So I heard today that the reason that there a different sexualities is because of the stress levels of the mother during pregnancy can give off different hormones. Just a little thing I found quite interesting razz

I don't really think that's true its just another theory allot of people say Oh its in your DNA etc. etc. they just try to make up an excuse to understand things that's how humans are about everything.

I think it is just hormones in general. Did you know that all fetuses start out the same? They look like females at first but later start to develop once the hormones kick in.

Homosexuality is a combination of genetic and enviromental factors. Exactly which ones? That is still not completely known.
However, I don't think the "Gay" gene(s) should ever be found. What can be found, can be destroyed(or at least altered).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Altered levels or hormones, such as estrogen and testosterone, have little bearing, if any at all, on the outcome of a person's sexuality. It does however alter the body and mind. Like, say a guy with higher estrogen will normally be very feminine, both physically and mentally (This is coming from personal experience). Likewise, a girl with higher testosterone may be more manly at temperamental. In both cases, however, either may be completely straight.
As state above, sexuality is something that literally just happens because of our body chemistry genetic diversity. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Second, you can't cure it once its already there, only before he/she is born. So, unless you know your child is going to be born with down syndrome your not going to find it. Read my siggy, Im male.
XD well I apologize, sir. I was going off your avatar, I imagine I should not do that. And I know about designer babies, but they're not produced by altering the genetic material to make the child. It's just by selecting which pair of egg/sperm to but together to get what you want and getting artificially impregnated by the zygote. Or at least that's what I read last time I read anything about it, though I admit this was 4+ months ago. Also, can they cure genetic diseases while children are in the womb if they're discovered? That would be incredibly interesting.
