Angenora was brushing one of her many drinkit felines before wanting to fix her hair. She always fussed when it came to her long hair, but didn't mind it. She was thinking of possibly dying it a different color, but then it grew on her before she knew it. She rose to her feet as she put her hair up into a pony tail that was tied off by a red ribbon. "Wonder if I'll get any visitors today?" She asked as she looked over at her bat clock then back to her beloved minipets. "Wouldn't you guys love some company?" She said cutely to the felines.

Alex had just left his dorm room, closing and locking the door behind him before he began his slow, steady shamble down the undead dorm halls. He had a book tucked beneath one arm and his hands buried deep in his pockets as he slouched along. He had only made it a few steps before stopping, and cocking his head to the side, he turned, remembering that he could have taken his skateboard out to get some more practice on it...
But then he would have to walk all the way back to his room! He glanced back at those long, loooooong 15 feet, and decided better of it, and just continued onward.
He couldn't have said how far he'd gone, or even exactly where he was, when something caught his eye. There was a light on, and a door slightly ajar, and a ghoul's voice emitting from a bedroom to one side.
Funny, he didn't remember anybody having a room here. Maybe it was a new student? He shuffled towards the slightly opened door, just in time to hear the ghoul say 'I wonder if I'll get any visitors today.'
Now Alex was not the type to just go knocking on complete strangers doors, so he was just deciding to keep moving along when he heard the voice again. 'Wouldn't you guys love some company?'
You guys..as in..plural? Was it a..party of some kind? He raised an eyebrow, his curiosity now getting the better of him as he made his way back over to the door. Raising a fist, he began to rap on it lightly.

Genora was using a laser pointer to entertain herself and the drinkits before she even noticed that he door was slightly ajar. "Oh jack... Should make sure my door stays shut before any of you little cuties tries to run away." She said as she gave them each an ear scratch, but the black and white drinkit, Choco, hoped onto her shoulder with a loud purr. She smiled then jumped lightly at the sound of a light rap on the door, making it open up more. "Coming!" She said as she sashayed to the door with a light giggle as Choco pawed at her pony tail. She opened the door to find a rather cute little zombie boil at her door. "Well hello there! did you want to come inside?" She asked as she opened up the door, showing off her bedroom. The room was a jet black with deep purple and blood red spots everywhere. The floor was wood and the bed matched the spots. Wine, Wassail, and Nog stared at the newcomer as their wings twitched lightly. Choco mewed lightly at the boil then looked back to Genora. "I'm actually new to the school. Angenora Jewels would be my name. These are my lovelies Choco, Wine, Wassail, and Nog." She introduced herself and her minis as well.

Alex still really couldn't quite believe that he'd knocked on a complete strangers bedroom door. He was just debating turning to flee (ahahahhaa, riiiight) when he heard her mention some cuties that might try to run away. W--why would they try to run away? Oh Jack, had he stumbled upon some mad scientist's bedroom that was chopping up zombies into little pieces to sell to the pawn shop in the Maul?
He began to worry quite a bit, until the door opened wide suddenly to show nothing more then a nice, young zombghoul on the other side, with a few of her pets slinking around.
Ohhhhhhhhh...well, that made sense. And was also somewhat embarrassing since he'd apparently gotten completely the wrong impression.
"I'm Alex! Er...Alexander, I mean. But you can call me Alex, or even Xander." He didn't offer his last name, since everyone seemed to think it sounded so classy and formal and it really didn't suit him at all.
He peered around her room, debating whether he should enter or just go about his way. It would have been rude not to at least stop and have a small chat though, he supposed, especially after being somewhat invited, so the six foot one zombie stepped through the doorway.
"New, huh? You seem to be all settled in!" He admired the cleanliness of her room compared to his own, and eyed the little creatures scattered about. "They're uh...cute?" he supplied, rather more of a fan of eating such creatures then keeping them for pets. But to each their own, he supposed.

