It has been a long time since the Arrancar and hollows have met up in truly great number. The white deserts have changed from being the place in which the fortress of Las Noches is held back to a alien wilderness where nothing may survive if it is not prepared. Not even the hollows themselves which are native to this place.

The eternal night is today to be lit up by a powerful flame. Someone has requested a meeting and through word of mouth almost every hollow has learnt about this meeting. It is certain to be a mad event where hollows die, Menos Grande are formed and the more powerful among them will stand out. This may well be the place where those capable of leading the other hollows are found.

The meeting is to take place on a sand dune that can be identified by a strange green quartz tree (that probably won't be left after the meeting ends) and that will probably have to be identified later by the vast quantities of hollow reiatsu emerging from it. Some hollows have already arrived carrying strange things they have robbed from the living world as well as things they have found in the seemingly limitless white desert and in a few rare cases in the Rukongai and Sereitei areas.

It is sure to be a phase of this eternal night that will not be forgotten by those who attend with any haste.

When Kura left the garganta and the gillian behind her companion of an extremely brief time had decided to leave her without so much as a word. Without the capabilities to either track him or to catch up with him as he had used extremely large sonido she decided that the best course of action would indeed be to simply carry the tree with her (as it was not too long a ways) and place it down in the meeting spot and then attempt to light it. She saw no reason why it should be impossible to light the tree. However having little experience lighting fires was sure to be a thorn in her side. Anyone who had experience lighting them probably knew that lighting an entire tree on fire was somewhat harder than it looked. This did not mean it was impossible however.

When she arrived at the meeting spot, with the tree that had once been there now missing, she placed her wooden tree in the sand where the original had been. It was only now that she realised she had nothing suitable to light a fire with and that somehow none of the hollow currently here were capable of such a feat. Kura opted therefore to wait for other hollow or simply guests who were capable of lighting fires and left the tree in it's place. From somewhere she seemed to pull a small stool that Las Noches arrancar used to sit on. It was not the most comfortable seat ever created but it was definitely more comfy than getting sand in one's clothes.

Kura's weapon and shield both lay next to her. She had no intention of fighting and she was going to make this quite clear. However any experienced opponent would be able to see they lay close enough that she might easily grab them and begin fighting if the need revealed itself.

The Garganta opened up in the sky, dumping those it carried inside it onto the sands of Hueco Mundo with the little Arrancar falling last on top of one of the Shinigami feet-first. ”Thanks!” He made sure to thank whoever was kind enough to unnecessarily cushion his fall. Common courtesy, after all. Now he didn’t have to worry about sand getting into the folds of the stolen kosode he still wore or about the bottle of well-aged wine, according to the vendor at least, he also stole breaking. Taking a quick second for his eyes to adjust to the dark desert of Hueco Mundo, he soon noticed a familiar figure sitting on a stool with a tree.

”Heya Kura-chan-san-senpai-kun-tan!” Satsu shouted rather loudly, his voice echoing thrice, as he waved energetically with both arms to get the other King’s – or was she a Queen? – attention. ”Look at what I found!” He motioned towards the group of Shinigami he had brought with him excitedly. These were his guests though, so he couldn’t be rude and he had to introduce them, after all! But he didn’t know any of their names… Oh no! Satsu pouted and pondered for a brief second before he came up with another ingenuous plan!

”Okay! Everyone! This is Kura-chan-san-senpai-kun-tan but you can call her Kura-chama-dono-tama-senpai-sensei-chan-kun-onee-san for short! Kura-chan-san-senpai-kun-tan, these are…. Uhmm… Silver-san, Esh-Pads-Ah-san, Herr Doktor-chan, Carrot-chan, Hairband-chan, and Maka-san!” Satsu rattled off the new names of Haru, Kodate, Danny, Elzee, Natsuki, and Angel in a moment of sheer brilliance and quick succession, doing a pirouette at the end of the introductions. Each nickname was, of course, based off of something Satsu noticed or remembered about them. He might have left out a few people though, oh well. He'd name them later when he remembered.

Seeing a group of shinigami quite literally pouring from the sky unharmed (mostly) was a fairly good indicator of the person who was about to enter in on the scene. They were not someone who would conduct themselves in an ordinary fashion so it was quite likely to be one of the more childlike arrancar or one with a good sense of humour. Either way they were certain to be someone Kura was not particularly good friends with. She might know them in passing though. When she was it was Satsu however she was not particularly surprised. She had not known him for very long and had known him for around ten years at an estimate. Time really had no meaning in a place like Hueco Mundo so it wasn't one of those things one would really consider. In fact Kura would be more likely to say she had known Satsu for a period of time. Maybe it was because of how rarely she ventured out from her home that she wasn't quite aware of the passing of time.

