The afternoon was chill and overcast. In other words, just right for taking a walk with the druttens, all wrapped up in a nice coat. While Chili and Clove were her most frequent companions, Siddie liked walking all eight of her druttens from time to time. They tended to get rowdy when cooped up in the room or the closet for too long.
It was Clove who spotted the ghoul first. It stretched its neck out towards her curiously. Then it caught the delicious scent of fresh blood. It chirped to the other seven and took off across the brown grass, heading rapidly for the source of that enticing scent. Before long, Chuppi would have eight druttens of various types surrounding her, doing their best to look sad and pathetic and convey the idea that none of them were ever fed, no, really, starving.
Siddie came dashing after them, saying hastily and with a great deal of embarrassment, "I'm so sorry - they usually don't do this ... "

Chuppi missed her thermos for several reasons, one of which was she no longer had a comfort to drink from when her nerves started to give out. Her food-crutch now gone she was forced to try and make it through situations without any help, therefore actually forcing Chuppi into a sort of crippling nervousness that found her hiding away from most students. She spent a good deal of time in trees or in the water, places people wouldn't look for a monster of her kind, though today she'd grown tired of hiding and had opted to just...lay around.
She was so wrapped up in her thoughts that she hadn't even noticed she was being crawled all over or looked at until a voice heralded her ears. The monster visibly startled as she let out a high pitched (sadly) squeak, enough to render the poor minipets a bit dizzy. Her cheeks turned a sad shade of flustered red as she looked up at the person who had spoken, her eyes watery. "Lo siento. I did not mean its."

The druttens backed off hastily as one; however, since the walk wasn't continuing just yet, three of them stretched out on the grass, one went sniffing interestedly around the area, two began a friendly wresting match, and the black one latched onto Siddie's skirt and climbed nimbly back up to her shoulder.
Th shadow ghoul absentmindedly raised a hand to rub behind its ear as she peered down at Chuppi. "Are you okay?" she asked, suddenly concerned. "You look like you're not feeling terribly well."

"I...I am sorry and...well...I am okay as well. Are you okay?" Her cheeks were flushed with embarrassment as she looked at the pets that were no worse for the wear, and she placed a hand on her chest with a delicate sigh. No one had gotten hurt and they seemed to be moving on okay, plus the person speaking to her was not upset either! That was very much a relief and the monster took it as a good thing in stride. This meeting hadn't been ruined by her before it had even started. "As for...feeling? I suppose I was just thinking too much? Have had a lot on my mind lately."
She missed her Thermos more than anything and the comfort it gave her. Not having one resulted in her attacking more than she needed to and sometimes overeating in an effort to calm her nerves. There had been a long trail of dead minipets left in her wake and, if anything, she was feeling very very guilty about that. Seeing as this person was curious they probably didn't know, but how long would Chuppi go on with that knowledge? Long enough, likely. "How...how are you going today?" This girl looked familiar but the monster couldn't place the name or....face.
