IRON ISLAND The small island off the northeasten coast of the Sinnoh continent. It is here that the Strike team has claimed territory rights. Though the three teams work together, if things are to go bad ...all members of the Strike are told to meet back up at this island.
It is also the place where the team's most valuable resources are kept. Though considering it's an island of steel type pokemon ...it's not the resource that many think it is.Though there has been some changes to this island through time, the town here has been left in ruins and the inhabitants of the island had chosen to move more towards the center. Pokemon to be found on the coast: (5 rolls to reach the island center) Aron lvl: 4 - roll# 1 Drillbur lvl: 4 - roll# 2 Riolu lvl: 4 Roll# 3 Magnemite lvl: 4 roll# 4 Piplup lvl: 4 - roll# 5 Karrablast lvl: 4 Roll# 6 Shelmet lvl:4 Roll# 7 Scyther lvl: 4 Roll# 8 Ferroseed lvl:4 Roll#9 Durrant lvl: 4 Roll# 10

Tsuki had finally caught up with his Heatmor, Blaze in time for the ferry here. Another student had come along but Tsuki had remained quiet. The the salty water mixed with the cool breeze was relaxing. He'd stay focused up until he was back in his treehouse at Ash Forest. "As the ferry docked Tsuki finally spoke up. "Want to go as a team or solo?" he asked to the other student Raven. True there was strength in numbers but that was not why he had asked.
Blaze took the first step on, waiting for his trainer. Tsuki stepped on the sand. They'd have to explore the island to find Exell. This would be a great place to train his Pokemon. He had, by coincidence, caught three fire types. Blaze follows behind him suit. If Raven wanted to come along he should come now.
((On the off chance he does go along who rolls? And do they do double battles or fight alone?))

((....Tsuki. Two things. One, you keep forgetting to put "Exiting to..." at the bottom of your posts. Secondly, you skipped a step. Barney clearly told your character to take the boat from the Pokemon Center... xp ))
((To answer the other question, they'd take turns rolling. Double and Single Battles would likely vary on the whims of Lunar.))Raven would give no verbal reply to the boy, instead it would come in the form of the youth walking right passed Tsuki the moment his boots touched the sand. There was strength in numbers, this was true; however travelling in a pair had potential to stunt his own growth. Besides, neither the Heatmor nor the boy himself looked to be on the same level as him, or any of his team save one.
His boots crunching against the white silver sand of the beach, Raven would proceed forward into the island. If this man was a weapon's smith he'd likely be somewhere nearest the mountain; the source of the materials for forging. Most of them anyway...

((Actually rolls around laughing ....of all the pokemon ....the only one that is actually a threat))
Iron Island was very well named for the type of materials that can generally be found there, but as they stepped upon the beach they would find a pokemon that everyone figured would be here and one that was a complete oddity ....as Raven would step quickly away from the boy as the Piplup's head would come out of the sand. The pokemon had been riding the waves when he had pretty much been deposited there head first, and for some strange reason as his eyes fell on Tsuki he thought that it was the boy's fault for his strange situation.
He would give one hard flap of his fins as he stood up and glared at him.
One fin would point towards him as he would say the only words he would understand.
"Piplup."
Though the heatmor would easily understand the words.
((Bad Juju.))
The bird would declares as he would prepare for battle by literally unleashing a column of water. It would seem that this wasn't the type of Piplup to wait.
roll# 1 Piplup (m) lvl:4/Quirky Hp: 19 Pp:21 Att: 10 Def: 10 Spd: 9 Sp Att: 11 Sp Def: 10 Moves: Pound, Growl, Water Pledge Capture roll: 20
Though Raven would find that his foot would hit something hard in that move to step forward as the pokemon would pop it's head out of the sands with a surprisingly dull look in on it's face.
This Aron had actually come the beach to gain some sun, something that that wasn't only risky, but generally deadly if one of their kind manages to over heat. This was a creature that was suppose to flourish in darkness, but for whatever reason this Aron loved the sun.
So, with that in mind ...this was why the boy had run into this fight. A look of stupidity would come across his face as he gave a loud yawn in response.
roll# 2 Aron (m) lvl:4/lax Hp: 19 Pp: 19 Att: 11 Def: 15 Spd: 8 Sp Att: 9 Sp Def: 8 Moves: Tackle, Harden, Shock Wave Capture roll: 20

Raven scowled as he looked down upon the Aron. Such a Pokemon was lacklustre in their efforts, be it...well anything really. There was no room for laziness upon his team; besides, as he had told Jasmine back upon the island, he already had his Wall of Steel.
No, there was nothing to be gained from a battle with this creature. He would not capture it for reasons two fold, and he doubted the Aron itself would put up much of a fight...even if it's defense was strong, doubtless it's tactics would be lazy.
The boy would attempt the simplest of efforts. Stepping to the side so that the sun once more shone down upon the Aron's body, Raven would begin walking around the creature and across the sand. His business on the coast was fleeting at best...

