Playground Field: The field looks like an average playground. Grass mostly covers the field floor, but sand surrounds the areas where the jungle gym, see-saw, swing set, merry-go-round, monkey bars, and trapeze rings are set. Scattered around the field are a baseball, a soccer ball, a football, and many other types of balls. A tree stands at one corner of the playground with a tire swing hanging from its strongest branch. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to NORMAL type attacks.

"Whoaaaa!" Zinnia exclaimed once she entered her trainer's box and saw the field. "Look at that, Zyk!" she said to her blind pokemon. "It looks like so much fun! Aw, I wish I could play in there... But we have to battle. So get ready, Zyk!" She thrust her fist into the air; Zyk, who had been perching on it, used the momentum to get some good height going before he hovered in his place on their end of the field.
"Zubat!" he squeaked, and quickly used echolocation to check out his surroundings. Other than the jungle gym, he had plenty of space to fly.

Shina walked into the stadium and smiled at the cheerful field. Releasing Rasha onto one of the open grassy areas, she called "Wow, it's nice to get a pretty field instead of one of the smelly or creepy ones!"

"Uh oh," Zinnia said upon seeing their opponent. How would tiny Zyk ever take down such a large pokemon? But she had to have faith in her little protector. Zyk never let her down. "You can do it, Zyk!" she encouraged. "Use Toxic!"
Zyk winged his way toward Rasha and dived. He dodged the flaming mane and tried to bite her on the neck so that he could inject his poison.

The tiny, agile creature was too fast for Rasha to dodge and she took a nasty bite. She winced, already feeling the sting of the poison. "Rasha, try Wild Charge!" Rasha immediately started building a charge, trying to zap the tiny bat.

"Great job, Zyk!" Zinnia congratulated. Then she winced in sympathy as her poor pokemon got hit by an electric attack; that had to hurt! But they wouldn't give up! "Go for a Steel Wing now!" she called.
Zyk bravely brushed off the electric attack, and then hardened his wings. He would make Zinnia proud!

"Okay, that didn't work," Zinnia realized. "Let's try Swift!"
Zyk flew up above Rasha's head and released a spray of stars from his mouth. The stars were even able to adjust their course if necessary to hit Rasha, so there was no way for the attack to miss!

Rasha huddled down and took the attack, not having much choice in the matter. "Rasha, zap him!" Shina called. Obediently, Rasha powered up another Wild Charge.

"That's bad news!" Zinnia said to herself when she saw Zyk stagger under a super powerful attack. "Zyk, use Confuse Ray!" she shouted, and prayed that it would work on Rasha.
Zyk shook his own head clear before sending out a ghostly and confusing ray. It danced around and around Rasha's head.

Zyk staggered in the air again as Rasha managed to overcome her confusion and land the hit. He was feeling really tired, but he refused to faint. He had to keep going. Zinnia was relying on him!
"I believe in you, Zyk! Swift!"
Heartened by Zinnia's voice, Zyk released another round of stars.

"Come on Rasha, just keep it up!" Shina called, not ordering a different move, keeping it as simple as possible to try to let Rasha fight through the confusion. If she could just keep attacking...
