Sojiro entered the training grounds, expecting to see the squad members slacking off. He was surprised to see the squad training harder than they used to, making him smile lightly.

Sojiro allowed a few hours to pass while the other squad members trained, pointing out how to improve a strategy or defend an opening they hadnt noticed every now and then. he pulled Tsunadora from her sheath and placed it in fromt of him once the squad had left and it was dark out."Bankai.... Tear Through The Blizzard: Okami No Tsunadora."he said, his blade splitting into two swords and a large blast of cold wind blew.

Sojiro lifted his right zanpaku'to, a large current of snow following the motion."Tōketsu Shita Arechi o Uchikudakumashou"he said, swinging the blade downward and the snow current enveloped a training dummy in a sphere. Swinging his swords from his sides so the blades would cross each other, the snow began to close down on the dummy and tear it apart, though the sphere vanished before the full intention of the technique could be carried out."it's still not ready... I've gotta perfect this ability, that way I can protect everyone better..."he muttered to himself,clearly disappointed.

Sojiro sighed,allowing Tsunadora to revert back to her sealed form and returning her to her sheathe. "I guess I'll just have to try again tomorrow night... At least nobody can get hurt by it when I train alone..."he said. He was tired from the large amount of spirit energy the technique required and decided to walk around the Seireitei for a while.

Vento decided to bring some training dummies and set them up in various places. He figured Sojiro would be here by the time he finished setting up.

Marty_2013 Vento decided to bring some training dummies and set them up in various places. He figured Sojiro would be here by the time he finished setting up. Sojiro landed in the training grounds shortly after Vento. He had stopped at a shop to buy some water in case he or the captain got tired. "sorry for taking so long Captain Vento."he said, placing the water on the ground gently. "Tsunadora advised me to get us some water in case our training tired us"

Sojiro continued to perform his Töketsu Shita Arechi o Uchikudakumashou. the snow enveloped one of the dummies and instantly went out of control, exploding and sending large shards of ice flying out in all directions and leaving behind a small crater where the dummy had been.

Vento quickly hid behind a tree as the shards started flying it was clear that Sojiro needed a lot of work, but he had potential. "Impressive my friend, although I think you over did it just a tad bit. I think the problem is you use too much power and it causes you to go out of control. How about you try that attack again on the dummy over there this time I want the head to be seen, but cover the rest of the body."

Sojiro smiled, not allowing himself to show how much energy he had used already. "alright, i can try that"he said, performing the Töketsu Arechi o Uchikudakumashou again. the snow enveloped the dummys entire body except for the head, slowly closing down on it before it exploded with much less force than last time.

Vento was excited not only for his lieutenant, but for himself considering that he didn't really think that would work on the first time. "Excellent! You see its not always the power you possess, but how and when you use it. In a battle you must use your energy carefully, which is why I am hesitate to use my Shikai and Bankai. Even if the opponent gets stronger they can also get tired as well, which makes the fight much easier for me."

Sojiro smiled, happy that it didnt explode with as much force."Even so, I need to perfect it so I dont accidentally hurt somebody other than my target."he said, though it was clear he was excited as well."I'm gonna try to feed it small amounts of spirit energy to try to stabilize it a little more"he said, wondering if Vento would approve or have a better idea of how to go about it.

Sojiro performed the attack again, enveloping the dummy with the exception of the head. the snow swirled faster as it was fed small amounts of spirit energy, collapsing in on the dummy and tearing it apart."it... worked... it actually worked!"Sojiro said happily, falling on his back as he tried to catch his breath.
