There was simply not enough minutes in the day. The young smoke demoness was trying to get herself sorted after a morning of moving into her new dorm room. It had taken little effort on her part, and more effort by her older cousins to get her moved into the tiny space before everyone had left. Now she was stuck here, in the middle of the dorms wandering around wondering what to do. She needed to know where things were, and the only people who could give her a proper tour were fellow students. Most of them were indeed, in their dorms or out, which frustrated Michi to no end.
She fidgeted, her long bright blue nails smoothing down the sides of her shorts as her equally colored eyes glanced about. Small tendrils of smoke darted around her figure even as she took a few steps forward. Where was everyone? It was just after school was supposed to be done, so maybe not everyone was head to their dorms just yet. But someone should be here right? Michi scowled, before her gaze landed on a boil who was wandering down the path in front of her.
To be sure, he was a zombie. She could tell by being a few paces behind the guy, but Michi wasn't a demon who ignored someone because they were undead. Instead the ghoul sped up her pace, and soon a bright blue nail was carefully tapping him on his rather tall shoulder. This guy was a big one, wasn't he?
"Hey there! I'm new around here, I was wondering if you could give me a few directions around this place, or you know, maybe a tour if you have time cutie?"
There Michi went, always with the flirting. It was like her very voice, a soft, lower tone for a female just oozed the flirt along with her words. She even tilted her head slightly to the side, her hair and smoke continuing to move ever so slightly about her round, red face.

Alexander had been moving along at his usual slow and steady zombie shamble. His classes for the day were over, and he was making his way at a snails pace towards the Undead dorms, and thus, his bedroom. Things that had been on his mind way too much lately were beginning to take there toll, and for once he just felt like going and sitting alone in front of his computer all night, rather then make his usual trek over to the library to read until morning.
That was, until somebody came up from behind him to tap on his back, and speak to him in an unfamiliar voice.
His head swiveled around, cool grey-white eyes falling upon the somewhat short, round faced, red demoness behind him. He already had a smile on his face, as he almost always did, as he then shifted his body to be facing her.
But then that's when he saw the whisps of smoke, and noticed that she was actually producing heat from where she stood. It wasn't like Danny, to be sure, but it was enough to make him take a stumbling step backwards, an arm raised up towards his face as though to protect himself.
Smoke meant fire.
SMOKE meant FIRE.
FIRE BAD!
Though as his eyes moved over her, sweeping her up, then down, then up again in search of said fire, nothing could be seen, and he visibly relaxed...a little.
Wait, had she just called him cutie? What was with so many ghouls calling him that, lately? Not that it was a bad thing. In fact, he rather enjoyed it, so he graced her with a large grin, showing a little teeth, before letting out a chuckle.
"I'm sorry, not used to pretty ghouls coming up on me from behind like that. You're new here?" Well, that is what she said, and Alex honestly couldn't say that he'd ever seen her before. He never forgot a ghoul~ He then continued on.
"Names Alexander, or Alex...whatever you prefer." He held out a hand, the same one that he had moments before been using as some type of useless, rotting, shield.
"I haven't actually been going to the school all that long myself, but I could certainly show you around." he gave her a wink.

Well that was certainly a reaction Michi only got from the undead. A lot of them had this idea that her being smoke usually meant there was a fire somewhere near by. Instead, she just had wisps of smoke always floating about her. There wasn't a fire anywhere at all. She was just her smoke demon self. A grin popped on her lips, and she shook his hand calmly. Her long acid blue nails probably would have made her much smaller hand a little awkward in his grip, but oh well.
"Yes Alexander. I'm Michi, and showing me what you know would be perfect!"
Alright, so the smoke demon knew this was going to be a slow tour what with him being a zombie and all but... a tall cute boil was not to be abandoned! Doubly with him winking at her! Her mother would just hate a zomboil dating her daughter. So beneath the family.
"And if we find a place you don't know, maybe we can explore it together. How long have you been here for?" Michi made it almost sound like jail, but honestly she was freer here than she ever had been at home and it was only the first day! She put a saucy smile on her lips and gave him a wink right back. Ah, flirting was always fun. And as long as this Alexander kept on flirting, Michi would put up with his slow pace any day.

