
Once more, he wished he was at home, where he could simply relax in his family's den, but he was no longer a cub and that was no longer an option. It never would be again. Ima was still getting used to this transition to adulthood, but he was enjoying his newfound maturity as well.
Well, regardless of his maturity, he was still melting. With a sigh, he thought that maybe he could find some shade somewhere. As he searched, he suddenly began to pick up the sweetest smell that he could possibly smell at that moment. Water. Lots of water at that.
Lifting his nose in the air, he quickly trotted toward the scent, beginning to get excited. Finally, after bulldozing through a thicket of trees and beginning to lose hope, he saw it. There before him was seemingly the largest lake that he'd seen since he'd left home.
Taking off running, he leapt in the water, finally able to cool off from the heat of the treacherous sun.
