These two men are no stranger to each other. In fact, they are former Unlimited Tag Team Champions. When Matt Stone left the world of wrestling, Mike Landry remained a staple and earned more and more achievements. With Matt Stone returning, he was shocked to see his former buddy turn soft. Neither man will go easy on each other as there's bad blood and a title to boot. Good luck.

The arena went dark and multiple flashing white lights filled the stadium. The lights synced up with the bass line until the pace picked up and all the lights went on, an white pyro display going off on the stage. When it died down, Mike Landry appeared on the stage, sporting his new outfit of a white leather jacket with red trim, with matching long white tights.
To the sound of a heartbeat pounding away
To the rhythm of the awful rusted machines
We toss and turn but don't sleep

"Introducing first...from Seattle, Washington, weighing in at 245 lbs...He is the FORMER WWE:U Heavyweight Champion, The Innovator, MIKE LANDRY!!"
Landry stepped confidently down the ramp that evening, slapping hands with the fans at ringside as memories of the old WWE:U came rushing back to him. He had had such good times here, cutting his teeth, and even if the name had changed, some things never do. Matt Stone was here to challenge him for the inaugrual championship.
He jumped up onto the apron with a single vertical leap, sliding into the ring and jumping up onto the apron and hitting his signature pose, causing the crowd to pop big as they were very much ready for the main event, and to see the feud between these two warriors rekindle.

Matt Stone comes out from the back to a chorus of boos. He struts down the ramp towards the ring, wearing his patterned hoodie with a large Maple Leaf on the back. He walks right past everyone, even the nostalgic fans with their hands out just to get to touch a former WWEU star.

Stone walks right up the steps and gets in the ring, staring down his opponent, Mike Landry. The two have had matches in the past, but this might be the most important one to date. Stone would pace around, never taking his eyes off Landry awaiting the bell.

The bell sounded and Landry began circling, sizing his old friend and rival up, noticing quickly the determination in his eyes. Cautiously, he would step forward and offer a collar-elbow tie up.

Above all else, Stone prided himself on being able to one up his opponents, and this match shouldn't be any exception. Stone would accept the lock up, trying to back Mike up to the ropes to hopefully show he was stronger.

Landry allowed Stone to back him up, not willing to expend unecessary energy on a futile endeavor. He held his hands up, looking for the referee to force a clean break, though not expecting one.

As Mike held his hands up, Stone took a couple paces back, looking at Mike.
"This is too easy old friend, too easy"

Landry just smirked and cocked his head to the side.
"So are you," he said before jumping forward for a double leg takedown, attempting to roll it through for a Jacknife pin.

Stone was surprised as he was flipped on his back with Landry getting atop him. The ref got down to count, Stone getting his legs free

Stone would bridge up out of the pin and try and turn Mike over and down to the mat with a backslide pin!

Let the chain wrestling begin! Landry was turned over and brought into the backslide.
"1...2..." He was able to roll over his shoulders and under Stone's legs, and he's use that position to try and stack Stone up for another pinning combination.

Anything Mike can do, Matt could do better, at least according to him. Matt's shoulders were down on the mat He was able to kick out though after a two count, and in the process tried to use his arms to grab a hold of Mike's head for a rear naked choke. Chain wrestling is more than pins, you know

Landry got popped into the rear-naked choke, instinctively ducking his chin and grabbing the arms to try and alleviate the choke, but that wasn't going to work forever.

Sensing the choke wasn't going as planned, Stone would pull back his right arm and try and club Mike in the back of the neck with his forearm.

The clubbing forarm connects and Landry rolls off of Stone, onto his stomach holding the back of his neck.

Stone would roll over to his knees and glance over at Mike, getting back to his feet, measuring him for another attack.