She decided she would humour Satsu somewhat and actually speak. He would like that better than her not speaking and she had no intention to make powerful enemies too early.
"Hello, Satsu." She said with a voice that was honestly a bit too soft to be her own but was undeniably so. "Are these snacks you brought or are they guests tonight?" She responded to his excited proclamation of his catch without the same excited tone nor any fake tone to imply she was. It didn't seem like it would be beneficial to put on a voice that would sound fake. Talking was not really her strong point unless it was to do with matters of fact and she knew Satsu would see right through it.

Kura nodded to each name as the shinigami were introduced. Now that they had names they were unlikely to end up being eaten. Maybe they'd be made to fight eachother to the death for the entertainment of the hollows or even to throw themselves into the flames just because they could do so. However Kura had a different plan. Somehow she would like to talk to them for a short time after they lit the flames. They were not impossible to tempt. There were probably things they wanted that Kura was now in a position to offer. The only problem was somehow getting them off Satsu for a while without resorting to violence.

"Motherf-" Kodate was cut off as he flew through the air and hit the ground. He had absolutely no idea what had happened between standing on the ground and suddenly being thrown through a torrent of chaotic energy before landing. He had no idea what the hell had happened, all he knew was that he was laying face-first in...sand. He noticed almost immediately before someone landed on top of him. He let out a pained grunt, barely making out what was being said over the throbbing in his ears from the impact. It was the hollow child thanking him for breaking his fall. If he was stronger, he would wring the life out of it's little frame and spike it's head onto a pike. Not because it was particularly evil, it was just annoying.

He groaned once more as he pushed himself up. He was too sore for this. He pulled himself to one knee, and laid there with his shield out in front of him. It wasn't necessarily defensive, it was just comfortable. He was glad that his zanpaku-to fit so nicely against his arm so that it wouldn't fall off. As he listened to the descriptions of each of the shinigami assembled by the child, he wondered why he was named that. Because he said Espada once? That didn't seem like a good reason for a nickname. I guess he couldn't expect brilliance from all arrancar.

He sat there, and looked over at his fellow shinigami for a time before turning his attention to the female that was sitting a short ways away and had spoken up. Kodate did not say anything, he just kept his shield in front of him as he listened. Not like he was in much position to compromise or order release or even negotiate. Hell, the only position he, and his fellow shinigami, were in was to accept what had happened with a grain of salt and hope they weren't on the menu or ordered to die. Neither sounded like a horribly wonderful option.

God damn. I'm not more than a few days out of the Academy and I'm probably going to die. Isn't this great? Everything comes full circle, I suppose...

Accapello was nervous about coming around other Arrancar; considering for the last 'x' amount of time since Los Noches fell. She was so used to rubble and squalor for so long; and being chased for so long; that she was a nervous wreck half the time. Since Torrik had found her, her outfit had been replaced with a new, clean and just like her old dress. Except now she had an obi made of her 'big brothers's scarf now. Her tangled hair was now long and smooth. Her eyes were shiny.

She had sensed the gathering quickly and her interest was perked, though usually she'd hide. She hadn't been told of the said meeting, as she'd run away as soon as any strange Arrancar approached. She wasn't nearly as afraid, cause now she had Torrik standing beside her and that meant no one was going to eat her. She had run back to Torrik as soon as she crested a hill and was able to see the commotion.

"Torrik... there's a big green tree over there... and there are Arrancar staring at it." She said quietly, pointing her hand towards the collection of strangers. She grabbed his pant leg and gave it a few tugs in that direction as she hastily began to head that way; her curiosity peaking.

More than willing to take his sweet time, Torrik had traveled across the sands of Hueco Mundo at a walking pace. With Accapello accompanying him, he didn’t feel that using sonido and rushing would be the best idea. He knew that the girl needed some time to recover herself. This was also the perfect opportunity to regain his posture as well. Still a bit shaken at the idea of returning to such a world, Torrik was on his toes and was alerted to the smallest of sounds. Unable to accept that Aizen was gone, he was still somewhat paranoid that the man would just appear out of thin air and give them hell. That or other members of that stupid army remained and were thirsty for revenge.

Letting out an irritated sigh, Torrik watched the girl race ahead of him a bit. He wasn’t at all surprised when she ran back to him, startled and apprehensive. There was some hope of being able to tell her what was going on but he couldn’t find the right way to do it. Perhaps it was better that she saw, just to get it over with.

When she mentioned the tree, Torrik was reassured that they had found the right place. He was somewhat glad, yet his thoughts then dwelled in having to explain his hasty retreat without as much as a “thanks” to the other courteous arrancar who had let him in. He still found such a nature to be somewhat odd. Then again, it was also interesting. That didn't mean he was going to trust her just yet. Something about the riatsu in the area didn't register as expected.

