It was those few moments before the end that seemed like one was falling. Naibi's world had just screeched to a halt and suddenly it seemed just as if she'd went back in time.

Her mother was standing there it was the middle of the night and her hands on her hips, "There is nothing there." The woman with rollers in her hair was scolding her for continuing to cry and insist something had went into the closet...

Naibi's life suddenly lurched forward to her school years as her school mates were laughing and playing. Naibi however was quietly off to the side walking to steps forward one back towards a large tree. "Naiibbbiiiii come play~" Called a girl about the same age, "We need someone to be the last ranger!"

Naibi paused and looked towards the one calling her, she gave an owlish blink, "I'm busy!" She called back before something flew out of the tree she'd been heading towards leaving Naibi screaming in terror... before the world went black....

Naibi was now in middle school no one really bothered her as she was weird. Everyone let her go about her ways to keep her pacified, none of the teachers wanted her freaking out in class. When she did they'd let he run out of the room without batting an eye. No one cared what the strange girl saw or talked about.

It was when she returned home from a year at a private school Naibi was running up to the door steps, "Mama! I'm home!" The door bust open and the sight made her blood run cold. That was the last time Naibi remembered of coming home, not long after she was the a hunter. The flash back rushing forward as if the girl had blocked out coming home. She was training with the rest of the recruits.

Suddenly the days as a hunter were flying through her vision each death, each loss, even every victory. Suddenly present day was back with her, her eyes were wide as the jaws of Famine opened up and consumed her whole.
