 Even though it was cold outside, it was a perfect day for flight. The sun was bright, which made the snow sparkle, and the wind was gusty but didn't fight with her as she soared through the sky. Flying was so much fun for Lori, she didn't ever want to touch the ground again. But she'll have to eventually, to eat and to be with her father and such. It made her sad but that was the way life worked and the fact of it made her appreciate carefree moments like this more. So Lori continued to flutter about, acting like nothing was wrong.

 Asher was flying when he saw a twinkle of color. He swooped towards what now turned out to be a very beautifully colored noodle. "HI" She shouted, he was pretty far away. He wondered if his beaked face would startle her? He hoped not. He flew a little closer to get a better look, it turned out it was a she, and she looked amazing with the colors. He didn't dare to speak again until she said something, if she did.

Seeing something large and black swooping towards her startled Lori. She squeaked loudly and flipped over in the air but steadied herself in seconds. After getting over the initial surprise she was able to see that it wasn't a big black bird that flew at her but a big black flying noodle.
"Hi!" She hoped that she didn't scare him off when she got scared for a split second. It always sucks when a potential friend ran away before she got to know them. Fluttering a little closer, Lori saw that the noodle had a bag with him. "Are you going somewhere? That bag looks important!"

He noticed she was scared, but then she started to calm down. "Oh this? I carry things I might need in it, you could say it's a magic bag...but it isn't really magic, that would be interesting. But yea, I have a book on EVERYTHING, so if I need to look something up, I can find it in my book."
"Sorry for startling you, I know my face can be scary, you probably thought I was going to attack you." He winked at her. "I wasn't sure what you were, but now I can see you are a very beautiful noodle. My name is Asher, very nice to meet you."

"Oh? No! I didn't think you were scary! Or you were going to attack me!" Lori said very rapidly. "I was just startled! My dad always told me to watch out when big things come at you while flying." She paused in her stream of words to realize that she was being complemented. "Oh. Thank you! My name is Lori!"
Her ear wings started to flutter faster at the mention of a book inside his mysterious bag. "A book on EVERYTHING? Wouldn't that be kinda heavy?"

"Yea, It's pretty heavy, it is more like book on everything you can think of, but it doesn't cover everything, like diving, or even flying. Just fact book. But I'm a tough guy, I can handle it." He smiled. " My name is Asher, nice to meet you. Your ears are are pretty, I have never seen any ears like that before, did your dad teach you how to fly? I wish I knew my parents."
"So how are you today? It is such a nice day, beautiful for flying" He smiled then twirled around to show off.

"Yeah my dad taught me how to fly! Well my mom too but mostly my dad." Lori had a huge grin on her face. "I got my ears from my mom! And my tail too."
But upon hearing about Asher's parents her smile turned into a frown. "Well... parents aren't that great sometimes. They keep on telling you what to do and what you can't do and such." Her face lit up again when Lori saw him twist in the air. "I can do that too!" She exclaimed as she pulled off a twisting trick of her own.

(sorry I took so long, but I couldn't think of anything, but then it hit me, when I was in bed so I had to rush to get on and get it down >.< )
"Oh, your mother must be quite the looker." **He smiled.** "Hey I was wondering if you would like to go down to that lake with the waterfall down there?" He pointed towards a beautiful lake. "I mean I'm not tired, it's just hard to hear with all this wind, and I would love to hear more about your family. I really want to meet your parents, or at least see their pictures."
He realized he felt something for this noodle, he wasn't sure, but it felt very good, is this love? If it is, then he really liked it...But he just met her. He was confused, but he would just ignore this feeling until it would be appropriate time.

((That's alright. You should see how long it takes for me to reply sometimes. XD))
Lori glanced down at the ground, which made her slightly dizzy but at least she saw the waterfall. "Oh! Sure we can go down there. I like swimming too! Except it's kinda cold for swimming." She didn't really mind that she couldn't go playing in the water though. She really enjoyed talking to Asher since he was an interesting noodle. And she was glad that Asher was interested in her. And her family!
She dove towards the waterfall, glancing up now and then to see if he was following. Once she landed, she stretched her limbs and wings for a bit because they were sore from all that flying. "So what do you want to know?"

"First I wish you had pictures of your family"
(Yea, I'm very nosey >.<)
"I just think they must be very nice people, I mean you are so polite so you know they are doing right at raising their children." He sat down after stretching, then wrapped his tail around himself. "I agree, it is much too cold to swim." He looked at the water and shivered. "I like swimming if it's not really cold.... I have been pushed into freezing water, not fun at all!"
He went and sat under a tree and relaxed. He patted the ground next to him. "You can come sit next to me....if you want to I mean." He looked at her now, as she was standing still, her colors were beautiful, the markings were amazing. "I wish I was as colorful as you are, I'm all plain and boring..." He yawned covering his mouth, he was more tired then he realized.

((XD Father and Mother)) "I don't have pictures of my family with me." Lori said, tilting her head. It was an odd question to ask but she just felt bad that she didn't have what he wanted. "I can describe them for you though! My father, his name is Jijmah, is white, black, and rainbow like me, and his wings look like mine too. I got my wings and my tail from my mom though. Her name is Speciul. And she's white, red, and blue instead!"
Realizing that she was rambling a bit, she stopped and blushed. "Yeah I guess being pushed into freezing water isn't fun when it's a surprise. Are you tired? It can wake you up!"
Lori wasn't actually thinking about pushing him into cold water though. She wandered over to his side and sat down. "I don't think you're plain and boring though. I mean you have your bag with your book! You don't need markings to be interesting!" She said with a smile.

"Yea, I shouldn't have asked for pictures, it was rude of me, I'm sorry, I just imagine they must be beautiful and handsome, and they do sound it." He yawned again. "Ugh I'm so tired i don't know why, I think I need a power nap." He stretched then jumped up. "NO, I NEED TO WAKE UP!! Only way to do that is to jump in!" He runs then jumps in with barely a splash, he was a good diver.
He sprang out of the water. "HOLY CRAP!!!!!" He spun around until most of the water was off of him, he flew back to Lori. Ugh, I feel more awake, but now I feel sick..." He covered his face and sneezed. "I'm not the brightest person..." Flops down on the ground world spinning.

Lori only managed to utter a "huh?" before Asher went from tired and sleepy to jumping into cold water. She yelped as droplets of water splashed all over her but she was a little more concerned as to how her friend was feeling.
"Omigosh! Are you ok?" She said, then frowned when he sneezed. "We should go inside to warm you up!"

Asher sniffled then pouted, he did not think this through.... He felt like such an idiot, if he hadn't yet, he was sure now to scare her away. It's bad enough he has a beak, but now I'm sneezing, I am an idiot! He covered his face again and sneezed. "Ugh, I'm so sorry, I wasn't thinking, I hope you aren't mad. But Yea, we could go somewhere nice and warm, wherever you like."
He was sad that he was putting pressure on her to pick the place, but he only knew about his lil place in a huge cozy willow tree. But it wasn't really warm, and there wasn't really alot of room, tho he wondered how good it would feel to cuddle her in his lil bed. He pictured it in his head and smiled, then sneezed twice, glad he covered his face in time.

"I'm not mad! Why would I be mad?" Lori said. She wished that she had a tissue or something to give to Asher. The poor noodle was sneezing all over the place. She pressed her body against his in hopes of warming him up. "We can go back to the store, unless you know of any place closer."
