Since my face is new around here, let me explain.
I'm the guild's new mule account. My primary function will be to accept donations that can be used as a store for prizes in future contests as well as to be the host of said future contests. All donations made to this account will be used for the SHINee guild indefinitely. The hope is that with a very active owner, the guild will follow suite. Your participation is what makes this guild great. Without you, we cannot succeed, so this begins my plead that the new year bring us together.
Big yawn right, new mule? WRONG!!! Because I'm introducing the first contest right now!
Help us welcome in the new year by welcoming the new mule! My appearance is very plain and my name seems like I could be cursing our favorite group out - NOT the message we want to send! The contest will be a three way race: one to rename me, two to alter my appearance, and three to decide what kind of contest you'd like to have next. The rules are pretty simple, but read below for information on how to enter!
Mule Name Contest

Mule Avatar Contest
Gaia starts avatars with some pretty nice duds, but I can't help but notice that I'm not that impressive to look at in comparison to the fantastic avatar ensembles of others. Do you think you could help me out? If so, then do the following: Post a response to this thread in red

Future Contests Contest
A bit much to say, no? Anyhoo, we have to plan for the future! It won't do any good for the guild to host various contests if they're not what YOU want to do or if it doesn't have prizes YOU'D like to win, so now's a good chance to speak up. Volume matters, so if a lot of people pull for one or two ideas, they will have top priority. I want to have 3-4 contests a year on a regular, so sail this ship to the waters you want. PrIzEsFor winning any one of the above contests, you will be eligible to win one of the three items found in the Lunar Dragon set!
You pick your prize in chronological order of your submission. For example, if the winner of the avatar contest posted the winning entry on 27 Jan, the name contest on 31 Jan, and the contest contest on 2 Feb, then the avatar contest winner will get first pick, then the name contestant winner, and the contest contestant will receive the remaining prize. I encourage you to enter as soon as you can!
***IMPORTANT*** You can enter as many contests as you'd like as many times as you'd like - yes you can win more than once
You will not be disqualified if you don't post in the appropriate colors, BUT, it makes it exceedingly easy to see your post and consider it for the contest. I don't want to miss your post, so make it stand out!
DO NOT SEND YOUR ENTRIES TO THE EMAIL BOX OF MYSELF OR ANY OF THE GUILD CREW MEMBERS; this will result in disqualification
Feel free to add any extra information if you feel it will make your entry a stronger one. Also, the criteria that I want you hit don't have to be mini essays.
Ex: "I think people will like this avatar because he's hip and cute, just like SHINee!!!" is a great explanation for an avatar entry.
Although this space is namely for contest entries, feel free to chat with each other, too!
I'm wanting to end this contest on 4 Feb 2012, but that seems a bit soon. IF there are at least 15 entries by 5 different people at that time, then I will end the contest. If this is not the case, then it will conclude at the end of February.

Kawaii Yami Rorita well I think it nice trying to save up gold. I've been well-worked on in order to have a strong starting point for the guild. This account's seen way more action than my main account by far since its creation. I want to do my best. Recently, that's meant tireless hours of Booty Grabbing and doing odd jobs on Gaia. I hope you'll enter a contest! I'm actually surprised the new name contest wasn't the first to have a contestant. It's the easiest to enter.

Well, people not in our guild would wonder, "what's a shawol?" Using this username will represent yourself well to them because it shows how proud you are to be a Shawol. heart Thank you for making this wonderful contest. ^^

Syaini = i like how it sounds and its the pronunciation of SHINee
5 = because there are five members of shinee
Star = five stars from the universe
it all just goes together and how can anyone in the guild not like it since it has to do with SHINee

 3nodding I think that people in and outside our guild should appreciate this avatar for it's simplicity and cuteness. And I think you should choose it because it represents SHINee's trademark style of 'Sweater and Skinny Jeans" ( 4laugh a quote from a designer!) heart

Im proposing the name Hello Juliette,
I think people within our guild will like it, because it's directly referencing two SHINee songs without that fact being blatant in your face. Both songs 'Hello' and 'Juliette' have a very happy, nice feel to them, and I want our members to have those kinds of happy, nice thoughts when they look at our new mule. 3nodding
I also think people outside our guild will find this intriguing, because it's like a play on words, when you say 'Hello, Juliette' it has a nice feel to it, and people can instantly feel a connection with it even if they don't know SHINee, because everyone knows who Juliette is, so it kind of subconsciously brings in a Shakespeare, elegant feel.

I'm afraid I need a bit of clarification on this one. sweatdrop The screen name is actually too long to be used as a valid screen name if, in fact, you meant for "S.H.I.N. double E SHINee Go!" to be the screen name. I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to revise your entry.