Alex reached up to run fingers through his thick mop of hair, pushing it out of his eyes as he shook her hand with his other. Her hand was quite a lot warmer then his, which was cold and quite stiff in comparison. He continued to grin down at her warmly, though, rather amused by the return wink he received.
She was a forward one, wasn't she?
"Well, as long as you don't mind it taking a while to get there, I'm all yours for the afternoon, and possibly evening as well" he raised his eyebrows somehow suggestively, not really sure why he was doing it. Sure, he had flirted with ghouls before, but it didn't seem to hold as much excitement as it once had for him. His mind kept wandering to somebody, but at least this Michi girl was already proving to be a good distraction. She was quite a bit different then any ghoul he'd encountered at the school thus far, spunky and a little bit sassy.
He relinquished his hold on her hand, and continued on.
"Is there anywhere in particular you wanted me to show you? The lake? The library? Are you from around here or did you move from quite far away?"
Yes, Alex was quite the inquisitive zomboil, and couldn't help but ask a bunch of questions. He had begun to walk along, hands finding there way back into his pockets as he looked down at the demon ghoul.

Perfect, just perfect! He was willing to give her a tour. Not that she was going to pay all the attention to Amity. There was only so much attention Michi could give anything, and at the moment it was going to Alexander. Ah, the smoke demon did like a nice, tall boil.
"I've never been here actually. Never visited, never heard about it because I don't have any siblings. So I don't have a single clue what's even here. How about we start with the places you like?"
From far away? Well, her family did live on the outskirts of the hell region of Halloween town, and Michi wasn't allowed to go very far. But that wasn't something the smoke demoness wasn't going to be telling anyone anytime soon. No one needed to know who her mother was, or that she was from that family. It was enough to deal with regularly that Michi didn't want to bring it to school.
She'd keep pace with him, looking around, and then back at him. A slight smile was on her lips, fangs protruding as always. The red demon could handle this pace. Maybe not until evening, but at least for the afternoon. A ghoul had to have some limits to things, and it wasn't like it was Alexander's fault he walked so slow. Zombies were zombies after all.
"How long have you been here at Amity? Any good parties or things happen or happening any time soon?"
If no parties were going to start happening soon, then Michi would have to throw some. She was not the sort to go long without a shindig of some sort, that was for sure!

"No siblings hey?" He asked, idly wondering what that might be like. Alex himself had four siblings, 3 sisters and a brother. He just couldn't imagine a life without them in it, or the rest of his families horde. "I guess that's not such a bad thing. Mine cut my head off, once." He lifted his chin up to show off the long, stitched cut across his neck, still stained with blood even after all those long long years. Ghouls liked scars, right?
Places that Alex liked? Somehow he doubted this ghoul wanted a tour of the library, or of Alex's messy room (or maybe she did with all the flirting and gazing up at him she was doing). "I'll take you to the lake then, it's nice there, and close to the..the monster dorms..." Just thinking about those dorms made him think about a certain friend of his that resided there, but he quickly pushed Yin from his mind. Focus on the pretty ghoul!
But now she was asking about parties, and fun. "I've only been a here for about 3 months now, and I can tell you that things so far have never been very dull." He didn't want to mention the fact that he'd managed to dissipate twice already. He also didn't really want to mention that he hadn't been to any parties since coming to the school. No need to make himself look completely lame, so he altered the subject a little. "I'm sure you've heard all about the Christmas Invasion on the news. That was pretty exciting. Oh, and just a few days ago, everyone swapped genders." He frowned, remembering how horrible that had been, all those emotions, the boobs, the lack of other parts he had gotten somewhat fond of in the last sixteen years. "It only lasted 24 hours though, but I have to tell you, I made a pretty fantastic looking ghoul." He grinned down at her, still trying to act cool and a little flirtatious to hold her attention.
As they continued to walk, Alex made a turn in the path, veering them towards the monster dorms. It wouldn't take too much longer to get there.

"Your siblings cut your head off?" Alright, that was a little startling to Michi. Of course she was thinking more about her own head, even with one small hand rising to touch her own neck. Of course she wasn't an undead, so things wouldn't go back together as easily or as cool. She laughed after her nails touched her throat, finding the image in her head funny.
"Well, yes I heard about the invasion. I kinda came here hoping for a more exciting life. There was just nothing new about back home. Same old ex-boilfriends, same sorts everywhere. I thought it'd be more upbeat here."
The ex-boilfriends were always a problem back home. Since everyone lived in homes passed down in their families, or moved out of their parents to start their own adventures, and so there were never any new faces.
"That would have been interesting. If I ended up looking anything like my dad though... I'm glad I wasn't around for the gender swap. He has way too much facial hair to be called cool."
Michi probably would have gotten larger horns, been half a foot taller, and gotten some facial hair indeed. The males in her family were huge compared to her much smaller self. Her cousins were indeed a hulking pair of twins if anyone ever saw them. But then again their mother was a bit of a big brute herself.
"I bet you did though! I really can't imagine it to be honest. If I had shown up then, I probably would have gotten a shocker when everyone reversed, thinking everybody was actually the switched gender. Very glad I came after it."

