Cha'Time sat on the grass of the plains, he and Kwatoko had only just arrived in this region and had (thankfully) been able to escape the city fairly quickly. He never felt right in modern cities... Kwatoko his side staring across the plains, he wouldn't admit it but he was rather bored. Before there had been plenty of pokemon to keep him company, but here it was just him and his partner, not that he minded of course, it just would be nice to have more pokemon around.

Fay was restless. It was still many hours before her magic show would begin. For three nights a month, her and her fiancee would set up their magic acts with their pokemon and perform for the many who found enjoyment in their special talents. But for now, she was itching for something to do. Equally restless, was her spirited companion, Rumble. He waddled beside her, grunting in his cute little bear tone, his blue scarf slightly dragging the ground. As the two rounded the corner, their eyes fell upon another and his pokemon. Perhaps their restless energy would be put to the test?
(Kat will be attacking first)

Kwatoko jumped to his feet and chitterd a warning at Cha'Time who stood quickly and turned to face the others " oh, hello." he said with a small wave, he knew it was silly but pale-skins made him nervous as well, though not nearly as nervous as their cities made him. Kwatoko had spotted the pokemon and a gleam of mischief shone in his eyes "< You there, how would you like a battle? it has been a while since Ive had a good one>" he chirped at the teddiursa

Fay smiled as her two colored eyes shut softly. "Well hello there darling! pleasant day isn't it?" she grinned, flicking strands of her long wild blond hair from her face before placing her hand back at her waist, where several pokeball's lay nestled into a specially designed belt to house them.
Rumble glanced at the torchik, a smile curling at the edge of his lips. He grunted and scrapped his claws into the dirt. "" he grumbled, his little rear wiggling with excitement.

Cha'Time shuffled nervously and nodded " er yes, the sky is very clear.... and the temperature is nice as well."
Kwatoko, without another word opened his beak and shot a stream of fire at Rumble
Cha'Time jumped as he had not expected that he groaned, this would mean a battle for sure...

Fay couldn't help but giggle. He was shy and sweet. But as his torchik fired a stream of fire at her little teddi, her eyes narrowed in good natured fun. "Seem's we have a battle on our hands! Alright then, my little Rumble, show him what your made of!"
Rumble braced himself but was hit dead on by the blast and could only endure till it was over. Once the blast was finished, he grunted. It was his turn. He glanced to the side of him and began slinging large rocks and boulders at the torchik.

cha'time winced watching the pokemon battle " please be careful Kwatoko.."
Kwatoko squawked as the rocks came hurtling at him he jumped to the side avoiding the worst of it but was hit by pieces of the rock's that broke of on impact. He fluffed up his feathers then set off at a dead run and aimed a kick at the Teddiursa.

Rumble was ready this time, as as the torchik came hurling at him, he side stepped to avoid the kick, spinning around on the bird with claws out, lunging forward with a slash attack.
Fay giggled in delight as a pokeball seemed to magically appear on her fingertips. A slight of hand trick she often did when she was excited. "Your little friend is quite good!" she grinned. But her little bear was better... or at least so she thought anyways, seeing as the attack missed.

Kwatoko was flung back by the attack, he got back to his feet and shook himself. With a growl he kicked up a rock and flung it at Rumble.
Cha'time nodded " as is yours.." he replied he didn't care who won he just hoped the loser wasn't badly injured.

Fay smiled at his words. "Thank you! I do love him so." she grinned as she slightly twirled in place. A battle always got her spirits up. "Lets go Rumble, darling, how about a little earthquake?"
Rumble grunted at his trainer. That last attack stung pretty good. As he shook bits of rock and dust off himself, he lumbered forward a bit, reared up his front paws and slammed them as hard as he could into the ground.

Kwatoko fell over as the ground beneath him began to tremble and shake. When the quake subsided, Kwatoko stood looking a little worse for wear. but he was stubborn and wouldn't give up. He shot forward aiming another kick for his oppnent

Rumble was not enjoying these kicks from the pesky little bird. Shaking his head to steady himself, he let out a loud huff. He ached where the little chicken's kicks were landing, and it only fueled his anger as he leaped forward for another slash attack.

Rumble was definitively feeling pain and tiredness right about now, but he was stubborn, and not about to give up yet. With a grumble and a roar, he grabbed as many rocks as he could and flung them at the chick once more.