Accapello’s curiosity now matched his own but in a different way. He could sense other beings that were not of their kind. This concerned him a bit. Perhaps this was a trap all along. Unfortunately, before he had a chance to change his mind, the child was pulling him along and he knew that there was no stopping her. Chances were they had already been spotted. Too late to turn back now…

When the world is yours....

Angel looked down with surprise as he suddenly found himself not on solid ground, but on thin air. A Gargantua. He had seen them before, but he had never been through one. Until now. Angel grunted as he put some reiatsu in to his feet and before he touched the ground he made it explode out to act like a gust of wind. Sand blew away from his feet as he landed with a soft thud and looked around. He didnt like this. They weren't in the Soul Society anymore.

He arched his brow when the little boy introduced all of them to a woman that seemed to be waiting for them. Was he supposed to be Silver-san? This made him look at the boy with a questioning look, but he shook it off. He had to figure out a way out of here. His head was turning back and forth taking in his surroundings. What caught his attention next was that more people seemed to come to their little get together spot. This made him sigh in annoyance, "Can this day get any worse?"

Danny shouted in alarm as the garganta yawned widely beneath her feet. And then she was falling, as though the very earth was swallowing her whole. The shock of it set her heart to hammering so hard she was half convinced it would beat right out of her chest as she fell down, down, down--

Just as she began to wonder if the darkness through which she was tumbling was endless, a new and unfamiliar landscape rushed up to meet her. She was deposited unceremoniously on the flat of her back back, and the air was knocked from her lungs in a rush. Instantly, she rolled over, coughing as she pushed herself up on her hands and knees. When she'd finally caught her breath, she rose stiffly. Present company made her refrain from putting a hand to her bruised behind.

Indeed, she and the rest of the team originally dispatched to deal with the hollow at the pond had all been transported to-- to... To wherever this place was. Danny looked about and found nothing familiar. The ground on which she stood was fine, pale sand that extended as far as she could see in every direction. The barren landscape was dotted here and there with a few stunted trees, but none seemed to compare to the strange green tree that dominated the sand dune on which she and her companions stood. It shone in the pale light of the black sky with an unearthly sheen and seemed to emanate an energy that made her vaguely ill.

She left off her assessment of their surroundings at the sound of a child's voice. It was the arrancar they'd all met at the pond. He was performing introductions, apparently making up nicknames for them all on the fly. She decided she must be Herr Doktor-chan, which, under different circumstances -- and from a different source-- might have made her laugh. As it was, it was difficult for her to wrap her head around the idea that a kid like this was such a powerful hollow. But the evidence was right there-- he'd managed to infiltrate the Seireitei and make off with several shinigami without breaking a sweat. His spiritual pressure now seemed to be a bit more under control, but that the memory of the powerful energy he'd displayed earlier left no doubt in her mind that he was not somebody to be trifled with.

She supposed the woman the boy had addressed was another arrancar. Kura, he called her. And she called him Satsu in return. Not that that helped much. More figures approached from all directions-- more hollows and arrancar, she guessed. Their spiritual pressures indicated as much. Many of the hollows present were truly monstrous, but it was the human-shaped figures that made her nervous.

Reaffirming her grip on her tanto dagger-- she'd held on to it during her fall and was lucky she hadn't impaled herself on it-- Danny drew closer to the rest of the shinigami, positioning herself beside the tall one with the shield. If it came to a fight, she figured they'd all better watch each other's backs.

Natsuki quickly thinking, as the garganta began forming beneath them, drew her simple katana and slashed a crude 'H' into the untouched ground nearby as she dropped from the solid earth into the gaping maw of the garganta. It was hasty and may not be deciphered easily but at least it was some kind of sign. Though travel seemed instantaneous on either end of this technique it was apparent it was similar to how the shinigami traversed to the human world. A long period of time seemed to pass in between allowing her to re-sheathed her blade. she only assumed that the exit would of course be in the sky and prepared for a rough landing one there.

Sure enough a pale glow emanated beneath her and soon she was enveloped in the rapidly approaching scene bellow. Her eyes were greeted with a harsh and barren land scape as she appeared several feet above the ground in this place. Tucking her body she fell to the ground in a roll. eventually she stopped and found herself covered in a fine dust of which she was certain wasn't really sand. As she got to her feet the other shinigami around her seemed to have landed safely. While standing there the child arrancar addressed them with unique 'titles' based on appearance and minor details he had gathered about each of them in his short time meeting them. It was obvious this group could do nothing against the now two arrancar who stood before them. though the power was controlled it was certainly bounds beyond what these shinigami could hope to muster together.

She suddenly hoped the latter would be true in regards to food or guests because this might be a valuable intel gathering expo for them if they could survive this meeting. For now she remained silent as she watched in dismay as the other arrancar made an entrance to this obscure treed area. The green tree here certainly stood out above the rest of the area being the only real color in the land scape to speak of. without a doubt this was the hollow home world of hueco mundo.

