speak, he only gave the other a smile. Atilla would be his voice for now.

It was no surprise when Imre did not speak up, it would have been more surprising if the other had behaved in such a manner. Omre was naturally quiet, even around Atilla and the two had known each other for a very long time.
He grinned as she came their way, moving a bit away from his friend to meet up with her. Outgoing females were always a lot of fun... any sort of female was. "Eh, really now? S'close teh the pridelands an' all?" He teased, though he knew that most of the pridelands members chose to stay more in-land in the pride, they did not often travel out into the rogue lands.
"Bu' in anycase this be yer lucky day, cause even unexpected we do make such good company." He stated cheerfully, chuckling. "M'name's Atilla, tha' be Imre." He gestured to his darker pelted friend.

The lioness blinked. She was near pridal lands? "Oh! I hadn't realized I was near somewhere. I do apologize if I'm trespassing, or close to." Kas' sheepish smile was sincere, as was the apology that reached her eyes. The first male, the one she'd spotted, seemed so friendly though...perhaps, by his words, she wasn't trespassing at all. And the second one, though quiet, seemed nice as well.
"Ah...well than...good company is always a wonderful thing. Rogue life doesn't lend much to having it." She made a slight bow. "My name is Mmego-kaskazi...but just Kas is more than fine."

“I don’t think the Pridelands would be mindful of strangers as long as they didn’t bring trouble,” bright blue eyes scanned the female. With a smile, he added on, “and you don’t look like you would be one to cause any.” Imre lifted himself from the ground, dusting off whatever dirt that had accumulated on his body with his tail. He stepped next to Atilla, giving a bob of his head with the introduction.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mmego-Kaskazi,” Imre was one to be so formal at first. “Ai, indeed. Both Atilla and I know the feeling of the rogue life a little too well.” Both Atilla and Imre were looking for a home, and thus ventured the way towards the pridelands. They had lucked out when the found the great pride.

The nice thing about having a partner like Imre was that they often played off of each other's sentences, moving smoothly from one topic to the next or even staying on the same topic. In ways they were very different, but they had their similarities and meshed quite well. "Oi, I would no say tha' she looks completely innocen'." Atilla blurted out, teasing. He almost instantly felt comfortable with most strangers, so he treated them as he might a long time friend. He gave the lioness a grin to indicate he was just having a bit of fun, and even winked.
"Kas it be than." No way was he trying to spit out that mouthful, perhaps another day. After he asked Imre in private a few times to repeat her full name. He nodded at what Imre was saying, and though he'd enjoyed the adventurous aspects of the rogue life he much preferred the stable environment he'd found so that he could share it with his best friend. "S'true tha' it can be a bit lonely out there, bu' yeh do run inta great an' strange lions, no?" Right now, for instance, she'd run into he and Imre. Not the strangest or greatest, though he might like to think so on the latter bit, but a fun enough meeting.

Kas nodded. "I try not to cause trouble where I go. It's much better to make friends, leave behind smiles instead of frowns." Almost as if to demonstrate, her smile grew, and she found herself giggling at Atilla. "I'm certainly not innocent, no. But I'm certainly not a troublemaker, either. You need not worry about that." But innocence...ah, that was something only cubs and the child-minded had. She was neither.
"You are right, though, Atilla. You certainly do meet some interesting creatures as a rogue, when you do run across company." She tilted her head to one side. "Like you two. Are you settling here? Or resting here?"