"Uh, ya..my twin sisters did it. They never did explain why they did, though, just that they wanted to see what would happen." He realised suddenly he didn't really want to talk about his sisters. They were not his two favorite people in Halloween.
Ohhh, so she had some ex boilfriends? Alex didn't even have a single ex ghoulfriend to boast about, let alone the plural format. "I'm pretty certain if things keep up they way they have been around here, you will not be disappointed." That could really be taken as a good thing, or a bad thing, Alex supposed. Jack knew his mother wasn't all that thrilled about some of the things he'd let slip during phone conversations. She was mentioning sending some family to bring him back home a little too often, of late. But....despite everything, Alex still liked it here. He liked the friends he'd made, and he liked how much he was learning, he even liked the training he was getting to become a better fighter....though that might have had more to do with the trainer.
No, stop it! Pretty ghoul! Focus!
"Funnily enough, I looked quite a bit like my mom!" Alex laughed about that, though people often said he took after his mom quite a bit even in his boil form. Annnnd then he came to the sudden realisation that he'd called himself a hot ghoul, then said he looked like his mom.
Well Jack-damnit, that was smoooooth. Maybe she wouldn't notice.
But they were now making there way up a hill, and at the top of it, one could see the lake below, and the Monster dorms to the side. "Here we are." He smiled. "I like to come here sometimes just to get away, it's quite peaceful, really." He shrugged. "Though I've heard there are parties down here sometimes as well, so it's not always so quiet."

Twin sisters? Ha, this got scarier in her mind. Her cousins were twins. Hulking brute, twin boil cousins. On the flip side of being less intelligent and less good looking (had to come from the mother), they had helped Michi move. So it wasn't like they were horrible to her. They just weren't the sort she liked to hang out with.
"Your mom?," Michi snorted slightly. She would hate looking like her mother. But not everyone's mom was like hers. "You should have taken a picture and then told your mom you found it on campus, and wondered what she was doing! Like handstands or wearing something silly in the lake."
Ah the lake. Utterly peaceful, and frankly... dull. But if there were parties happened down here Michi wasn't going to just slide away. Parties were parties after all. Unless they were horrible garden parties that no one had any fun at.
"These parties... I hope they're not garden parties. Garden parties are rather... dull. And those little sandwich things go way too fast for my likings. They should be bigger, people wouldn't eat so many."
People like Michi. She was horrible about eating. Maybe later in life it'd catch up to her, but all the ghoul cared about at these garden parties was more of those stupid things. Food baby. If she couldn't have hot boils and a good time, she wanted good food.

He laughed at that, "Ah, but then if she found out it was just me, I might not be going to this school much longer." He confessed. "She's not been too happy with the things she's seen on the news, thinks I'd be safer at home." He turned away from the dorms, looking down at the smokey red demoness before him. "And then who would all the pretty ghouls go to for a tour of the campus?" he teased.
"C'mon, I'll show you around the school a little bit, give you a general idea of where things are. You sound like a ghoul who can appreciate a good meal! There are some few restaurants not too far of a walking distance for ones who don't mind walking." He wrinkled up his nose a bit in distaste, fully aware such a walk would probably take him half a day or more. "There's a Maul fairly close by with a large foodcourt and more restaurants." His mind wandered a little back to the experiences he'd had there with Yin, but he quickly pushed them aside. "And of course, there is the school cafeteria." He grinned. "We can wander past there, if you want? I promise, no garden party sandwhiches will be served but..uh..watch out for Ginger." Ginger was the large lunch lady that sported a mustache and was really not all that pleasant to be around. Alex had learnt this on his first day wandering the school, and when Siddie had been the one to show him around.