"Alexander? I think I'll go with Alex cause it suits you better than Xander!" Genora said as she gave a little curtsy with the ends of her dress. She giggled at saying that was already settled in, " it didn't take long cause I really didn't have much with me to bring. Besides these little guys are a handful as it is." She joked as she put Choco back onto the ground from her shoulder. The black and white feline pawed at Nog with a low growl. "They fight sometimes, but it's alright. I'm gonna guess you've been here for a while? Well, longer than I have." She said as she sat onto the bed even though she looked almost a foot shorter than the zomboil. "I don't understand why there isn't a theater for drama. It would be nice if there was... I enjoy the stage, the lights, the feeling like you're someone else, and that no one can tell you that you can't do anything." Genora said as she thought about some plays with a light toothy smile then let out a sigh. She shook off the feeling with a smile, "What kind of things do you like to do, Alex?" Asking sweetly as Wassail laid down onto her lap, purring.

He nodded as he stepped further into the room, his hands finding their way into his black pants pockets. Alex would be just fine, and it was what most people called him anyways.
"I've been here for a few months now...3 or more." Had it really been that long already? The time had just flown by since arriving at the school. "So I'm really still quite new myself." He looked around for a place to sit, but then opted to lean against a wall instead, not really planning on staying all that long, since he had a book he needed to return.
"Oh, there is a theater! It got rebuilt not that long ago, and we just recently had a school play. The Cracker of the Nuts, it was called. Uh..but then the Christmas Invasion hit, which I'm sure you've heard about on the news...so I'm not quite sure what the condition of the theater is anymore." He decided to leave out the part about him actually being in the play himself. It was a rather minor roll, and he hadn't really enjoyed the experience all that much.
"Well, I..I like to read, mostly. I attend classes everyday, and occasionally I do some battle training with a close friend of mine. And, well, I like to shop..for ties. I have a collection of sorts." Collection? More like an obsession. "What about you? Anything you like to do besides drama?"

Genora's eyes light up when she heard about there being a theater. "The Cracker of the Nuts, sounds like it was a wonderful play! Too bad that it was interrupted by that invasion." She said as she swooned over the idea of being on stage in front of all kinds of students. She blinked at his question about what else she liked, since her mind was somewhere else. "Well I'm into plant life, astronomy, baking, sports, and of course gossiping. Ties, they are pretty neat! I wouldn't mind wearing one cause they are quite comfortable." She said with a light giggle. Who was to say that a ghoul couldn't wear a tie or pants. "What kind of classes are you taking? Maybe I could tag along with you to find out where they are one day?" Her tone had gone into something shy as she looked down at her lap with a light blush. She thought that this rather tall boil was pretty darn cute after all.

"It was! Well, the main actors did a really good job, anyways. It was too bad it all got ruined at the end. They all put a lot of hard work into it." Unlike Alex who had basically just shown up, gone on stage, and got attacked by gnomes. Really not the most enjoyable experience ever for the zomboil.
He had to smile at her tie comment "I'm a firm believer that anybody could look good in a tie, no matter the situation," he held up his own, a silky black one with red skulls decorating it, before letting it flop back into place. Yes, he was rather fond of ties.
"Oh you know, the usual classes. Human Studies, Mad Science, First Aide, Minipet training...anything I can get myself into, really. After all that I just hang out in the library, until they kick me out for the night." unless of course he hid in some dark corner and continued to read all night like he'd managed to do in the past.
"You know, you could get a class list from the office, and there are always plenty of students willing to show you the right way to go." That's what he'd had to do, anyways. "But..uh..sure, I could show you around I guess." He shrugged. Why not? Not like ever had any big important plans or anything.

Genora smiled as she kicked her feet since they really didn't touch the ground when she sat on the edge of the bed. After all this ghoul was only about five feet and two inches. Kinda short if you look at her close up, but from afar she seems like she would be a bit taller. "That's wonderful to hear!" She said with a light giggle as one of her minis began to paw at her hair. "I think the one you have on looks great. Goes good with that hairstyle of yours, wild yet stylish!" She said with a light laugh while she covered her mouth as if she had brains in her teeth. "I think a simple black tie could work for me, but I'm not sure if it would go with this outfit. It's hard to always have clothes that mix and match once in a blue moon." She said with a sigh as she rested her head on the palms of her hands as she elbows rested on her knees. Her head picked up when she heard the words 'mad science'. "That's quite sweet of you, Alex." She said with a light smile, but thought about if she'd ask him to be her friend. She shook the thought with a frown. ~He'd probably say something, but it couldn't hurt to ask... No, Jewels, you don't want to be shot down.~ She thought to herself then gave a light sigh. "So, Alex. How many ties do you have in your collection?" She said as she tried to make conversation. ~You idiot! What kind of a question is that to ask him! I mean he is cute and all, but not something so stupid as that.~ Genora thought to herself as she did a mental facepalm. She really needed to stop thinking about how cute the boil is and try to be a friend.

