This is a solo where Ayumu decides what she wants to be within the pride. (So this is predated her official JRP. ;])

 After only a short and all to brief period in the pride Ayumu found herself perfectly and utterly at home. Although, it was clear she wanted to make the pride feel at ease letting her and her companions into their home. She wanted to so very much to be of use to them, but on the same paw she wanted to do something she actually enjoyed doing. Ayumu was a very hard lioness to pin down as she could always be found, lost in some daydream or tale. So whatever job she did it would have to include that as well as not be overly stressful when had her 'diva' moments and wanted to do only as she wished to do. Well, mostly. Perching herself upon a small ledge of the cliff near the dens she found herself drawn to a small litter of cubs who had been born just a short time ago. She couldn't recall if they had been born before or after her arrival, but nonetheless they were adorable. As Ayumu oohed and awwed at them playing with one another she couldn't help but smile. There was something to be said for the joy that cubs could bring. Taking a moment to compose herself she realized that being a nanny would be almost a dream calling for her as most cubs loved to hear stories and tales about make believe creatures in other lands. Sure they were a bit more work then most would realize, but she knew that she could bring herself to do it for just those small moments, like this where she sat there smiling at their bright and adorable faces. When she told those cubs about her stories and watched as they lit up and began adding to her tales, it brought a sense of pride and joy. Pride as they were taking what she was showing them and using it themselves. Joy because of the simple joy that was on their maws over such outlandish and almost childish stories. Only question that came to her mind was how would she exactly go about becoming a nanny? And what would she do if she somehow managed to bring cubs of her own into the world? Taking only but a moment she found herself smiling once more. There would only be that more cubs to heads to fill with stories. Maybe they could even tell her stories! Her excitement grew at this thought. Cubs where untapped resources for most things.. wistful. Something she herself dabbled in quite often. But then after they were passed the stage of stories and fairytales, what would she do then? She was a decent enough hunter, although, the job she was choosing to do would not exactly require that. But she could still teach them should the job require it. With keen eyes she looked at the cubs as they made their way further up the cliff to the den's, passing by with their adorable smiles. She watched as they yawned and slowly began to drift into each other, obviously tired enough to sleep right there in the entry, should they be allowed to. When the cubs had made their way to the den to sleep she turned her head back to the falling sun in the sky. The true test would be for her to have cubs of her own. One's that she could bring back to be reared in the pride. If she could survive her own cubs, and they survive her then, she could certainly take care of any cubs that came her way. The plan was now set in motion. She would find a male in the rogue lands she had just left, or maybe one here in the pride after he earned his right to procreate with them. And she would have cubs of her own. She would raise them and if she was successful in making them useful to the pride and not at all a burden, then she would stake her job in this pride. She would be a nanny. This was her home and she would make it her job to take care of the young one's in the pride. It would take much thought on her part, but it was obvious that she would do whatever it took to make this tale of her's come true. For once in her life, she had a goal. A want. A wish. A dream. Whatever you chose to call it. But first she would have to face the trials she was now setting before herself. For one, she would need to gain permission to do this career. And lastly, she would need permission to leave the pride and enter the rogue lands and find a male who could give her the offspring she desired. Smiling once more she found her heart beating in her chest a bit faster. Her! A mother! The thought of hearing her name being called by such young one's, well it caused her heart to swell with joy. It was then that the thought really occurred to her. Soon, if everything went as planned she would be a mother. She had never really imagined herself as one due to her parents upbringing of her. And what would her sister think? Hm. Ayumu realized with a bit of a shock that she didn't really care what she thought on the matter. She would be a mother and she would raise her cubs with all the love and warmth she had received as a cub. But of course, she would teach them how to live on their own. Teach them how to hunt. How to fight even, should their paths in life require it. Although, she sincerely hoped it wouldn't. "Hmm." She said to herself, scrunching up her nose a bit. So maybe she wouldn't be the best one to teach them how to fight. But there certainly would be someone in the pride who could. Now yawning herself Ayumu stood up and stretched, allowing herself to be free from her plans. "For now I need rest." She said softly as she made her way into the cave, seeking out the comfort of her lonely den.