His mother sounded like a bit of a drag, not unlike her own mother. It lifted Michi's spirits to know there were other horrible mothers out there and she was not alone in suffering one. Then again her mother had told her to come here to build character or something like that. Michi didn't think she was going to build character here at all. Just have some serious fun!
"That's a good thing to remember, I'm a ghoul who likes food. And a maul is always perfect!"
Ah, a maul. Shopping, boils, more shopping, food court, and of course more shopping. A beautiful place for a wealthy only demon child. She always had cash to spare, and while it wasn't limitless, Michi certainly never bothered to see how much was left. The smoke demoness was already thinking of the things that would be just perfect for her room. Or her wardrobe. Or something.
"Who or what is Ginger?" She really had no idea what he was talking about. Or who. Ginger could have been a food for all she knew. Michi really wasn't one to easily put two and two together. Was it a booby trap or something? Alexander didn't sound like he liked Ginger at all, whatever it was.

Alex grinned happily. Maybe he'd made another friend that he could drag to the maul with him the next time he needed new clothes? It was really much easier to buy new ones then the clean the ones he had. She seemed pretty enthusiastic about it, too, which was better then when he'd taken Yin, who really hadn't seemed to enjoy himself much.
He grimaced a little when she asked who Ginger was, though. "Ah, well, Ginger is the lunch lady..you'll know it's her when you see her. Big, burly, mustached, and quite gruff. Harmless though, really.....just not the most pleasant ghoul I've ever come across."
Ok, so Michi liked shopping, and she liked eating. These were two things Alex could really appreciate in a ghoul.
He turned away from the lake and started to stumble/trip/slide his way back down the hill the direction they came, nearly losing his balance and falling flat on his face once or twice, but somehow always managing to keep his feet beneath him where they should be. He then made sure she was still with him before continuing on there way.
"So, what do you like to do in your spare time?" he asked, while making there slow way towards the school.

That honestly sounded like a horrible looking ghoul! She liked her ghouls pretty... like herself. Mustaches only belong on boils... and only then very rarely. She was actually a pretty picky ghoul, wasn't she? She wanted them tall, attractive and... well something like that. Maybe she wasn't so picky after all. Being able to piss off her mother by just being there was always a good plus!
"I like to party," Michi threw her head back and laughed," but really I like to have fun. Dancing, partying, going out on dates, playing hexbox... anything fun. If it's fun, I'll be there."
Really Michi was just a ghoul who wanted to have fun. There was no other reason for her life other than to have fun, meet good looking boils and ghouls, and pissing her mother off. She didn't attempt to help Alexander as he stumbled along, and instead just kept pace with her bright blue eyes darting around.
"What about you? What's a tall, cute boil like yourself do for fun around here?"

Alex nearly stumbled again, but this time more out of surprise then from being on uneven ground. He could feel that slow warmth that never quite made it all the way to his face seeping into the back of his neck.
"I...I'm afraid this..cute...boil is probably not the most exciting one you've ever met." He finally managed. "I like to read, a lot. I take as many classes as I can during the day, and I don't like physical activity very much, so I avoid it if at all possible. Or at least, I used to." Jack damned Yin with his stupid training. But Alex needed it, or the hunters were like to kill him. Again.
"But, uh, I also like to play video games, eat, go to the maul to do some shopping sometimes. I like big groups of people as well, so parties are nice." Never mind that he actually hadn't been invited to any parties yet, and that the two times he was with large groups of students were also the two times he'd dissipated.
"Sorry, that's probably not what you wanted to hear, huh?" He grinned down at her, "Maybe you could throw a party yourself sometime? Make it an open house, spread the word. I could come, and I have friends I could drag along."

Reading, didn't want to do too much physical (but that was typical of certain types of undead, right?), played video games, liked the maul. He was shaping up to being an okay boil, if you took the reading out of the equation. Michi did not read books. Never read books, would be the correct term. Her homework was going to be horrible now that she was actually at school.
And then he brought up the idea of a party. He liked them, she liked them, he had friends he could bring along. Now that was something Michi could appreciated! She grinned as wide as she could at the talk of a party.
"Throwing a party is exactly what I need to do. I've just gotta figure out where, and how to spread the word. But if you have friends you could invite, maybe they could invite the people they know too and then it could spread out by word of mouth! Oh, what a great idea Alexander!!'
Now Michi was a forward ghoul. In fact, she could be down right free with a few things. Like kisses. Michi loved to give out kisses, and get them in return. Doubly when it came to tall boils who gave her great ideas to start out life in Amity with. So what did Michi do? She basically hopped up, grabbed him around the neck, and planted a kiss on him before bouncing right back down and back into the conversation.
"Any idea where a good party should be thrown around here?"