His hair was wild yet stylish? He smiled bemusedly. He never styled his hair, always just letting it fall however it felt, which always seemed to be in some sort of crazy disarray that for some reason looked like he spent hours putting each piece in place. He didn't really understand it, but he supposed it worked out for the best since he was really too lazy to give a Jack what his hair looked like from day to day.
"Well, black is pretty nice in that it can go with anything, right?" Wow, they were still talking about ties. He couldn't decide if this was the best conversation ever or the strangest. Normally nobody wanted to hear him talk about ties, since, lets face it, they were just a thin strip of colored cloth that were not very exciting. He wondered if she was just doing it because she thought that's what he wanted to talk about, or if she was genuinely interested.
"Oh it's no problem, I'm pretty much free most of the time that I'm not in classes. Was just on my way to the library if you wanted to tag along?" He hadn't really planned on any company, but she was new and really, why not?
Suddenly the conversation swung back in the direction of ties, and he was thrown off a little, thinking that the topic might have died. "I er..I have.." That was a good question. How many ties did he have? He had a smaller collection that he'd brought to school with him, plus the ones he'd bought since arriving, as well as his giant collection back at home. "Well, over 50 at least." He grinned, but that was a huuuuuge understatement on his part. He had well over 200, creeping up on 300.
He may have had a bit of a problem.

"Fifty ties? That's quite something! I wouldn't know where to put them all." Genora joked as she giggled lightly to herself. She couldn't keep her eyes off this boil, but when he commented on how black goes with everything. "That's true, maybe I could try wearing a tie with my dress to see how it looks in all." She said as she put a finger to her chin as she looked towards the ceiling.
"The library? That'd be wonderful! I'll be able to catch up on some late reading." Genora said as she rose to her feet, knocking off one of the drinkits from her lap. Her eyes looked like they could sparkle from the sheer excitement of going to the library. She blinked then rubbed a hand behind her head with a nervous smile. "Sorry if it seems like I'm a minipet just following you around." She said with a light giggle then sighed. "I hope to meet more students like you, Alex."

"Well, I keep mine on a tie rack." He laughed, though fitting all fifty on there had been a bit of a challenge. If he bought anymore he was going to have to start hanging them in the closet instead. Which was fine, really, as he only had four shirts hanging in there and the rest of it was completely empty.
"Ok, sure, come with me then!" He grinned, turning around to make his way back to the door and back out into the hallway, waiting for the zombghoul to follow before continuing on.
"It's really no problem." He replied "I was new here once too, and needed help finding my way around. It's the least I can do." He reached up and pushed his hair back out of his eyes as he talked.
"There are a lot of great students in this school. I'm sure you'll make a lot of friends easily."

"A tie rack? That's actually a pretty smart idea!" She said with a smile as she tried to imagine all the ties on it. She knew that she would have a hard time trying to put them all on there. Jack, she'd put then in her closet or around her dresser. "R-right now?" she said a bit nervously as she rose to her feet. Her minis looked at her as she was getting up. "Thanks, Alex. You're the first to talk to me so far, but it helps. I mean you have no idea!" Angenora said as she felt confident in following this boil to the library. She did enjoy how much she was learning about him. "The more the scarier is what I usually tell myself." She said with a light laugh as she followed him out the door. The black and white drinkit feline hopped onto her shoulder as she waited for the undead boil to show her the way. "Well making friends shouldn't be all that hard, right?" She asked him as she put her hands behind her back to keep her from grabbing one of his.
