Hey there everyone! Golden_Hyperbole here.

I would just like to know if you had any thoughts or suggestions as to what you'd like to see here in the guild. Whether it be tutorials, role plays, etc., we'd still like to hear your input!

Suggestion: A tutorial on breathing life into your posts would be a nice addition. Action, sadness, anger, suspense, fright, those sorts of things. They can be accomplished easily with the correct writing techniques and character puppetry. Writing the dialogue between a vampire and her victim is one thing, but making the reader/other player feel as though they're actually in danger/actually a timeless, blood-drinking monster is a horse of an entirely different color. So, all in all, a tutorial on breathing life into your posts by evoking feelings in your reader/the other player would be lovely. I think. Possibly. If it's well-written.

Suggestion: I believe that the best way to learn is to do. Someone should start a a roleplay of some sorts and just run it like a normal roleplay. it would give every one a chance to practice there roleplaying skills.

Message: I'll bring up the subject with the other VCs, but we already started making rps :] If you check the Roleplays subforum, we have rps being set up there. So if you check those out and still don't see something you like. If you haven't posted your introduction yet, then you can head over and do so and tell us what genres you like, and we'll see what type of rp we can come up with that will suit everyone's needs.

Suggestion: Everywhere I look people have pictures, poems, and random text symbols littering the tops and sides of their posts. Hell, they even ask for music to that embodies your character, the only music I listen to is whatever happens to be in the anime I'm currently watching. So I guess something about making artsy or pretty posts might be helpful, I know I suck at it. Back in my day people had to write out descriptions for their characters, and we were thankful for it! Kids these days got it easy with their photo shops and their photo buckets. *Shakes cane*

Suggestion: Because most of the games I am used to playing are not freeform, I never understood how someone can successfully play in or run a game with combat in it. How does one establish rules of engagement and how do you prevent it from turning into "I hit you!" "No you didn't!" type of thing.

Suggestion: There are a lot of very advanced players who could improve in leading roleplays. I would love it if one of those who has experience with leading and did lead some good RPs already (maybe some that found an end as well) could give some advice for everybody who doesn't just want to play anymore.