((Why? And note me being Pokeball-less. So no starter for me. But I do have a fighting Pokemon.))
"Eh?! Go Prime block it!" Tsuki said on an instant. Blaze got mad. He was the one following him around today. Finally the trainer notice his mistake. "Sorry Blaze that's a water type. And we're novices. In short: we'll get beat silly." he explained to the Heatmor, who was now grouchy. Prime stepped forward and made an X shaped guard to protect himself.

((Last posts for tonight))
It was a simple answer to a very simple question as the pokemon whose battle lust was slow to rise would die the moment that the sun touches his skin once more. No, he was too lax to battle for something that was easily regain as he snuggles into the sands and yawns once more before digging his way lightly into the sands.
It would seem that his answer was right, otherwise, the boy might have found himself in horribly pain ....as the Aron went back to sleep letting him pass.

(Which is very good luck that you chose fighting for your starter))
The Column of water would come topple down towards the pokemon ....though it would land with a splash on the opposite side of him. The pokemon had literally missed it's target as the Piplup would shakes his head rapidly. He was right ...right, that this boy was bad juju ...even his attacks were failing as he went on the defensive.
His eyes narrowed as he would copy what the Monkey had done before.

((Nuts, was hoping for the Riolu. Oh well, fair is fair. Onward to Oblivion!))Each boot step would carry Raven forward across the beach. He'd noticed his classmate's plight, but chose to ignore it. It was a problem not his own. Besides, half of his own team weren't particularly well suited to combating Water-Types either. The odds did not stand well in his favor for such a confrontation.
Resting one hand on his belt over his PokeBalls, and the other hand on the hilt of his sword, he would look to the areas ahead. The Aron was hardly a fighter...but that didn't mean there wouldn't be Pokemon that were hidden out there somewhere.

((Actually you did I couldn't decide.))
-You don't listen. Bad juju cones from super serious boy with sword. This boy has no sword.- Prime said in Poketalk. If Tsuki was bad then he was a Girafareg. -This boy comes to stop bad juju. Stay safe.- he added as Tsuki looked confused. "Well lets go catch up with Mr. NoWords." he said as they walked fast, away. Prime was holding his had as he rises his trainer. Blaze would follow, still a bit grouchy. Prime was pretty smart for a Mankey.
Still the Piplup was distracted. However Blaze added as they tried going on their merry way -The boy used good juju to defend himself. Not bad.- ((Thank you Grey. emotion_awesome By the way this is a run away roll, not the one to see the next Pokemon.))

Onward Raven's journey would take him across the coast of the island, his feet leaving faint prints in the mineral encrusted sand. He journey was uneventful so far...but perhaps that was a good thing. This trek was certain to be a long one overall.

If Tsuki hoped to catch up with the black-haired youth which was Raven, he'd need to be fairly quick about in. In so short a time, Raven had pulled well and away from his fellow student. He'd always been told he had a rather swift stride, and this just served to prove it.
While Tsuki was still standing by the waters of the coast, Raven was nearly at the end of the place!

The Piplup watches as he hunkers in defense that the human walked around him ....walked around him. Eyes would narrow on that point as the Piplup would turn around to follow the human.
It was bad Juju to show an enemy your back, and as the boy seemed to be trying to get away ....the Piplup had decided that wasn't going to happen. Besides, he needed to get his good Juju back, and the only thing for it was a bad against the bad.
He would turn with a flap of his flippers and a clack of his beak as he would once more use Water Pledge. Though seeing three targets he would aim for the one it would be the easiest to defeat ...he aimed his attack at the Heatmor.

Though he was near ..didn't mean he was there ...as Raven would come across what seemed to be a colony of Magnemite. Each one hovering in place ....as their electricity sung between them ...forming a sort of chain. Or was it more like an electric fence as they saw Raven and quickly went side by side ...by side. The electricity rolling through the pokemon as well as beside it, so that anyone whom tried to climb over might find themselves with a problem. If he tried to walk between them ....the electricity would zap them, and though underneath seemed like a good idea ...whom would want to be foolish enough to try and go underneath an steel pokemon that is showing all signs that it won't let anyone pass it.
The boy had a problem here ...quite easily as they lined up.
There was enough of them that if he was to walk around it would take longer than to simply pick a single Magnemite and try to blast his way through.
Though that could present it's own choices if the other magnemite weren't willing to stay out of that sort of a fight.
Raven was left with a choice, fight his way through, or simply go around.
(Magnemite electric fence - to go around you will have to make 2 additional rolls. -If you choose to battle, you will have to win three matches against Magnemite to get through.)

As it seemed Tsuki and his fire Pokemon would have been helpful to Raven right about now.
The Water Pledge didn't even make it to Heatmor. By the time Piplup had reacted, they were long gone. Tsuki returned Prime, the savior of Heatmor. Heatmor grunted. Just wait till they met a steel type. Or bug, or even a grass. That said Tsuki picked up the pace. Might as well catch up with Mr. Social-Hour.
