If a child was produced from a pure and a turned vampire the child was disowned and most likely killed. Kara grew up in a large mansion with her parents and a few of her older and younger siblings. When she was old enough her parents taught her the proper way of finding her prey and she became an excellent hunter. She soon became too obsessed with teasing and playing with her prey first and was told by her parents that she would get in trouble by doing so. She never thought that day would come, but it did when one night she saw a man walking alone and decided to toy with him a bit. As fate would have it the man was a skilled vampire hunter and he injured the girl severely and to the brink of death. He was going to finish her off when he noticed the crest on her necklace.