Asuma Haruka

PostPosted: Tue Jan 31, 2012 3:18 pm

Of course, it got worse. After a childlike Arrancar had decided to not only appear before them and scare the living hell out of everyone in sight, it then decided to then open a black hole that swallowed all of them in into some space where nothing could be seen. After a few seconds, Haru found himself falling through the sky onto a sand dune, landing on his feet but then falling backwards, doing a few rolls in the process of trying to get his footing. Of course, that was next to impossible seeing as it was sand he was sliding on. And so, coming to a stop in a somewhat laying down position, Haru moved his elbows into the sand and pushed himself up....and to find that he was surrounded along with his companions by numerous other high level hollows. Great. First, they fight a hollow that they almost couldn't kill, and then they get kidnapped by a random arrancar that decided to dress like a shinigami. This day could not get much worse. Well, yes, it could. But then, that would involve them dying.

Obviously from the signature of the other woman nearby them, she was another higher class hollow, most likely an arrancar, and there were even more that were coming there, two from the reiatsu he felt. From the looks of things, however, it didn't look as if the hollows were going to eat them, since, after all they weren't trying to eat them currently. While that didn't mean that they wouldn't still, but for the moment, Haru made sure his blades were still in his left sleeve, feeling the cold metal even through the bandages on his skin. If worse came to worse, he would still protect himself and the others, even if the attempt was in vain. He would try to take as many down with him as he could. At least, that's what he wanted to do if anything happened. Hopefully, nothing did.

Yasumeh had been lying in his office when the call came, a panicked messenger instead of a normal butterfly insisted urgency, his face contorted in a measure of fear with sweat pouring down his face as he told the captain that several recruits and a few other higher ranked Shinigami had vanished and that do to recent reports of the rieatsu measured at the scene they believed a Gargantua had been opened. He asked how they had found such out as he gathered his things, apparently a series of hell butterflies had been sent out with a quick message from one of the few that had disappeared. With more speed than he was known for moving he made his way through the streets of the Seireitei and towards the twelfth, the only division he knew that had been able to successfully breach a hole into the hellish world known as Heuco Mundo. The discussion had not gone over well, such a opening had been forbidden unless commanded by the Captain Commander and no such order had been given yet. He none the less managed to pull rank and with some threatening posturing managed to achieve what he wished, his eyes gazing upon the large black hole that stood before him.

Even he thinking in a more rational sense would advice against chasing after recruits, the chance for loss on a rescue could wind up being far more detrimental should they send several captain in after and as such he decided to take it alone until the others could gather and organize a better search party. Not to confront whatever was responsible with violence, though he was uncertain if it would come to that, but to get a visual and start letting his brain go to work. Every sense of his mind was telling him not to go, and yet with his throat drier than normal and soberness creeping upon him his more compassionate sides voice pushed him through the gateway.

Now he stood in a vast desert, a perpetual night hanging overhead and a cold chill biting at his flesh. Taking his captains Coat he turned it inside out, the less recognizable he was from a distance the better. It certainly wouldn't fool the more savy of detective foes but whatever little trouble he could shirk off and avoid the better. Trudging forwards his sandals kicked up dirt and his large straw hat acted like a shield to his eyes that he kept locked low enough to see the horizon and sense the strands of reiatsu leading to the lost shinigami. His left hand clutched a lucky chess piece tightly... he only hoped he would make it in time whilst repeating a phrase in his head "No reiatsu... no draw... just think a step ahead".

A gathering of this size was really hard to miss even for those weak at sensing energy. Asla had her curiosity peaked from the massive energy signature on the horizon and opted to get to seeking it out. After all there were a lot of hollow there, maybe one was strong enough to entertain her in a fight for a bit, of course if they had some fancy annoying ability like the last guy she fought she'd be upset she hated those kinds of things. Already fired up she began the trek to the gathering area. Finally reaching a near run she soon found herself stuck behind a mob of hollow. Low class at that. she wanted to see what the green tree was for the was in the midst of this gathering.

"Gah weaklings get the hell outta my way!" Asla growled in frustration as she proceed to grab and fling the hollow who were dumb enough to stay in her path. from the center the airborne hollow would certainly be a sight as they floated skyward rather lazily almost confused as to why they were airborne.
after a series of aerial hollow she was soon at the center. looking on at the sight before her she gathered a somewhat confused look upon her face. "What's with the shinigami... and the pipsqueek? I didn't know hollows came that small..." She commented gruffly taking note of the most forefront things in her train of thought. there were other arrancar here as well but the little boy definitely stood out to her since he seemed to be the annoying energy ridden type that would definitely get on her nerves.
