Well. Here he was. Enzo grunted, dropping one of his bags to let it land on a squirming, squeaking pile. Fantastic. She had won. He was trapped. At least this place had a better vibe to it than the last one. The gates of Amity loomed behind him, and the young reaper pulled his hat down to his nose before thrusting his hands into his pockets to trudge forward. The rats following did their best to drag the bags behind him, but The Boss quickly wheeled himself up alongside him, thrumming a few encouraging notes.
Enzo snorted, "Like hell I'm stayin'. You heard about that malarkey that went down at Giftmas," He paused for another few tones of retort, "I don't care if it was rumor, this place is trouble. s**t, don't even know where the hell- you'd think they'd lay a map out or some such." It was certainly larger than his last school. But whether or not this was the 'best place for him', as she put it, would remain to be seen.

Not long after the duo arrived, a little nergal miced tea had showed up. The critter peered up at Enzo curiously, seemingly intrigued by the two. Tilting his head, the mouse got up onto his haunches and waved up at the Reaper before letting out a squeak.
His coat looked pretty clean and whatnot, and judging his demeanor, he was likely someone's pet.

Enzo's rats, not quite thrilled to be used as a cart for his belongings soon dropped their bag as their master tried to figure out which way they aught to have been going. With The Boss equally distracted, some had even scampered off, but a couple noticed the small little black and green mouse with growing, hissing interest. Well, looks like dinner would come to them tonight!
One gave a threatening hissing squeak, scampering forward boldly to investigate, but a second gave the first a sharp shove, wanting to get there first, and soon there was a pile of rats all fighting over just WHO would get to eat the nice little friendly mouse.
With a sigh, Enzo finally noticed, stooping over to pick it up by the tail, "The hell's this? A new recruit? Fine, fine, whatever," Once the distraction had been removed, The Boss gave a fresh series of notes and the rats quieted down. "Just keep up," He informed the mouse before tossing it back to the ground. Rodents were, he found, very durable. Almost as durable and a hair more reliable than roaches anyway. "I don't suppose you know where the hell I'm s'posed to crash, huh?" He snorted. "No orientation, no welcome committee. What sorta' school is this."

Suddenly Bent-Tail wasn't so certain about meeting with this student, judging the hissing pile of hungry rats nearby. Food? No no no. He was not food! A friend! Not food! His ears flattened back and he inched away a little nervously, only to be picked up by the tail. Hey!
This definitely did not go as he originally planned. Normally with his wave and squeak routine, people picked him up normally or gave him head pats! Then again, that tended to work better on females he noticed. Hm.
And the next thing he knew was that he was tossed back to the ground, bouncing lightly. It didn't hurt, but his pride was a little damaged from being tossed like that. Taking a moment to adjust himself, he peered up at the student as the question was asked. Well, maybe he could get more attention if he helped. He did kinda save him from getting eaten anyway. Looked like a reaper. He knew where those lived! With a nod, he began to scamper off towards the reaper dorms.
"Bent-tail! There you are."
Oh hey, there was his owner too. Skittering on over, he bolted right up his leg to take a perch upon the shoulder, waving back at the new student with the many rodents.
Shun took note of the stranger, eyeing the large amount of rats that seemed to be toting along the bags. He must have just arrived.
"Friends of yours?" he asked the mouse with a raised brow, who... nodded a little hesitantly. They did think about eating him and all. The nergal then pointed back towards the reaper dorms, hinting that's where the destination was. This was all interesting, but Shun originally thought to just wander off now that he located his pet. The moment he began to turn away, Bent started to chatter into his ear incessantly.
"Jack dammit, fine," he murmured before turned to the new kid, "Reaper, right? This way."

"Hmm?" Enzo glanced up from attempting to prod his vermin back together into a more productive huddle, (They had just been attempting to make a break for it as he had been distracted) when the voice reached him. "Oh! Yeah, man. Ab-So-Lutely. You a Reaper too, I assume? Good deal, good deal. I just transferred." He gave a snort that made it clear he wasn't happy about it. "Why aint there a damn map? Keepin' us on our toes from day one, I assume, huh? Name's Enzo. You?" Shifting his bag, he gave a grin as he offered out his hand to shake, pushing his hat up to see his new friend more clearly.
A roach dropped off of his sleeve as he did so.

So he had a new kid on his hands for sure then. Shun looked him over briefly before glancing to the bass nearby that seemed to be alive. Was that a weapon or a familiar? He wasn't really sure how to classify that.
"There might be some by the office," he shrugged at the comment about maps. He hadn't really looked. During his early days, he just wandered around a lot to find out where everything was. It took a little more time, but that was a bit more effective for him, personally.
"The name's Shun," he replied before glancing down at the outstretched hand. The roach falling out of the sleeve caused a raised eyebrow to hit his features. Slowly, his own hand came out of his pocket to shake Enzo's. The roaches and rats didn't bother him. He just didn't really shake hands with people all that often.
"You know what room you're in?"

"Ah, yeah, yeah. In the papers somewhere. So, Shun," He politely did not snicker at the name, mostly glad he himself had not been shunned, "How long you been here? I keep hearin' stories about this place, don't know from nothin' how much is for real or not, but my Sis was adamant about the whole enrollment thing," he wove a hand dismissively.
He blinked at the little green and black mouse, mouth twisting into a fresh smirk, "Oh, little guy was your's huh? Sorry about that. Got me a fierce case of animal magnetism, if you know what I mean."

Shun gave Enzo a bit of a flat stare as his name was pronounced incorrectly. He was obviously not very amused. But this time around, he decided to dismiss it for the most part.
"Shun." he corrected, before leaving it at that. This guy wasn't the first to say it wrong.
"I've been here for about nine months. If those stories you heard are about the various dangers and chaos that has happened, they are most likely true," he replied before raising an eyebrow regarding the enrollment comment. The reaper couldn't be sure if he meant that his sister was trying to get him to enroll or prevent it. It could have gone either way. But he supposed it didn't matter all too much at this point.
"Bent-Tail? Yes, he's mine. He likes to run off to meet new people now and then anyway. Though.." he paused to look at the mini horde of rats in Enzo's wake, "I see what you mean anyway. Seems like they listen to you pretty well enough too."
