(((OOC: This is set BEFORE Banzai had foals))) With the sun high up in the sky and the breeze ruffling his fur, Banzai found himself wandering yet again. The stallion wasn't sure why he found himself out and about so much. Why hadn't he settled down yet? Hadn't had foals? No matter, that just wasn't him. He couldn't see himself with just one mare. As for foals, who needed them? Yes they were cute, but for a bachelor like himself, well, they would only keep him down. The wandering life was certainly for him. After all, wasn't that why he had left his family? To see the world? To explore and discover new heights? Or was it just the heat? Perhaps that was it. Sure he liked the sun, but the desert was just too much for him. Even if it was what he had been used to, he had never been particularly fond of extreme temperatures.
Speaking of which, the stallion found that the sun was a bit hotter today than it normally was. Perhaps he ought to look for some shade and a little spring. Or a stream, river, even a lake would be welcome. Perhaps he could go for a bit of a swim? Unaware of his surrounding for the past hour, the stallion took a moment to survey the land. He could see a few lone trees, and several patches of them grouped together. Those would certainly keep him cool, but they weren't likely to quench his thirst. Looking around further, the stallion spotted a decent size pond with a little stream flowing to it not too far off. There! He would easily be able to cool off there. Destination in mind, the stallion began to make his way towards the body of water.

Ah, what a wonderful life it is for a beautiful bachelorette. No worries what so ever. No mate to come home to, who really needed one? It would be boring seeing the same face over and over again as far as a little 'fun' is concerned. Then there are no foals to take care of... well, anymore. All the ones she had were grown and long gone and have been out of her memory for quite some time. Life is so much better without those things dragging her behind, she can go wherever she wanted.
Sasukura soared through the air effortlessly, watching as the birds seemed to be surprised to see a horse up with them. A happy nicker escaped from her as she enjoyed the breeze blowing through her braided mane and tail and over her fur. She had actually forgotten how long she has been traveling for and was getting tired, so she looked for somewhere to land. Not too far from her, a spot of blue caught her attention. It seems she found a lake, a perfect spot to take a break. With that, she tucked her wings slightly and made her descent to the ground.

It wasn't very long before the stallion made his way to the pond. Already the air was slightly cooler here and a few trees provided excellent shade. Moving along the pond, Banzai stopped at the mouth of the stream where the water was a little cooler than it was further down. Coking his ear first one way, and then another, the stallion slowly bent his head and took a few gulps from the stream. The cool water flooded into his mouth and immediately the stallion began to feel refreshed. Satisfied and with his thirst quenched, Banzai lifted his head to survey his surroundings.
Not far off he could hear the birds singing in the trees and a few creatures rustling through the brush. Looking up to the sky the stallion could see what appeared to be some sort of large bird. Yet it seemed to be growing larger and larger by the moment. It took a few moments for Banzai to register that that the bird that he thought he had seen, was not actually a bird. Instead, it appeared to be a soquili and a mare at that. "Well now." He thought to himself. Perhaps his day might just be a little more interesting than he had thought.

Getting closer to the ground, her bright blue eyes caught sight of something near the stream. It was brown in color, so her first thought was of a rock. But, getting closer, as things became more clearer to see, it wasn't what she originally thought. First of all, the faint appearance of spots, much like her own was a give away, followed by the fact that this 'rock' seemed to be growing hair.
Descending even closer to the ground, it soon became apparent that what caught her eye was a soquili, and -oh- a stallion at that. She admired the horse some distance before her as her hooves finally touched down onto the ground.
