CROWS N s**t

The main flockery stands next to the grand cathedral of Obscuvos and is architecturally similar: a single tower constructed in a decadent gothic style, it rises to over three-hundred foot tall. Entrance to humans and Plagues can be obtained through large vaulted doors at the base. Upon entering you find a chapel and an altar where one can leave donations to help with the upkeep of the flockery; donations vary from monetary gifts, to titbits of food, to full blown meals prepared for the corvid residents of the tower. To get to the actual flockery hall you must ascend the winding staircase to a hall around half way up the tower. Thin vertical stained glass windows are placed systematically along the staircase, each with a crow motif and autumnal colour scheme; tinting the light within the building reddish orange. The air feels warm and slightly musty - like an old antique shop... Eventually you reach the main hall. Again there are stained glass windows here, although they are only four - one on each point of the compass - and they are massive, extending from floor level all the way up to the top of the tower. The crow motif is continued, but Obscuvos himself also features in the north facing window - flocks of birds spilling forth from his generous hands. Looking upwards you have an unobstructed view to the top of the building and a circle of sunlight that marks the entrance holes that the crows use to get in and out of the flockery. Covering the vertical walls are thousands of nesting boxes in which thousands of crows - both normal and those made into stunted - reside. At intervals there are impossibly tall ladders that the plagues who work at the flockery use to inspect the boxes. Despite the fact that there are so many birds in residence it is surprisingly quiet. There's no cawing or squawking, just the hushed rustling of many feathers. It also seems impossibly clean with not a spot of guano to be found. Only the occasional feather drifting downwards through the warm sluggish air fouls the room, and even they are swiftly tidied up. On entering you will have no doubt have attracted the attention of the leader of the flockery: Cornell. A rather pompous character he is the plague that the whole flockery relies upon. "Welcome... I presume you are here to see me..? Everyone comes to see me at some point or another," he drawls as he advances towards you - an ornate gun hanging loosely from his clawed fingers.

The purpose of the flockery is to allow easy communication between members of The House. Cornell can create stunteds at will from tainted crows and after heavy investment from higher up in The House and the construction of various flockeries, housing thousands of crows, he has had an amply supply of plagued birds to convert. Thus every notable member of the religion (every Grimm automatically qualifies) is able to request a stunted for their personal use. The stunted he creates can be any alignment or gender but they all share common abilities: flight, weak teleportation and telepathy between each other (and Cornell). The owner of the stunted can use them to send messages to other cultists. Even if it isn't physically possible for the stunted to carry the message all the way, the message can be relayed from flockery to flockery until reaching it's destination. It's faster and more reliable than any existing postal system within Panymium and completely free and exclusive to Obscuvians.

OOC note: although the above describes the main flockery - there are many flockeries all over Panymium: there is almost guarenteed to be at least one in every cultist hub. Thus, if you can't ICly get to Blackmere where the main flockery stands do not fret, Cornell can teleport and will be able to create a crow stunted for you wherever you are located.

• Workers in the flockery are always bird related anhelos.
