~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nezumi stepped out of his favorite candy shop; he hated being lonely so he spent a good bit of time in there. He had been looking for a room mate but no one answered his ad. He openned the bag of candy in his hand and pulled out a lollypop, putting it in his mouth. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ark was walking down the street, not paying much attention to his surroundings. He had no real goal in mind; he had just felt like walking around this part of town. It hadn't taken him long to feel unwell, though, so he had started to head in the general direction of his car. While in his reverie, he ran into a younger man who had just exited a store.
"I'm sorry," he said, "I wasn't paying attention..."
( Sorry that's so cliche and awkward. )

 Ark quickly regained his composure, and looked down at the person he'd knocked over, not making any effort to help. "Aren't you a bit too old to be going to a store like this?" he asked, "This looks like a kid's store."

"My, my, you are quite defensive, aren't you?" Ark asked with a condescending smile. "People walk on sidewalks. You should have moved." He looked at the young man's face, arching an eyebrow.

Ark gave the boy a furious glare, but quickly took a deep breath and assumed his former expression of vague annoyance. "You're acting like a child," he said. "Do you want anything from me? You could have just moved on." He ran a hand through his hair, just noticing he was short of breath.

Ark quietly laughed to himself, and then called out to the boy, "You know, it's beyond rude to leave your trash on the sidewalk. You aren't going to pick it up?" He leaned against a wall for support, not wanting to head to his car yet, as the boy was going in the same direction.
